Where do I start, I've been going to this place for approximately 7 years and without failure they always have what I need. This place is always clean and well stocked. Customer service is always great, the staff is always smiling and willing to help. You may have to wait in line a little too check out in the front though but they kind of resolve that situation by putting a self-checkout which I love and people don't use. I pray they never close this location because it is an asset to the neighborhood. I look forward to seeing the staff in the mornings and evenings when I go to and from work. In my book this is a five star location way better than the CVS located on Christopher Street which is the closest pharmacy to this location.

**EDIT--Appreciate that this was finally fixed--but it should not have taken a public shaming to get someone to take this seriously***....DO NOT GET VACCINATED AT THIS LOCATION. Your information (which will be entered incorrectly in Rite-Aid's internal system) will also never be uploaded onto the Excelsior Pass system. (Google the news articles on this and check Twitter; it's not just me.) I have been waiting since May. And if it is uploaded, it will be wrong. even though I am in the same zip code as this location, they have entered an imaginary address in Harlem for our SHARED zip code. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE EXCELSIOR'S PASS TO ENTER BARS, RESTAURANTS, ETC. IF YOU ARE VACCINATED HERE.

As a worker/commuter in the area, I always go to this Rite Aid or the CVS on Christopher to grab anything I need for the day/week. I had not yet bought any food at this specific location, but thought I'd grab one of those make a pasta in a minute boxed lunch type things. To my dismay, when I was attempting to heat it up at work, I found that the pasta inside was completely molded. I don't know if this was the store's or product makers fault, but considering some of the reviews I read on here, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the store's issue. So just make sure to check ALL your items before you leave - because this was one gross discovery that shocked me.

I called the pharmacist to tell them that they shorted both me and my mother on our prescriptions. I asked the pharmacist to correct the mistake politely and he refused to own up to his own mistake. So now I have to go 5 days without my medication. Completely unacceptable! Controlled substance or not, you are legally required to correct the mistake and give me my missing pills. But no, he accused ME AND MY MOTHER of misplacing the pills. This is very unprofessional and needs to be fixed. This rite aid needs quality pharmacists who actually value their job, not just out to make a paycheck.

I remember going to this place after work from doing a 10-hour shift and the security lady was staring at me and then low-key trying to follow me like I was about to steal something then when you check out the cashier lady has an attitude like you did something to her and they're so lazy that they sit down when they're not supposed to , I'll never go back to this Rite Aid ever in my life if other people are having bad experiences why doesn't the owner or the manager retrain you guys or just fire y'all?

The only I gave this store 1 store is because they don't have they don't provide a -1 stars option. First, the line was out of this world and the 2 cashiers were yapping away. When it's finally my turn at the register, I hear the end of one of their many convo and it's 'stfu so and so', giggles. Unbelievable. Then she starts ringing me and twice she scanned 2 items that were supposed to ring up ONCE. I will never step foot in this store. There are too many stores in this area to settle for this.

Was again here the other night. "Dawn" the cashier called a customer a "F A G G O T T" right in front of me. Hmmm This is NY. Where is this bigoted piece of trash allowed to use this word towards a customer who simply asked for electric shaver? I was so disgusted. The makeover of the place is great. The cashiers need sensitivity training and to leave their white trash bigoted crap in the suburbs. This is the west village, get a clue. Dawn is an ugly fat disgusting. Please Avoid

Can you please confirm your policy on dogs in the pharmacy? I just left there and wondered if I was in a pet store or a pharmacy. Yet I saw no less than 2 dogs. I was told that there was a "no dogs" policy a while ago so I changed to Hudson Square where they have no policy against dogs. Then told that only "service" dogs. These were NOT service dogs. You made a policy, but can't keep the policy. Try to rectify so as to not confuse the customers.

Stellar customer service!!!! I went there to pick up a package from the Amazon locker. As I was crossing the street to get to the store, my phone died :( The manager kindly charged my phone for me so that I could get the code to pick up my package. Every cashier working that Saturday was friendly, kind and very understanding. They went over and above to help someone out. FABULOUS!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This store is a literal life-saver in our neighborhood. I can say without exaggeration that its availability and wide variety of products and pharmacy personnel have been an oasis of life during these difficult pandemic years. Their offering and scheduling of free vaccinations has meant vital and constant security for all its customers. THANK YOU! I wish everyone such a RITE AID

Been a sometime customer here for about 15 years. Great location, very helpful staff, wonderful selection, an expert pharmacist. Clean store. Decent clientele contrasted to the Queens Rite Aid locations I've visited. Yes, here's still a genuine Rite Aid. The weekly circulars handed out locally, naturally demonstrate the bargains to partake.

I called the Pharmacy. After having to listen to an almost 2 minute long blurb on covid it sent to the Pharmacy. It got picked up and I was told could you hold. Seven minutes later it sent from music to ringing. No one answered. Is this customer service.

Staff is so courteous, the store is always clean. The morning staff Jeanette & katherine are so friendly and always willing to help. It's so convenient to do my shopping there, what a great selection and they are so nearby in the neighborhood. 5 Stars!

I can always depend on Rite-Aid to have a helpful staff and to have all of the products I need. I shop at many of these stores around town, and I’ve always been happy with their excellent level of service.

Manager is the worst. Doesn't know what the discounts are advertised, just moves to a different customer, zero mgmt experience. Needs to be replaced asap.

The selection for most product categories is limited to mainstream brands, and check-out is often very slow. There is no self-checkout.
