We had lunch, and there were several positive standouts about this restaurant. First, the vibe and music; its very laid back, not divisive, and entertaining. Second; the location immediately opposite the square, with good peoplewatching, but also the diversity of rooms within which to sit or stand (they have good booths, casual chairs, barstools both inward and outward facing, high tables, low tables, couches, and captains chairs, both near and far from the hustle and noise of the outside). Third; the promptness and congeneality of the servers during the day (we had Philip and were very pleased), which is usually something daytime restaurants have to give up on. Fourth; the food - it came out quickly, and was well ordered (we got burgers and sandwiches made with pulled pork, which could easily fall apart, but was done properly). The parking situation is the only negative thing i have to say about this restaurant.

Nothing really good to say to be honest. Came in twice to check that the experience was equal. Yeah unfortunately it was. Not sure who the bar maid is with the long dark hair but is severely lacking in customer service skills. First time, granted, served by a nice chap who asked many questions to said bar maid, result was fine to be fair although we didn’t drink the recommended soft drink with the spirit. Charged a little bit more than expected but no problem, left a 2 dollar tip and left. Came back later on at closing time. Ordered a miller and a vodka with cranberry. Charged $17… something. No problem. Put 20$ down to pay, never seen an option of change or anything, the $20 was clearly a given for said drinks. Overall completely understand unsociable and rude. Here for the next 7 days and although our local place for drinks, will not be returning. Garbage.

Each time I walk into Rodeo Bar it’s like I’m returning to the home of a good friend. The rustic design, doesn’t feel heavy thanks to all the windows, and the large bar that appears to be floating in the middle of the space. The quick service of the servers, and bartenders gives you plenty of time to enjoy your friends, yummy meal and delicious cocktails. They aren’t skimpy with their food, so bring a healthy appetite! If you love people watching, or even fellowshipping with a few like myself, Rodeo Bar’s Location in the Adolphus Hotel, makes this one of the perfect spots to spend time. Everything about this place made me smile - from the decor, to the food, to the cocktails, to the friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. The Big Tex was a fantastic burger (we split it.) and the others also were happy with theirs, so solid. Everyone was pleased with their cocktails and they were very nicely presented. The notable side/starter was the chili cheese fries. Their chili is some bbq shredded meaty goodness vs the ground beef and beans. Do it! And by far the most notably amazing thing - like best food I’ve eaten in a few months kinda amazing - the banana pudding. Who knew something so delicious could be served in a plastic cup? Wow, get it and you won’t be disappointed.

My flight flew in from SFO to DFW at about 10:30pm and I didn't get to my hotel until after 11pm. I was so hungry and the restaurant (Jaxon) I originally wanted to go had already stopped serving food. I turned around and found Rodeo Bar. Ordering was easy at the back counter and the friendly staff member explained I could seat myself. The burnt ends sandwich $12 was excellent. It had a good smokey flavor without too much sauce. Their nachos $13 were delicious. It was poured over with beans, chili, salsa and sour cream. The secret to good nachos is retaining the crispiness of the chips with all the wet ingredients. No one likes soggy nachos. Good job chef and staff at Rodeo Bar.

This place was on my list! It definitely held up with the reviews, I really enjoyed the service and the food was delicious!!! I had the longhorn and tejano, the loaded and wow! Definitely good for pregaming or after a night of drinking, the location is awesome cause right across from this place is right across from the at&t discovery plaza. I'll be back

Honestly, probably one of the coolest atmospheres in Dallas, that you don't even fully notice off the street. The neon creates a really cool environment, and the food is great! And the bartender is amazing. They took the time to try and figure a drink I wanted, even though they could have told me to get something else. And when they didn't have an ingredient, they were able to make something else in the blink of an eye. Definitely recommend this place for a laid back date night

Josh was more than enough to make us come Back here day after day on our trip. He made recommendations to our orders that we absolutely loved. Recommended beers based on our taste descriptions was extremely friendly and welcoming. Also jumped to treat everybody just the same. Someone like this should own his own establishment one day because he just seems so pleasantly passionate about his work and how he interests with people. They were very accommodating with helping us reserve several tables for a small gathering for a departing colleague.  The Rodeo burger is actually very good, the only issue that it was too small.  I like the location because it has a very good view of the giant screen at the ATT discovery center. If you're not into that type of view,  the bar area has a very good view with all the different types of specialty drinks that will make happy hour a happy hour.

As much as I like the food. I noticed a few things that made this last visit my last. For starters, saw 1 cook rub his eyes with gloves on and another cook rub stuff on his forehead with gloves on. That’s fine if that’s what you want to do. But change your gloves. Then 1 of the 2 bartenders is so loud with his bar conversations. But I saw him eating from the expo line and after he finished, didn’t wash his hands. I’m not expecting fine dining standards but damn! Also coughing in his hands but didn’t wash them one time. But I’d say the other bartender Hunter, was pretty decent.

I walked in and the space is very open and welcoming with lots of comfy seating. The Rodeo bar has lots of photo worthy spots and the staff are attentive and friendly. Server, Blu, was quick to greet me and offer recommendations. The fried chicken sandwich she recommended was crispy, juicy and delicious. It was so good I was tempted to order another one for dessert. I definitely have to come back and try more of the menu. THANK YOU!

Great spot located just in front of AT&T Center, with accessible prices and great cocktails as well as a good selection of beers, we didn't order food but the menu looked very interesting. The place is not big and there was live Music when we were there. The atmosphere was pretty good, it looks like the Pre-Party bar where people go before night clubs, there were both young and older people and there's no dress code. The service was nice.

Smash burger was good...it's more of a patty melt, but whatever. I'm sure some people get great service here. I did not. She asked for my card and ran it beforehand, lol. I guess I did look kinda bummy. But even after tipping almost 25%, before my food was served, she still was not interested in my patronage. Second time in. This time raised my rating but not by much. Bartender first time was almost deliberately inattentive and rude. I asked about certain menu items and she told me the nachos were awful. Today the bartender was nice but I was frustrated with not getting exactly what I ordered, and then her keeping my card behind the bar when I’d expressed I wanted to close out immediately. Restaurant/bar itself has good vibes. The queso is fantastic.

Super fun venue that's new to Deep Ellum! It's a country bar but all genres of music fans are welcome! They could work on their beer selection but their mixed drinks and shots have a major variety. Best chicken fried steak I've ever had! It's their special on Tuesday and it is sooo delicious. The staff here is awesome as well. Very friendly people and always remember us. My only complaint with this place is the drink prices. It's $13 for a vodka soda! As a downtown resident, I know of 4-5 other places where I can get the same thing for $7 or less.

If country music, good vibes, and a general sense of community is what you’re looking for in the Downtown Dallas area…I could not recommend the Rodeo Bar more. Day or night, lunch, dinner, or night time debauchery… this is a must to either pop in for a beer and shot, or cozy up to the bar and make a new friend or three for the night. Madison behind the bar cannot be missed, her unicorn rainbow hair is almost as bright as her smile… and her cocktails will definitely put one on your face for sure. If she’s not around, Micah is an absolute delight, and Zach is the man. 10/10 highly recommend.

Have lived downtown for 13 years and rodeo bar has been a staple the whole time. Routinely great service, food, and drinks. More recently, so happy with Hunter behind the bar who’s made my favorite bar even better. If you want a great drink and good convo, ask for him : )

Great service but I got bamboozled by an item menu. Carne Asada plate. Is actually a bowl. And it’s 80% rice veggies and beans. $17 bucks for that and the asada is in chunks sadly. SO FUN!! This old retro bar has been revamped while still keeping its Texas history. The food was SO good and I was impressed by how good the margarita was (fresh lime, no mix!). The game room downstairs is super fun as well. I will definitely be back.

Convenient location, friendly staff, chill place. But let me tell you about the fried chicken sandwich. The place could have been inconvenient, with abusive staff, surrounded by rats and spiders, and I would come back 100 times for another sandwich.

Fun, touristy bar with southern comfort food. Great burgers, but beware the price tag on the Ranch Water! And don’t miss out on the downstairs lounge for pool and darts.

Went to the Rodeo Bar at the Adolphus Hotel on Business trip. The Rodeo Burger was awesome but the highlight was the bar tender, Madison who made the best drinks. Great vibe! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Dallas.

Great bar with a friendly atmosphere. Madison was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. Hope to frequent the bar again soon!

We love Madison @ rodeo bar! She made us feel at home and really was a good time. Her pink hat really topped it off
