This is a review of both the park and the every Saturday, from March to October, Farmers Market. The park is quiet the rest of the week. Like most other parks in Albuquerque, Robinson Park has many homeless people that lay around and some tents are there. On Friday evening, most homeless are herded out to make room for the Saturday Farmers Market. The Farmers Market is the best in Albuquerque, with a combination of vendors. From vegetables, fruits, breads, to music, arts and crafts. If you like dogs, there are many people that bring their dog.

I live near by this park. I love going there with my dog and people watch. No playground for children, it's more of a adult park with benches and tables for picnics. Lots of trees for shade and plenty of sunny space also. The highlight of this park is on Saturday mornings in the summer time with the Growers Market. So many booths for food, bakeries, fresh local grown produce and custom crafts. EBT accepted. Also live music and performances. Early bird gets the worm because the event is usually done by 12 noon.

The farmer's market here is truly special. It evokes a real feeling of community. It also doesn't hurt the produce available is truly special. I picked up a fresh ham steak (these are hard to find uncured!) from Polk's Folly. It was a truly special cut of meat. There is a vendor specializing in sprouts as well that I absolutely adore. Plus everything is reasonably priced considering the quality you are receiving. I'll be back this weekend and every weekend until the market closes up for the winter!

They have a great farmer's market there Saturday mornings. Local produce, fresh bread, breakfast burritos, wheat grass shots, seedling plants, homemade jams and jellies, local artist's ceramics and textiles like hats, scarves and tote bags, home baked animal treats like mini dog muffins and peanut butter lolli-pups, all natural lotions, lip balms and scents. So happy my coworker told me about this place! Near Central and 8th Street, west of the traffic circle.

Such a beautiful park, in the heart of the downtown area. We went for the Farmers Market and were truly impressed by how many vendors there. The live band was really cool, and kept everyone entertained and smiling thru the heat. Vendors had beautiful art and jewelry, fresh grown crops as well as flowers. Handmade soaps, lotions and essential oils, baked goods, and the best carne asada burrito ive had in a while. Definitely check it out. Every saturday 8-12

The Saturday farmers market at Robinson Park is amazing. There are about 100 local vendors with amazingly diverse offerings. Farm produce, honey, jewelry, meat, and an array of food vendors only scratch the surface of what you can buy in this marketplace. You can use NM Double Up Bucks at most, if not all the stalls, which can be purchased using EBT, cash or credit/debit card. Get there early, parking can be a challenge as the morning wears on.

Robinson Park is a nice park. They've recently re grassed and planted new vegetation. It looks a lot better than what it was before. The homeless do tend to sleep there. Though the police are quick to kick them out. Large groups are fine for parties and visiting. I wouldn't recommend children to play in the area alone. Some people can get a little suspicious and cautious to be around. Over all, it looks really nice after what they've done.

We go to help friends at the Downtown Grower’s Market on Saturdays. It’s a lovely park and it’s nice to see so many people from different walks of life coming together to support local and each other. Every time we go everyone is always pleasant and we normally have a lot of fun. As for the park when it’s not the Grower’s Market, the few times I drive by it looks clean and quiet. Not many people hanging out.

  • Shane Train

Loved the bread especially the chocolate almond croissant! My son and I also got the banana and chocolate chip cupcake, simply wonderful. We tried the crepes too, delicious! There are fruits and veggies too, we bought shallots and seedless watermelon. We were more into the food part . We also bought burritos with steak and eggs and steak with chile relleno. Kinda pricey but it was fun to go to.

Drug addict hangout mostly. Trash left around, dirty needles etc... Saturdays the Farmer's Market is held here. I see people lounging on the same ground where the homeless on every other day lounge around in filth. No way I would ever sit on grass there. My name for Robinson Park is 'Heroin Park' or 'Needle People's Park'. What do you all think? Which name do you prefer?

  • John McCall

The crem de la crem of Albuquerque, but only on Saturday morning when the Farmers Market is there - This should be an all day 7 day a week market - it is the finest collection of organic local food and drink of all kinds, art, crafts, jewelry and fresh plant starts anywhere in ABQ with bodacious local music - dance barefoot in the grass! - don't miss it Saturdays 7-12

Farmers market is amazing, great place to start off the weekend with art, fresh fruit and vegetables and sweets. Parking can be a bit difficult but it is nice surrounding neighborhood and great for a weekend stroll. Before and after the market I would take caution when visiting the park. There is an alarming number of needles in the grass.

  • scott gillespie

A large collection of local farmers and artisans all in one place. Beautiful produce and fresh baked goods. My favorite place is tulipani , a tiny pasta shop. The pasta is incredible, especially the green chili ravioli and the green chili fettuccine. The pasta is frozen when purchased so make sure you bring a cooler.

  • Kathy Candelaria

WI just wish that the homeless kept it cleaner for weekend advents cuz it is a public park after all. Go for walks and it always seams to be a Needle laying around, so when you go there be careful if ur wearing flip flops. But other than that, have fun when you go and visting the park.... …

  • Melissa Alexander

The park is a great venue for one of the best farmers markets you will find featuring local New Mexican produce, art and fresh breads. The breakfast burritos are incredibly delicious. You can find local teas, jams and honey ss well. Items change weekly. Park is laid out well in downtown Albuquerque.

  • Joan D

This is nice park. I dont feel safe going to it by myself other than that it's great on Saturday when they have the Farmer's Mkt here because you get lots of shade in the summer and it feels so much safer then because so many people go this. It's like a little festival on Saturday. Very nice.

  • Pat Paiz

Went to the farmers market on Saturday. There were a wonderful assortment of booths and lots of different vendors. It was the first event of that type I have been to since before Covid struck, and also the first time I was ever in that park. It was nice, but the vendor prices were sky high.

  • Karin Feldkamp

Robinson park is on 8th Street and Central surrounded by beautiful large tree's, benches, beautiful grass, and every Saturday a fantastic farmer's market through November. It is in a community surrounded by coffee shops, and great little restaurants in the he downtown region of the city.

  • John Russell

The rating would be 5-star on those Saturday mornings when the park is the site for the Downtown Grower's Market. The rest of the time it's primary purpose is to provide a resting/sleeping area for the city's homeless population so you need to step carefully to avoid used syringes.

  • Romie Miller

Robinson Park is known for drug dealing and other crime. However, the police have cleaned up the park a lot in the last year, and dealers and the homeless are less prevalent. That said, there is a farmer's market in the fall and other activities there, and it is close to downtown.

  • Deborah “Debbie” Louie

I go every week for their farmers' market. A great atmosphere. Love to see all the people walking their dogs & cats in packs. They offer a variety of entertainment good for the whole family.
Dog-friendliness
It is a fun parade of dogs that are all well-behaved.

  • Anthony E

I came during the farmer's market on Saturday. Big different from during the week. There are many vendors and great products. Parking is terrible.. I had to park three blocks away. I will definitely be going in back.
Restrooms
There are no restrooms..

  • Kristi Betts

When we visit Albuquerque I have to go to the Grower’s Market on Saturday. The genders have beautiful fruits and vegetables, and the artists have lovely, unique pieces to purchase. It is always a great time to find delicious food and to discover new artists.

  • Carolina Cositore Sitrin

This RV park was recommended by The Garage as a place to stay after a long, tiring day. Perhaps this parking lot would have been restful, but I was rudely refused service because my camper was too small! Maybe she just wanted to continue watching TV.

  • Hassan Ali

My favorite farmers market in town. I go with my family every Saturday to hang out, eat breakfast and purchase few produce. The park is not recommended during the week since there are some homeless activities and drugs that take place there.

  • Laura Wagner

This park is a lovely, green oasis in the central city. I highly recommend it on Saturday mornings during the Downtown Grower's Market even with the hoard of people. However, the rest of the week, I do not recommend it. Until our city and

  • Andrea Schoeny

Love the downtown growers market on Saturdays here at Robinson Park. Unfortunately, during other days of the week, I choose not to use the park for recreation as there seems to be a lot of drug paraphernalia and other litter in the grass.

  • Valentine Lane

The farmers market was there. Amazing smells, beautiful artwork, great tasting food. Everyone enjoying themselves. Really good vipe. Like you could stay and chill for hours. Some people dancing, others picnicking. I had a wonderful time.

  • Jennifer Hudson

Saturday market happening! Lots of vendors and artist!!! Natural products, food and jewelry. -Music too! It was super cool to walk around - even though they were breaking down by the time we had arrived. Would have loved to visit longer!

  • J Bernstein

Could be awesome with a little love. Often homeless and junkies have taken it over. Not unusual to find trash and needles. The volunteer filled, "doggie bag" dispenser is always empty. The grass is green and the trees are tall though.

  • Gary Patneaude

The Farmer's Market on Saturdays is incredible. Local growers, artists, bakers, juicers, honey. The atmosphere, and the smiling faces...it's a feel good place. 8a-noon. I don't know when it stops, but they do it all summer, for sure.

  • Erwin Hellman

The Farmers market is diverse and friendly, with many food and beverage options . Also, there are crafts of many different types. If you bring a dog , be prepared for the crowd. Not many places to sit in the shade, so bring a chair.

  • Rich DLG

Cute little park that transforms into the best farmer's market in Albuquerque on the weekend! I absolutely love buying my fruits and vegetables here, and there are meat vendors, arts and crafts, and everything else in between.

  • Josh Shriner

I've only visited during the Grower's Market, but that was simply an incredible event. There were people doing yoga, a band was playing, kids rolling around on the lush grass, and food was everywhere! It was a glorious scene.

  • Felicia Maestas

We come here every Saturday for the farmers market. I love all the fresh grown fruits and vegetables. I also a dozen of Quail eggs. They were so delicious. I also get skin salvation. Which is a cream made of beeswax. …

  • James S. Hunter

It's like a Farmer's market on Saturdays, but with food to eat, food to take home, and odds and ends. The trees and their shade are welcome too. What about the entertainment? Yes!! It's a blast. Go there, you'll love it.

  • Archer

Nice little park when not being over run by the homeless. City of Albuquerque farmers market good. Not vegan but the vegan tamales are good in summer when market open. Parking kind of scarce but can park on side streets.

  • Mary Hernandez

Great park and spot for the local downtown growers market. The only thing is to be aware. I have found needles in the grass. It is a homeless campsite. Which isn't an issue, but just gotta be careful as you do anywhere

  • Señorita Ruth

Great walking destination. Park anywhere downtown and enjoy the stroll. City public art and weekend community events make it a worthwhile, if small, park stop. Enjoy the company of a wide swath of fellow travelers.

  • General Dexter

Kind of sad that only trash and homeless people were there.. Never had someone tell me to give him $5. ☹️I saw dirty socks by a very nice fountain dedicated to a person who saved others., so it's a sad park to me.

  • Karilyn Haozous

Great farmers market! Love seeing people out and about, and masked. Nice to socialize with vendors. I enjoy the everyday and unique products and street side musicians that are sometimes there, or nearby.

  • David Sickles

Show up in the summer on Tuesdays for the Tastey Tuesday food truck line up. Let the kids run around and listen to music. This is a nice sized park in the city with easy views to let the kids run around.

  • Carmen Badeau

Such a beautiful park! I usually go there on Saturday mornings in the summer months to go to the farmer's market! It's packed with lots of food, vegetables and crafts! Great place to just hang out too!

  • Tone

Went for the growers market. It was full of happy faces, good vibes, delicious foods, and vibrant business owners. Everything was wonderful. The grass was a great place to play and chill. More

  • Kurt

Used to be a nice local park, but the homeless have taken over except during the Saturday Farmers Market, which is thriving. Must go check it out on a Saturday morning, but avoid otherwise

  • Camera God

Usually most Sundays are the best to visit this area and downtown for the car show. About 4-9 is when the show goes on Sunday Fundays bring your autos out and cruise Rt. 66 downtown.

  • R Scott Carlson

Love this place. All the trees were pruned this spring, the turf is beautiful, and the living is easy lol. The weekend growers market has really hit it's stride. I go all the time

  • Marissa Joe

Great park when thier are events held. No play ground so not too interesting for kids unless you bring your own things to play with. There are 2 nearby parks with play equipment.

  • Clarissa J

The French baker stand is by far the best! Go early so u can get a sourdough loaf, it is wonderful. It's the only stand that almost always has a line but more than worth wait

  • Taylor Mackay

Loved coming here Saturday mornings over the summer. Farmer's market is amazing and there is a huge variety of food and crafts. Live music is also great. Always a good time.

  • Melissa Barreras

It is a nice spot to watch all the cars on Sunday when they would actually let people cruise The only downside are the homeless that sleep in the park and the needles

  • Morgan Sheridan

I attend the wonderful Downtown Grower's Market at Robinson Park on Saturdays. From local organic farms to talented artisans, this market has something for everyone.

  • Antonio Zamora

It's nice, conveniently located between downtown and old town. The major downside is a bunch of Bums were camping out which makes me question how kid friendly it is

Very popular on Saturday mornings as the location of the Grower's Market! On other days, you occasionally have to avoid the broken beer bottles and syringes

Very nice setting. A lot of vendors. Good hatch chili for sale. Roasted and ready for sale. We need a lot more events like this. Covid 19 permitted.

I consider it one of the best traditional parks I have seen. Closed canopy urban forest is rare in any climate. This one exceeds expectations.

Some homeless people sleeping there. I didn't feel comfortable letting my baby run and play by himself. It was mostly clean, just a few trash.
