Myself & 3 other people went on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We started out with a waitress, I simply asked regarding the salad bar that if I order a meal is the salad bar at $6.99 & when the meal that I order whatever is left can I take it out...well from my question that totally caused a whole big issue apparently, where she said you can't do a meal to take out & get the salad bar at the reduced rate (even though I am paying for a meal ?!?) she said I must eat the meal there, I said well if I don't eat the whole meal are you telling me that I am basically having someone looking to see how much I eat? she said there are cameras all over watching !!! Wait, what??!! She was extremely rude and even after all the meals were ordered she went to the waiter that was there and had a big discussion with him about this apparent issue !!, so after that she didn't serve us but the waiter did, however it was really uncomfortable as it seemed every 5 minutes after the food arrived that he was coming over, even pointed out that here is a plate for the chicken bones for my meal as it was seriously pointed out that I MUST eat some of my chicken since I took the salad bar @ $6.99. First off, I bought a meal, whether I eat it there or opt to take it home the point is I BOUGHT a meal, then to have them hovering over you almost like a parent of a child this was absolutely horrible!! I will absolutely never go back there as a customer should never be treated like that! ****** UPDATE********* After my initial review I was asked to contact info@scores, so I did, I was told that someone will follow up with me after they contact the restaurant, however, guess what?!? Nobody did, I take it MTY who I take it (not sure) owns Scores & others doesn't really take customer's bad experiences seriously & that's too bad as losing clients isn't such a great thing, & honestly when you tell someone that you'll be contacted with a follow up & they don't come through..why bother saying anything if you don't plan on doing so anyways?!? Anyhow, from my horrible restaurant experience to the non follow up, as a customer I will be taking my business elsewhere's, as will my family & friends!

WORST experience ever! Will never go to any Scores in my life! I come for lunch with my mom, we want to order a two leg meal with the apetit salad bar. The waiter told me it is impossible to just order one main course with the apetit salad bar, so we said fine, we will order chicken plus a main course salade bar($16.99). We think the price is bit high but my mom really want some vegetables. Then the waiter told us the salade is not shareable. After that, that waiter comes several times, like every 5 to 10 mins, just to tell us the salad is not shareable! I told him I understand. Then my chicken come. Surprisingly, the chicken only have fries but do not have even one piece of vegetable!! I strongly doubt that Scores is using this way to push customers add the salade bar. We hesitate if we should add another person’s salade, but when I saw my mom’s plate and tasted a bit, I feel that it is not worth to spend extra $7. Then We start to eat our food. My mom took a bowl of vegetable soup, she didn’t like it. But I felt it’s a waste if just throw it away, so I take some. Then the waiter come again! Tell me that I shouldn’t take the food from salad bar. I explained that my mom doesn’t want this soup and I take it because I don’t want to waste. The waiter said no he was watching me and I’ve been keeping eating the salad food. I was so angry and felt insulted! I respected the rule of the restaurant even though I think this rule is ridiculous, but I was still treated like a thief, just because I tasted two bites and don’t want to waste the soup! I was so angry and decided not to follow the stupid rule! I started to eat food in my mom’s plate. Then the waiter came again, said he will let us leave the restaurant and charge me extra money of the salad bar! I’ve never been treated so rudely!!! The chicken is not good also! Dry like it has been reheated for several times! I haven’t been to Scores since the pandemic. And my mom came all the way from China to visit the city I live. I want to give her a great experience and going to Scores is the worst decision I’ve ever made! KEEP AWAY from this restaurant!!!

Went to eat on Friday October 27th, place did not seem too busy. Lots of empty booths. We ordered our food, and after about 30 minutes of waiting my friend went to the bathroom and noticed when she came back that a large hockey team was hidden in a back room. We didn't think anything of it, until after 45 minutes and still no sign of our food. The table across from us made a comment that they were there before us, and were still waiting. Our waitress came back to us at around the 50 minute mark and asked if we wanted her to place the order... ? First of all, what? We had already placed our order with her! We were super confused and she wasn't making much sense, she just made some comment about the hockey team. What do they have to do with our original order not being placed? Our food came after over an hour of waiting - with no comment or apology from any of the staff. Why were we not told when we walked in that there would be a very long wait because there was a massive hockey party? You could tell other tables were annoyed as well. Not sure who runs the place, but you could have at least offered people waiting almost an HOUR+ for their food complimentary salad bar since we were all starving and were not aware our food would take as long as it did. Such a shame.

Good food but we experienced near no-service. This location took forever to open but finally did a few weeks ago. We decided to try it tonight, Saturday August 31st. We were engaged by the hostess and seated immediately (restaurant was about 60% capacity at 8:15-ish). It's actually quite nice inside - nicer than the old Scores that was across from Blue Haven that closed 2 years ago. Our waitress (Latina in her 40s) appeared within 5 minutes to get our drinks and take our orders. We tried the soup and salad bar and were amazed how much variety and how fresh the food was! They have chicken noodle, pea, soup of the day soups AND chili - wow. Then, unfortunately for us - things got worse. Our meals took about 25 minutes to get to our table (from a different server) and we literally "never" saw our waitress again. It was other neighboring servers we had to bother for refills and eventually, our bill. We would have ordered desert but decided to get dollar cones at McD's rather than die of old age waiting for service. It was frustrating because the neighboring tables were all getting great service, so it put a stain on our experience - first impressions matter! The food was good so we'll probably give it another try someday.

The only good part of the meal was that the waitress was pleasant which doesn't always happen. I went with my sister in law and my 2 kids who are under 2. I ordered the club sandwich and half my bread pieces were burnt....the fries are not what they used to be and seemed to be double fried since they were old. I added the soup and salad bar and that was absolutely disgusting, the lettuce looked old so I couldn't even make myself a salad. Then I open one of the containers and said not sure why they have gravy here but ok.... the waitress walks by and says that's CHEESE for the nachos... it was BROWN, ew! I decided to have some of the avocado and pasta salads and I've spent the last 3 days SICK as a dog. What an absolute shame because I was so excited to go to scores again always loved it as a kid. My bill was 30 bucks and McDonald's would of been better for a 3rd of the price.

We asked for a relatively quiet spot as when we went there were quite a few families with young kids. Got seated not too far away from a young family but thankfully they must have been almost done when we got there as they were gone pretty quickly. My only 2 (small) complaints in terms of the sald bar is that they took away the labels for the salad dressings. And they could maybe use plates/bowls that are a little deeper for soup as I found it a bit of a challenge to get back to our table while carrying my soup without spilling any! luckily my mom saw I was having problems and took it off me.

this restaurant has turned into a joke. Been there before and it was always a favorite for my kids, but really never going back. No atmosphere, food is barely eatable and to top it off, while the whole restaurant was empty, the cook decided to bring his meal right next to our booth, sat there without any shoes on, and listened to his phone on loud speaker the whole time. I mean, when the whole restaurant is empty...it was totally ridicules. Food took forever to get there and you can just tell no one cared in this place. I'm not one to usually leave comments, but bad food, bad service and just lack of just general respect was just unacceptable for myself and my family. It was not enjoyable and honestly a really horrible experience.

Scores is one of my favorite restaurants. I have been going to this location since it first opened on a fairly regular basis but not any more. Ordering online is easy, and the meals are usually ready at the chosen pick-up times. The problem is with the meals themselves. The last four orders I'm either missing sauces or getting the wrong one. Recieved 2 chicken tenders when the minimum is 3 and 3 is what I ordered and was charged for, and burnt toast on my club sandwich. And about those tenders, I've had nuggets bigger then the ones I've had lately. Just my opinion but charging the fries to the ones they have now was a mistake. I understand they want to make money but I'm not getting my money's worth so unfortunately going back doesn't interest me at this time.

Prices have been creeping up at all Score's locations. This new Score's loses some points because of the cacophony caused by the high empty ceilings. Very hard to carry a conversation especially when there are groups of kids. Food is generic MTY Food Group grade with no surprises, very predictable catering to mundane palettes. Just makes 4 stars. Revised (June 2022) Boy the pandemic was not kind to this location. Had not been in about 2 years. The salad bar lost all of its hit dishes and was stocked with only the cheapest. The waitress advised us that because of the low attendance (post Covid) they are not putting out the more expensive dishes in case of waste. The price is also quite a bit up on the salad bar with retracted selection! Not impressed.

Wife wanted to come here for the salad bar. Unfortunately it's an extra cost now on top of a main course. Had difficulties getting into the restaurant since the front door was jammed. Restaurant staff had to work on getting it opened. Felt bad for wait staff since they were short handed that day. Food was ok. Rotisserie chicken was fine. However my son ordered the children's pasta with butter. He even said it was bland. When I tried it, tasted they cooked the pasta without salted water. Couldn't taste any butter either.

Food was ...decent. Partner and I got Club Sandwich to share, good portion for sharing, so many fries on the side. Unfortunately though, I got a bone in the chicken meat and almost chocked as well, we got a carrot cheese cake for almost 10$, The display case with the cakes looked absolutely mouth watering and the portions looked well worth the price. Unfortunately, we were given the tiniest, driest piece they had, barly cold. It almost looked like a piece someone else didn't finish and was just re packaged for us. Terrible.

My friend and I went for dinner Saturday August 5th. The food was absolutely amazing, Nathalie our server was so pleasant, attentive and polite. We've been to the old Scores but their menu and food has improved tenfold. Would highly recommend it. I had the teriyaki chicken with rice, melts in your mouth.

Scores Pointe-Claire is alright for me. It is a decent restaurant and it has changed. The Pros: The service is decent and alright. The waitress we had was nice and alright and kind. The chicken is alright and good and the ribs as well. Well seasoned and the taste was alright. The Cons: THe booths are a bit smaller and tighter than most. It is a bit pricey for the quality. I would like to try their salad bar. But heard from many that may charge you for that. Overall the quality has changed and the restaurant needs to change everything from A to Z. I would reccomend.

No matter how much they tried to convince us otherwise the chicken was not fresh. It smelled and tasted sour. I took one bite of potato salad from the salad bar, it also tasted sour I am not one to complain have a look at my reviews. They charged us full price instead of offering any discount to rectify the situation. That is the reason for my 3 stars. If the chicken was "marinated on Saturday" as we were told, left in the fridge no wonder it tastes sour on Tuesday night. Anyways my son's wrap was alright chicken from the rotisserie.. and daughters frozen chicken fingers were all right.. I am not gonna return sorry. Thanks for the effort.

We just dined at Scores on St. Jean Blvd. For lunch. I had a club with dark meat. The chicken was very dry. My wife had the chicken breast which was also very dry. Even the fries were dry hard and crumbly. We were both very disappointed. It felt like the chicken had been reheated too many times. We also ordered the salad bar. That was very good. The waitress was very pleasant but I will never order chicken there again. I would go back for the salad bar meal.

Good and quality service. Food is pretty tasty. Prices are a bit high, but overall dishes are big, so you fell well fed. Location is easily accessible and has free parking in front. Spacious to have a family party or have some time with colleagues for lunch. They speak both french and english. Ordered Chicken Fajitas. Could not even finish it as it is pretty big. From the picture, it looked smaller. My colleagues had Ribs & Chicken and Mini burgers with Salad Bar access.

They've redone their menu, very similar to St-Hubert (that's not a compliment). 6$ to add salad to a meal, even kids, is a little excessive. Prices are typical, 15-20$ per meal on average, +6$ or more for the salad bar. They have a kids menu (10 and under). Clean restaurant (it just opened so everything is new). Service was excellent: quick and courteous. Didn't take long to get our food and everything was well cooked. As you can see by the pictures, presentation is mediocre. The "salad" on the fish and chips was laughable. My children enjoyed the chicken nuggets and chicken burger.

Always enjoyed Scores! Went in on Aug 4 for dinner around 6 pm. Restaurant was empty. Only 3 tables had customers. Other half of Restaurant closed down. 2 waitresses working. Waited 20 min to get waited on. Ordered dinner & a glass of white each. No white wine available. Only roses. Got up & left. Terrible service. Very disappointed. Later Scores!!

This place has been opened for about 4 weeks. It nicer than older one they closed. The salad bar is impressive so much better than the old one. There are many choices on the salad. Next time I eat there, I may just take the salad bar it's that impressive. The menu is different. You can choose the salad bar for $12.99 than add your meat choices chicken leg add $2.00, chicken breast $2.75 half rack rib$ 4.25 and so on. That is some of the things on. I had the salad bar and breast of chicken also came with the chicken choices of sides-baked potato and other choices. I will go again.

If you want best service and fresh mouthwatering food you gotta try this place . I had best experience dinning in,,, the food was hot and fresh ( French fries too) and the service was 10 outta 10 . Place is clean and hygiene too no funny smell and stuff AND staff always greet you with a smile which is must if you are dinning in with your family cuz smile makes a big difference in everything you do :)

I've been going to score for years. Today however we ordered chicken and salmon on a plank I think that the salmon took longer to cook but the chicken must have waited. It was quite cold, fries and all. Not only that, my wife said is that a half chicken it's much smaller than usual. I think they ran over to maxi, and bought a chicken while we waited. Now I'm not so sure I want to go back. I told the waitress but it was too late. When this kind of thing happens they need to give a coupon or something to make sure there is a next time.

I am very disappointed for the price. I had chicken strips with fries - $20 with tax and tip. The cardboard box would have tasted better than the old, overcooked, dry, cold fries. The chicken strips are all dough with barely any chicken. Half filled container of tasteless coleslaw. Our family eats take out often but after 3 tries, I think we will remove Scores from our list. Update: April 2022 - Gave it another try and with the exception of the coleslaw, the chicken strips have improved!

Despite the power outage when I got in the restaurant, it was definitely worth waiting for the electricity to come back! Food was amazing! I had the lunch special: chicken brochette, rice and fries! I was at the new St-Jean's 1 week ago, Aug 21st and and liquid was drizzling in us, out table and seats and maybe our food as well. The management refused to move us to another table when we informed them saying there were no free tables. Tried to post pics but aren't up loaded. Since corporate is ignoring this possible health issue I have informed the City of Montreal's Food & Environment inspectors about this.

I'm not much for negative reviews buy I have to be honest. We ordered those chef specials like most rotisserie offer. Meat was dry. All of them. The fries over done, mash potatoes bland. The chicken was sorta taste less. They could put way more spice/flavor to the rotisserie. Way too much competition in the chicken game and they are missing the mark. Only reason I did not give 1 star is cause the ribs are good.

I specifically ordered a baked potato as a side but got a mountain of fries instead which I did not want. Word to the wise: when ordering takeout, open up all the packages before you leave the restaurant to ensure you got exactly what you ordered. It seems that the customer has to do the quality control instead of the restaurant.

This place never disappoints. The chicken, whether it be the leg or the breast, is alwaysoist and never dried out. If you are not picky as to which part of the bbq you have and you going for lunch, have the Chef's Choice. What a great deal. Dessert and a drink is included. Lots to eat. Add the salad bar for a small extra and you have lots and lots to eat. Enjoy.

JUst called the store an the manager hang-up the line and refused to give me his name. ALl of that when I just asked how come the prices are still the same when the salada bar and the fruit bar are closed!!! He was very rude. Tried to reach the hed office, and non of the extenssions work, always voice message. Is that's the way you trat your customers?!!!!

I ordered a pound of ribs for delivery last evening, it arrived promptly, and the telephone ordering was polite and effective. However when the ribs arrived it looked like a 1/2 pound, I weighed it on my kitchen scale and it was .7 of a pound, I called and was told sorry, but that was all. Disappointing, and the ribs were not up par. Make my own next time.

I guess I'm a bit sour when it came to this location as the soup and salad bar was very small with very few options. The soup and salad bar at other locations has always been a home run for me and this locations fell short. The night was still awesome and filled with good times.

Went there last night and it was great. The ribs were superb and the service professional. They have only been open for two weeks and have already worked out some quirks. The salad bar plus chicken/ribs is an amazing deal. Spoke to one of the owners Archie and he really cares about quality. Absolutely worth the trip to this restaurant.

There was not enough wait staff booked. The waitress we did have was rude and not friendly. Food was poor. Processed chicken and processed cheese and was overpriced. Bathrooms were gross and dirty.

St Hub who? This is Score's 2.0 Great menu, great salad bar, great server. Wish I remembered her name. All I know it's she was on point and super fit. Clearly she's dedicated. Electric delivery cars... Next level. This is definitely not the same Scores I used to know. Highly recommend!

Great place for lunch, friendly waitress and tasty chicken sandwich and Portuguese chicken. I subbed my fries for poutine and it was so good. I'll be back for more on my next weekday lunch.

Portions are now smaller, food was not that hot. Never seen such a small quarter chicken leg,...one of the meals was a chicken poutine and the cheese was so cold, the whole plate was cold. No longer worth the price.

Had dinner tonight at the new Scores and loved the salad bar and food! It was a very busy night and our server Stella was friendly and attentive. This was our best service ever - we received our food quickly and it was hot which was awesome! Thank you Stella!

This place is great! As a vegetarian married to a chicken lover restaurants can be complicated but we finally found a place where both of us leave happy and full. The beyond meat burger went beyond my expectations! We will come back and bring people with us!

Ordering online for pickup was easy . Requested a specific pickup time and order was made available as I walked in. Food quality was excellent and competitively priced . We ordered chicken and ribs. Both meals were very tasty . Would certainly go back .

Very friendly and attentive staff. Thierry made our family dinner out even better. Fajitas were delish! Could not even finish my plate so took the carrot cheesecake to go. Can't wait to try it. Will definitely be back when we are back in the area.

First off young man serving us was great. Wasn't my choice to go there. Frozen fries in a poutine 12$$$ ??? And cold?? Come on. Chicken wings. Omg. Dry recooked how many times? Its a buffet style restaurant with no buffet. What's the point?

Totally not satisfied with the quality of food. Giving this restaurant a 1 star is being more than generous. Not worth it. The food was horrible and the management even worse!!! Will never go back there again. I would NOT recommend.

Skip the dishes made a mistake on my club sandwich and i called scores and they immediately helped me as I could not eat the food due to an allergy. Their prompt service and resolution will keep me ordering from there regularly!

Very disappointed, ordered on line at 6pm to have it delivered for 7:45 new years eve. but at 8pm when my ordered did not show up, I called, only to be told that they are closed, Happy new years to you to scores - Never again

This place is new and it was great. The staff was friendly, and it feels very comfortable. I had the salad bar as my meal and it was amazing. It was so fresh and they had a lot of choices. I will be going back there for sure!

Didnt even get a chance to try the food, it was the worst service even with a reservation, we ended up leaving and grabbing fast food.

Absolutely tasty, great customer service, helpful and friendly staff, the managerial staff is absolutely inclined towards providing the best customer satisfaction. Their desserts are to die for. Totally recommended!

Salad bar is full of appetizers not vegetables. Why is there salsa or tzatziki in a salad bar. Why no sliced tomatoes. Not a very good selection. Waited about three minutes before being acknowledged.

Worst steak I ever ordered. I asked for rare, it came well done. So they cooked me a second one. It came rare, but just had a lousy taste to it.

Bad experience, the chicken was dry and not fresh, as if it had been reheated, with an open buffet, and there were flies moving around on the salad bar, and it was not worth the prices we paid

We went there today around 8 pm our waitress was super nice and poliet we loved her so much. She recomand the ribs and it was amazing. We will for sure go back for (Stella) and the food.

Mediocre food, but didn't expect anything amazing. They sat us in the only area that had no AC. The waitress clearly hated her job and took it out on us. The hostess was nice atleast.

We ordered supper last night for 6:45PM. Confirmed order received. Paid online. No delivery? We waited 45 minutes, I tried calling. I waited 18 minutes on the phone? So disappointed!

Our sports team had a great meal using the room in the back. All the kids and their parents enjoyed a good meal. Thank you!

Customer service was a bit slow but so are the times. Salad and soup bar was great as well as the Salmon Dinner.
