"A unique opportunity to live at this price in Bromley in a pretty area"
"Lived here for just over 4 years now, beautiful place very well kept, and all the neighbours are really nice and friendly, it's a family park so children are welcome, you have your own parking space, there is a small car park as you come in for visitors, best of both worlds as it's in the countryside but 5 mins from biggin hill by car, there is a bus service after a little walk to the bus stop"
"Tranquil, well managed Park Home estate that has been hugely improved over the years"
"Such a pretty area"
"But it was a pain parking when we went there cause nowhere to park only on main road"
A unique opportunity to live at this price in Bromley in a pretty area. New houses are occasionally sited. The road's speed limit and one-way traffic rule are arbitrarily acknowledged, regrettably, by some, including residents, and their encouraged offspring, too: not just by delivery drivers and the Binmen. Like anywhere, good neighbours affect all, and I've certainly experienced both types: individuals eventually leave. Holding on, mostly, to what it purports to offer , but needs constant vigillence by the truly concerned. ***Update***:2018: BURGLARY of one home. No contact from the owners, the Horstmans, expressing regret. ***Update***: July, 2021: THEFT & VANDALISM: two friends and neighbours of mine, and I, have had a few instances of theft and vandalism collectively in the past two months from the gardens, during the night. CCTV installed. Again, no enquiries by the owners, the Horstmans, made with residents. ***Update***: March, '22: attempted BURGLARY of neighbour's shed: reported to 'Rickwood' 's Park Manageress in an email: no reference made to it in her reply:(Neighbour now visited, though not informed in advance, so might have been out). ***Update***: ROAD CLOSURE UNNOTIFIED: March, '22: whilst the site's owners, the Horstmans, were not responsible for the loss of mains electricity, (generator in use now for nearly 3 weeks), they remain disinterestedly aloof, and again never expressed any personal interest to the Residents about this continuing difficulty personally, or inform, via anyone on site, till several days had passed, when a sheet of paper was delivered: just before ! the electricity bill, for a then non-existent service !, dated to the future !, was hand delivered: proving that money, if not caring enquiries, warrant a doorstep service. Normally, too, we are given advanced notice of our one-and-only one-way road's closure. Up till 5:15 last night there was none; yet, this morning, it was closed for over four hours, to erect scaffolding, (which I should think required prior notice, as it wasn't possible to do so for me, once, as a sporting gesture, when I asked); yet the road closure sign was there this morning. Those car drivers who started to form the queue behind the lorry's boom-box radio in the road, closed for over four hours, were, like me, among those who hadn't been advised the day before.

Tranquil, well managed Park Home estate that has been hugely improved over the years. Picturesque with a good, mostly middle-aged, community. If you do not have a car the bus stop is a 10 minute walk, and buses run every 80 minutes between Orpington and Biggin Hill, but not on Sundays. Great value for a home in a London borough (Bromley)
Such a pretty area. It all looks so well kept and there is adequate visitor parking. Lovely place to visit.
But it was a pain parking when we went there cause nowhere to park only on main road
