Boston, Boston, Boston! I don't even know where to start! I just had to plan and bury the love of my life/fiance of 17 1/2 yrs, Lindsay Crawford on May 13, 2017. I had never had to do this before but after the phone call to Boston Mortuary, I feel all my fear and worries were taken away. With their help and service and because Lindsay had told me what he wanted, for about the past 2 yrs, planning his service was the easiest project I've ever had to accomplish. It was the hardest, emotionally but I wouldn't take anything back after working with Boston Mortuary. Lindsay , looked so good laying in that shiny burgundy casket trimmed in rose gold that we wanted to leave him open during the quiet hour and during the funeral. Me and his sister just wanted to keep looking and staring at him. My friend took pics of him when we went to view him the day before service and I don't usually go back and look at pics of the deceased but because he was the love of my life and because Boston Mortuary did such a magnificent job on him, when I feel myself getting down and depressed, I go back and look at those pics of him at funeral home. Not only did Boston Mortuary help me send Lindsay home like the King he was but they treated me as a Queen. From the owner, Clarence along with other staff members such as Lucy, Blu, and Wan, etc(can't remember everyone's name) I would recommend Boston Mortuary to anybody! As a matter of fact, I have been recommending them! I will forever cherish and remember my experience with working with them. They definitely need more than 5 stars for my review but after this book right here I'm writing, you all should understand how much of a SATISFIED customer me and my family are with what we got from Boston Mortuary Boston, keep doing what you do and may god continue to BLESS you all. They held a service for my best friend today. They ruined the service for him and his family.first they told the family mask were not required. But then when the family showed up the wouldn’t let them in the building without one. We asked if they had any for those that didn’t bring one. They didn’t have any(mind you the staff were not wearing mask properly or at all). I had to walk across to the 7-11 and spend 50 bucks on masks. Then the mother realized they did not finish dressing brandon before wheeling I’m out for viewing. He was not shaven as requested, and he was missing belt, watch and glasses that were give to the home to have on him. And the make up was horrible. Also The mother ,of a 21 year old gone suddenly, paid for a private service from 12-1, and Public viewing at 1-2 and the service starting at 2pm. The priest they hired(his name tag said he worked for them) was late to the private service. Then proceeded to tell the family sorry this is the best he could do on short notice. Read 3 scriptures then told us all to leave at 1:30. Non of his friends were going to be able attended the service because their website even state that the service started at 2pm for the public. The family had to explain there was 2 services to him. Again the mother had to yell that she had paid for til 2:30. Then after to a short public service. They ended so early we had to wait 30 mins for the police escort they had ordered for 2:45(which they showed up at 2:30). Then at the funeral they were very rude to the Paul bearers when unloading Brandon for the hearse/funeral coach. And the.icing on the cake, at the service at the gravesite, the Cemetery had some of Brandon’s favorite snacks for the guests as soon as their part was done the hearse driver walked over and grabbed a Mountain Dew and a bag of cookies. Just completely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful in my opinion.

We lost my brother-in-law very suddenly due to a pedestrian-vehicle accident shortly after Thanksgiving. The death was very unexpected because he was a young guy, just barely into his 30's. We didn't know what to do, and everything was overwhelming between the police investigation and the grief felt by my spouse and mother-in-law. We contacted several funeral homes to set things up for a cremation and a small memorial service for local friends and family. Many places refused to tell us how much the services would cost, or weren't transparent with us on how we were to proceed with the funeral arrangements, and some didn't return our call at all. The people at Roseboro's were extremely professional, kind, patient, and thorough in walking us through what needed to be done after a death in the family. For my spouse and I, this was our first death in the family after reaching adulthood. The kindness from the people at Roseboro's felt genuine. Besides the people, other aspects of the cremation/memorial service were wonderful. The urns were beautiful, the service was beautiful, the memorial display was especially beautiful, and we really couldn't have asked for a nicer memorial in such a short amount of time. The deceased lived a very varied life, and people from all walks were welcomed into the chapel. Thank you Roseboro's, for helping us send off Jesse.

If I had it to do over I would not choose this place and WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THEM. Directly after my son's service I was called in the office alone and very uncompassionately handed my son's ashes. Like I was being handed a shopping bag. As you can imagine this was very unnerving and upsetting. A few weeks later I went to the social security office and they informed me that they had no record of Brandon ever passing and I had to prove me son was dead. Roseboro said it wasn't their job but everyone from my attorneys to the social security office said it was indeed their responsibility. They took an already trimitic situation and made it worse. After they got our money they were not supportive or helpful at all. I would highly recommend looking else where when planning your loved ones final service. If I could give 0 stars I would. Since I can't reply to your generic message I will reply here. The management team was well aware of my bad experience as I spoke to you after leaving the Social Security office where I had to prove my son was dead. This was not in 2021 but in February of 2022 and I don't have anything to say to you. You made a tragedy even more traumatizing. I'm hoping others read this and choose to go elsewhere.

I can not say enough great things about Boston's. I had such a great experience the first time in 2010-current my family and I have used their services 4 more times after that. I have plans for my self to go their when im gone. When my mother passed was the first time i have ever had to plan a funeral i had no clue what to do or how to do it. Donnica took me in her office pulled out all kinds of pricing sheets showed me urns. I was lost so i explained to her how much money i had and what i had in mind she showes me their amazing package deals. Donnica and Clarence took their time with me i never felt rushed. Then everytime after that i just call Clarence and tell him where to pick up and never have to worrie about anything but signing papaers and arranging times. Their staff is great and caring as well. I recommend Boston's to everyone i know beautiful location, great staff that go above and beyond and amazing prices you cant go wrong. I give them a⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating.

I lost my 15 year old son suddenly and unexpectedly in January. Losing a child whom you love so very much is a very horrible and traumatic experience. My husband and I were devastated that we had to put our baby to rest but were pleased with the friendly and warm service we received from Lucy and the staff at Boston Mortuary. We had visited a previous funeral home and it felt cold and lifeless. As soon as I entered to doors of Boston I felt it was the right funeral home to take care of my baby boy. Thomas took care of making sure my baby was well taken care of and he looked as close to his natural self as he possibly could right down to shaping his hairline up neatly. I am super pleased with Boston Mortuary and often stop by just to say hello and let them know they are so appreciated. I also refer other friends who have lost loved ones to them. I would like to thank Boston Mortuary for the Stellar service they provided to our loved one. I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs.Boston(Donnica). She was conversational, and had a really warm down to earth personality. She answered any questions we had, and addressed any issues. I was really satisfied with how they prepared him. Our loved one looked really nice. This process was sudden and difficult for our familiy. They made us feel like they cared. I know this is their profession, but she made us feel like it was more than just a job. They exceeded our expectations, and really did an awesome job. I hope we will not need their services anytime soon. However, if anyone in the area is in need of services I would highly recommend Boston Mortuary for affordable pricing and great service.

My Aunt passed away very unexpectedly just before Christmas. As you can imagine it was a very difficult time for my family, but the staff at Boston's Mortuary arrived promptly and was willing to answer our many questions. They dealt with all my families concerns with patience and compassion. The kindness and generosity that was shown to my family by the Boston's Mortuary staff far exceeded all our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, seamless service for my Aunt. The level of professionalism and care that was shown throughout the whole process did not go unnoticed nor will it be forgotten. We sincerely appreciate everything the Boston family did to help our family get through that very difficult time.

I am very disappointed with the "service" that I received when my mom Betty Henderson passed away. Only two people came to my house and Matthew had to help carry his grandmother from her room to the living room where the stretcher was. The guy that was carry my mom's legs almost dropped her and her legs slid off the stretcher. When he got her back on the stretcher, he knocked something off the bookcase and that almost hit her. I purchased an urn from somewhere else. When I went to pick up her ashes, I asked if they would place her ashes in the urn that I had purchased. I was told "Oh we charge extra for that". Seriously!!! I guess it goes back to the old saying - you get what you pay for.

I would like to express, my review I attended Sydney Ariel service as I was walking in at 11:55 the female funeral attendant tried to get another funeral attendant to shut the door as I was walking in. Service did not start until 12pm. That was very rude. I’m a Business owner myself , you have to mind the way you treat people that YOU are servicing. Word of mouth is how I generate half my business. So therefore be mindful of who your rude too are unfriendly. I know w the owner of this funeral and they do good work but sometimes one person can leave a bad taste for all .

Very hard moment is someone’s life when they lose a family member, even harder when it’s your mother, friend, confidant, the biggest fan you will ever have. Audry helped me through it ALL!!! Very compassionate, understanding, like able person. She made one of the hardest moments in my life a breeze. How she did it I will never know, somethings were just not meant to know the ends and outs of. She was a true blessing in disguise and I will be forever thankful and grateful for her. My mother-in-law passed in June 2023. Her arrangements were pre-paid and handled professionally. Upon her passing at the nursing home, two young men came to take her to Roseboro's. They were thoughtful and allowed us all the time we needed. She was cremated and that was also handled in a professional and caring manner. Today, we returned to get a cremation certificate, and everyone was so nice and helpful. The young man on the desk recognized us after seven months. I would recommend the services at Roseboro's to anyone!

After a less than ideal experience with another local funeral service provider, looked carefully at competition. Found Boston's to be ideal for our family based on location, service, value, ambiance. Their decor is tastefully modern and provides a counterpoint of lightness during a somber occasion. My relatives from out of town were pleased by the beautiful way my mother was presented. I filled out contact info on website. I received a call back and was told to inform nursing home of our choice, which I did. My mother in law passed away on a Sunday morning and could not contact Roseboro mortuary. The phone number listed on website had a recording stating the voicemail was not set up. Had to make different arrangements under stress. I now wonder if this place even exists. How can you not have a working phone?

When Boston receives a negative review, the first thing you notice is them automatically saying, "the competition is doing this or that." Well Boston 4y/o Mariya Owens was not "your competition," she was the little girl murdered twice. Each time by those that were tasked with keep her safe, in both life and death. If you lose a loved one, do them a favor, use people that actually care.

Mr. Boston is an A+ person and businessman. He and his staff are the are the most caring and genuine group of people that I met in a long time. I felt like family. Mr. Boston is personable, and seems to make time for each of his customers. I found that to be striking. I hope that I donor have to Knock on his door to do this again but if you need to you will NOT be disappointed.

Customer service was horrible. The receptionist was so rude when I called to ask a few questions after booking with them. I had booked an appointment with them then just decided to cancel it the next day. I took my family else where.
