I went to the kids summer movie program yesterday with my two grand children. The tickets only $2.00 person because of the kids summer program. Total $6.00. I purchased the kids meal which included pop corn. Small pack of candy.and icy or slushy. Cost $7.54 per person. I personally think it should be $5.00 per person. Everybody know how cheap pop corn is and when you pop it you can feed a lot of people off one box. I never understand why theater charge so much for pop corn. I wasn't able to use any of my senior discount. Not Even my AARP discount. The server said they don't use it on concession. I can see not using it on the movie tickets cause they were $2.00 already due to summer program. I spent $6.00 for movie and $16.00 for refreshments total. Total $22.00 . Bathroom was clean. My sever was not personable but wasn't rude. This was on a Wednesday that he served me. The kid crowd hadn't come yet. It was a calm atmosphere. Second review: I went that same week on Tuesday but my grand kids and I didn't get to see the movie because of seatings they had left was not to our liking so we purchased our tickets and came back Wednesday. Grant served us on Tuesday. He was very helpful and personable. It was a stressful situation. Movie filled with kids and he still handle himself professional. Wished I could get him to wait on me everytime I go.

Would give zero stars if I could, and more than likely never return. A seemingly frazzled employee ran into issues completing a transaction and received assistance from another employee to finish it, meanwhile he goes to another register, helps someone who just walked in and THEN calls a patron out of line from behind my party to have a full personal conversation with him and another employee, and then calls my party over to wait behind the person who was initially behind us. Once the additional conversational employee finishes his talking, he went around to the other side of the counter and hid, not offering to help us or even acknowledge our wait. Not to mention the initial employee proceeds to mess THAT transaction up and then when he gets to us, he tells us the movie we wanted to purchase tickets for had already started so we had to go to another theater (properly operational) to see a later showing. Unnecessary time wasted which led to more of an inconvenience than catching a movie should incur. The theater was not at all busy for this inexplicable poor service to be received early afternoon.

I can't believe what I just went through. I went up to the center concessions. Waiting my turn. While the family in front of me is being helped. They walk away and so did the clerk. I am standing there for a bit. Manager walks by to help a different employee. She noticed me and the original girl never came back. I hope the cameras are working and upper people can see this. Poor organization. And I'm now at my seat and the recliner portions goes up and down but the left side is estimated 6 inches lower. Someone broke it. I will up load a pic of this as soon as the movie is done. By the way. I'm at the top row. And no seats available till the lower sections.so dissatisfied. I gave 5 stars 5 years ago. Now a 1 star. Ask yourself is it eve worth going out for your birthday and this happens. I hate leaving bad reviews. In times like this all corporations and small businesses relay on consumers to keep there doors open. Word of mouth can hurt as well as help. You never know who will walk through your doors. Can you tell the difference. I know I cant.

If I could give no stars I would, upon entry it's densy looking and has a smell. Then we went into room 7 where mission impossible was playing they had a hole in the roof and it was leaking water and when it did it gave off a smell like someone used the bathroom on they self, and it was loud over the movie. I went to tell the manager and asked for my money back admitted to me that they knew it was leaking and said they had buckets I then asked y would you still play movies in that room knowing this and the smell . It was bad. She said no one complained about the smell huh? The smell is Mir the issue here it's the leaking that isn't good. Someone could have gotten hurt. Then she gave me movie tickets that I have to take back cause they expired 2022 like come on now really ma'am

Absolutely horrible staff and management. Over 40 minutes early for a movie and had to give seats up because they double sold our seats. The other individuals showed up 25 minutes late and we were asked to leave instead of the ones that were 25 min late. This was after buying two diff movie times because they also messed up the times. Only bought there because the app was messing up which I was told by management was my fault for THERE app not working. Reached out to Grant and Nathaniel for assistance- NO help, solution, or attention to the matter. Was actually given a “well what do you want me to do attitude” after I spent 80 bucks and watched NO movie? Waiting on follow up from corporate. Absolutely horrible place!

I always enjoy an evening at this movie theater, only this time I saw a mice, which looked to have been running from the worker at the concession stand. When I mentioned to her that i saw a mice and asked if she did not see it because it looks to be running from her. I pointed out to her where it went, but I take it. From her response, she knew about the theater having mice. I just know not to put my purse or popcorn down on the floor. Now, I truly enjoy seeing Mr Adam at the door. He is so friendly and pleasant to talk to. He is really dedicated to his job post. He reminds me of my grandfather, sharing a smile that is truly needed for the evening after a hard working day. Thank you, Mr Adam.

Zero stars! This place has gone downhill me and my family use to love it here but had a very bad experience this past Saturday. While walking into the theater to see our movie we noticed that it was extremely hot in theater 6 so we immediately left and went to the manager who went to see what was going on came back 30 minutes later and said it was broken only to find out from other employees they have been known about the issues well in advance. Others were complaining as well. I’m extremely disappointed and will never come back here again! Why would you sell tickets and not let the customer know that it was this hot inside the theater! I have a medical condition and this is unacceptable!

  • Quincy Disney Vegan

I love this place -- all Regal locations and their workers who are VERY accommodating and hospitable! We should be able to tip them! My favorite thing about Regal Cinemas in general is how unexpectedly Vegan friendly they are! They use sunflower oil as the butter for their popcorn ❤️❤️❤️❤️ AND their Regal Crown Unlimited Pass absolutely ROCKS! It gives you free popcorn and soda when you first signup and qualify for it and discounts on return visits to the theater concession stand which include upgrades, more potential free popcorn and sodas (when you qualify with subsequent points collected), and discounted online merchandise. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's hot in here !! They have their HVAC down? I have 3 hours left in this hell hole. Also, when an employee sweeps the floor and then offers to get you food without a smile, it is not a good start to a movie experience. God, it's hot in here. Is that why the employee commented, "Hilarious," before asking what I wanted. Did the heat turn him into a grumpy person? Also, a woman lost her phone and wanted to call the police because it was still connecting to her Bluetooth earpiece. The two employees looked dazed when she asked for the police!! Good luck, they have a 2.5-hour response in this area.

  • Jeffrey Small

Good alcohol selection, better prices than Concord Mills, lots of variety in terms of movie and snack selection. They have the motorized recliners with cup holders and tables, and they have a large number of screens and a good parking lot. Being part of the Regal club app thing is pretty awesome though. You can earn points with purchases and spend them on other movies or concessions. The only thing that’s a little inconvenient is they close the concession stand at like 10:30 or 11:00 pm, so if you’re trying to use your free popcorn or free drink refill (or get more beer) you’re out of luck.

  • Leesah M. Connor

Took my kids to see the Little Mermaid and hadn’t visited this location in years. There was no one up front in the booths to purchase tickets from so I had to do this inside at the concession stand, which wasn’t a problem. Having this option was an all in one option as I was able to get my tickets and popcorn for the kids at the same time. It was a busy opening weekend so the staff was busy and a bit agitated, but it’s to be expected due to the share volume of people. Popcorn was everywhere, but again lots of kids were present. I will definitely revisit Starlight again.

  • Raymond White

First of all, the staff is very friendly. Tickets are very easy to get whether it's at the theater or online. The chairs at the theater are super comfortable! They are oversized chairs and recline with the press of a button. There's also a swinging tray in addition to the cup holders. They have a program to where you can pay $18 a month for unlimited movies. Two tickets generally cost $18. when my son is a little older, I will get the $18 per month subscription so that I can take him several times a month and save money. I would highly recommend this theater!

  • Nelka Holland

There is a young man at the concessions stand that was VERY helpful with redeeming my rewards, should have gotten his name....the auditorium we got to view the movie was 12 and even tho I loved loved the seats because that is one of the reasons like Regal, you are too far away from the person that you are with. So if you are the hugging type or want to be close to the person are with this auditorium 12 is not for you. Apart from that the viewing experience was great as always and as I said I love the seats very comfortable. Are there is plenty parking.

  • B3S Tanga

This theatre has gone downhill since COVID. No box office, movies and movie times not listed, movie titles not listed outside the individual theater, people can preselect seats online which is not fair for anyone who might decide to see a movie walking in, and the prices are absolutely outrageous. The reserved seating is the worst idea in the history of theaters. We used to go to 2-3 movies a month, now we may go a couple of times a year. I’m hoping the movie theater industry completely collapses. Seeing a movie at a theater really sucks today!

  • Matt Citrano

Proactively friendly staff, decent prices. Unfortunately it seems like there is not enough material isolating each auditorium’s sound. I was looking forward to viewing “Suzume” here, but left a few minutes into the movie since I could hear too much of another movie’s audio from the auditorium playing next door. It was too distracting to enjoy, especially since Suzume has some quiet moments which rely on silence. I would not recommend watching a suspenseful or horror film here unless you don’t mind having another movie’s audio play alongside it.

  • Melanie Grace

BEWARE… purchased tickets online in advance. Arrived 10 minutes prior to movie scheduled time. Our seats were unavailable due to overbooking. The manager was apologetic. The price of the movie tickets were refunded but there is a non refundable “booking” fee. The fee was $3 which is minimal but it’s the principal that a customer is responsible for the mistake. Not only were we embarrassed by walking into the full theater trying to sit in our assigned seats that were not there but we had to pay the booking fee. I

  • Bea Low

Very clean and nice theater the reclining seats were amazing had a lot of fun a great family friendly place to go and see movies. The bathrooms were clean as well and well kept. Not a moment I wasn't pleased with service. At one point a man wouldn't refill my popcorn because he was "busy" and asked me to go to the other side with another worker. I didn't mind but he seemed to be not busy at all just wandering around the register. But I was immediately helped by another person. Overall great service 9/10

  • Josie Beaulieu

My friend and I went to get some candy towards the beginning of our movie at 10:50pm tonight. When we went to checkout one employee was nice and politely said they were closed. My friend and I said “oh okay” and put our candy back. Out of no where an employee with black hair and piercings barged into me and then reprimanded my friend for placing the candy in the wrong spot on the rack. She nudged me out of the way and sarcastically said “Thanks” when I walked away.

  • Keith Shuler

My son's and I saw the new Spiderman and it was really good. We bought tickets online to avoid the line and walked right inside to our seats after having my qr code scanned. The seats were very comfortable but the only issue I have is the temperature. It was cold enough for my legs and face to get numb. Why the temp was so low I don't know. But if you visit, taking a blanket might not be a bad idea. LOL! You think I'm joking? You've been warned!

  • sree bablu

This movie place is good. Better prices than other theaters and it has full reclining seats. You can literally recline seats to a flat position. You can watch movie just like leaving on your bed. Sounds quality is good too. I have watched movie in screen 6. It's screen is little disappointing. We can see pixels over screen I have never seen it anywhere before. If you are okay with that you can experience movies at this place with cheaper prices.

  • Will Montgomery

Big, comfortable seats that recline. So much so that I fall asleep when I take my kids to watch movies that I'm not interested in watching. You select your seats when you purchase your tickets, so you know exactly where you will be sitting. Theater is clean and the staff is friendly. The concession stand is a bit slow, so plan to wait in line for a while during peak times. Overall a good experience, and it is our go-to theater for movies.

  • Space Bound

The movie was good. I didn't have any audio problems like some of the other reviews said. For concessions, they only have jalapeño cheese for the nachos; they didn't have any pretzels and no Buncha Cruncha. Those were only the ones I asked for. During the movie, however, a rodent (I couldn't tell if it was a rat or a mouse) crawled under my girlfriends recliner. I don't think we'll be going there again. I was in theater 8.

  • Miranda Mansfield

I went to watch Peter Rabbit 2 and ended up all by myself in the theatre, very enjoyable! The thetare was very clean and the seats are nice. Big reclining ones, very relaxing! Due to COVID, food options were limited to just candy, popcorn, and Nachos, but I love Nachos so it was a win for me. They also had fountain drinks and alcohol available. The staff was very pleasant as well. Great experience, I will be back!

  • Jason Jedlikowski

The regal starlight AMC theater is amazing for a few reasons. The staff is reasonably on top of cleanliness which is a concern. Nowadays. I can have three drinks and during the course of a movie how many more would I need? They also feature the newest and best movies available at the time and never leave me wanting. Thanks for being local, available, and responsible with cleanliness.

  • Kara Hauser

I never would've guessed this is an amazing theater from the outside! The redlining seats are awesome - single rather than side by side like some of the other theaters with recliners. We were able to scan our tickets from our phones and head right in. The place was pretty clean, including the bathrooms! I will definitely return if I ever get another night away for a movie. :)

  • Calum King

Although the outside was a little odd looking at first, the inside was really neatly designed and the employees were nice to order with. The movie seats for theater 4 which was where I watched Spider Man No Way Home had recliners that were really nice. It has a much more low-key feel than some other Regal Cinemas I've been too and it was a great time. I'd definitely go again.

  • Rachel

I really like this theater and it normally is my favorite to go to but the removed the tray tables on the seats now and the last couple times I have been here the seats have seemed in need of repair. The bathrooms also have a lot of broken toilet paper roll holders and overall feels like it is really in need of maintenance and repairs. Hoping it improves in the near future

  • SonnY Arias

It's not the nicest theater in town but it's by far the best. Idc what anyone says. That recliner seating is world class, the popcorn is always busting as the kids say and nobody ever goes here, so, as an introvert....usually nobody in the theater. Seats are nice big and comfy. Only the real people from clt know this is the best place to watch a movie. Nothing fancy.

  • Daniel Mehraban

Zero Star if possible. Such a rude and disrespectful manager “Nathaniel” we came to late. We only get chance to watch almost the last 25 minutes of movie. I asked him to get my refund if possible. But he treated me very unprofessionally and disrespectfully. He was not able to respond to my request friendly and properly. Does not qualify to begin in that position.

  • Ryu Fan

Love this for the Regal Unlimited Plan. Staff is cordial. Some of the leather seats are worn and the bathrooms are dated and need huge renovation but due to proximity of the theatre and overall convenience it’s worth coming to. No thrills at this theatre but still nice! I’m friendly with all the staff and they all deserve major kudos

  • Curtis London

Since the first time I went to this theater I found a happy place a hideout and comfortable time killer. I love this place. Now that being said. Movies are expensive and I normally only go for matinee shows but my ticket nachos and a twisted tea 30 bucks! Am I missing something here? Did I mention I love this place and the recliners

  • Ryan Littles

Accidentally bought Era Tour tickets to the wrong theater… on the opposite side of Charlotte, BUT glad I did. This theatre was clean, had great staff, and had a yummy pizzeria across the street. The outside of the building looks a little old but almost vintage - I wouldn’t change it! Way to go Regal Starlight! Shine on!!!!!!!

  • Sheri Teague

Theater was hot. Food was lousy, and there were 45 minutes of commercials before the show ever started!! The Theater wasn't cleaned and the lights were not on 35 minutes before the the movie! Had to use light on cellphone to find seat and that was before ANYTHING was on the big screen!!!! Not going back here again!

  • Tashona Winslow

Hubs bought tickets online so we easily scanned in upon arrival. Not too busy on the night we went (Thursday night) which was nice and I really appreciated the extra space and comfort the recliners in the theater provided. The Woman King was excellent and I'm looking forward to the next movie I get to see there.

  • Rob Rose

One of the best values in town. Plenty of amenities and concessions. Best used with the Regal App. Plus you earn rewards! Comfortable chairs, great digital screens and sound. Everything you want from a modern theatre with no pretense. Biggest detractor is the parking lot. Watch where you're going for sure!

  • Nebulasnow

My favorite movie theater that's nearby me. Always have nice people and good popcorn, they have a good assortment of candies. My favorite that I saw was chocolate covered cookie dough bites. The theaters are always clean and the place is never extremely packed, so it's a great place for seeing movies.

  • Luvleeh Poetiklocks

Love this theater. It's perfect for solo date nights ... you can grab dinner across the way at Sushi Queen then come here for a good movie... always get the popcorn... so fun and seating is comfortable. I love how they recline. Wasn't too packed when I went ND honestly never truly is. Always clean.

  • Lewis Bragdon

Recliners here actually recline unlike AMC Concord Mills Mall where recliners only recline about 25%. I prefer this theater even though it's more of a drive. Costs less than AMC Concord Mills Mall also. Generally shorter lines and less wait times for concessions as well. CCW friendly.

  • Faith

If you're looking for total comfortablity, the recliner seats are the best! The theater wasn't crowded at all, considering we went on a Saturday afternoon. It was also very clean. Sound system ah-mazing. I just struggled with watching Avatar in 3D. I'm too old for 3D & glasses …

  • J T

Lazy boy style seats! Fairly comfortable for those long movies. The sound system wasn't AWESOME, but it definitely kept my attention. Real 3d is a bit clunky but overall it was not a horrible experience. Very, very, very cost prohibitive...$150 for 4 people with drinks and such

  • Lisa Stansfield

Went to see Transformers. The theater was unfortunately warm. Was hoping it was cool for how hot it was outside. The main issue was the sound quality. My speaker at home sounds better. My seat was barely working. I’ll stick to AMC! I use to prefer starlight. Not anymore!

  • Eric Hairston

Went to go see saw x today and out of the corner of my eye I see something briefly appear and then disappear… it was a little mouse eating popcorn… I spent the remainder of the movie looking for the creature.. they have mice!!! How disgusting I will never go there again.

  • William Vaux

The popcorn is really big, which is nice - so are the drinks. It's in a pretty convenient place for UNCC students. It looks like the Pizzaplex in the newest FNAF game, which is neat. I've seen two movies here, and enjoyed it both times. The whole place is very clean.

  • Kipp Crone

Good local place to see a movie. They offer online(pick your seat options), for tix purchase. The seats are the reclining type. Weeknights are the best for me. Can be pretty busy and loud during the weekend. Not everyone has manners.(if you know what I mean) Enjoy!

  • Zhee Zhee

Stand-alone movie theater with a huge parking lot, renovations that include comfortable reclining seats and accessible aisle spacing. There is a neighborhood WalMart and a QT close by, making this a good location for some to gas up and run errands after a movie.

  • Beth M

I'm pretty sure our theater wasn't cleaned between showings and they took the tables off of the seats. We spent an astronomical amount of money to go to a matinee. It took longer to get our tickets and concessions because they had one poor guy doing both.

  • Sean Keeley

This was a fun experience! My fiancee and I watched Avatar: The Way of Water and it was a lovely experience. The 3D glasses were brand new and the seats were comfortable. The movie theater was clean and staff was straight to the point.

  • R Law

This was the worst Cinema I've ever been to. The staff were rude, the carpet was sticky to where our shoes we're falling off, the prices were very expensive and they have things on the menu that they don't actually have available.

  • Jelly Araujo

Nice seats that recline and a lil table to set your snacks and popcorn. Nice movie screen. The concession stand doesn't have Reese's pieces, but other snacks. Kinda pricey, but worth the memories with family, kids, and friends.

  • Sandy Steiss

First time here! Watched Bosch series premiere. Sadly, there were only 7 people in the theater! I was hoping for a really full room. The recliners were very comfortable. Plenty of arm room, and it was very cozy venue.

  • Sharon Doggett

I went for a 12:50 showing of the latest Jurassic Park movie and was satisfied all around! The theater was neat, the bathroom was clean, the popcorn was fresh, the associates were pleasant and the movie was AWESOME!

  • Tamiki V.

Me and my son came today to see The Bad Guys got popcorn and drink and tickets only 32.00 n the staff was so nice and helpful. Still watching movie so we let u know how it is after we get out of here. So far good!!

  • Jamie Smart

Clean theater with very friendly staff. I've been here numerous times and have always had a positive experience. Most recently I took my daughter to see the My Little Pony Movie - she loves the reclining seats.

  • Angela Happel

First visit post COVID and it looks to me like they kept up this theater well. Bathrooms were clean, recliners in the theater were in good shape. Concessions moved quickly. This will remain our go to theater.

  • C

I'm literally sitting in the theater 40 mins after the movie was supposed to start and there's nothing on the screen and no one has had the decency to tell us there's a problem. Communication goes a long way.

  • Ruben Salazar

Great. Theater is nice and people working there are very friendly. I like going to this theater, seats are comfortable. I think on the outside it could definitely use a face-lift but inside it is very nice

  • I M

Went to the matinee yesterday. I was pleasantly impressed on how clean looking and smelling the bathroom was. (An odd post but so worth mentioning) the rest of the theater was also clean. Great Job!

  • Sonia Johnson

Regal Starlight is absolutely perfect clean and Just Nice to seat in a theater comfortable and the movie "Beast " was excellent. Oh! Yes the online service to purchase the ticket is user friendly.

  • Daniel Tuomey

There is no security at this theater and the few staff members that were present were very young. A group of teenagers kept coming in and out of the theater talking loudly and refused to be quiet.

  • Jessica Kamani

Cute theater, not as new as I thought it was. Chairs were good. Recliner style. Not the best options for concessions, but it's better than nothing at all. Staff was all very nice and attentive.

  • ranjith d

Looks old, we booked the tickets online and the chair us broke when we went there. Disappointed a bit as they should block those seats from reserving, however they gave a pass for a movie.

  • Wendy J

Crowded and understaffed for the event. Long lines for concessions so come early. Beer in tall cans and several on draft. Nice seats. Would return only if i was on that side of town.

  • Brandon Williams

It's a nice and clean theater, I've visited prior, and after its temporary closing during the covid pandemic. However, it just needs more helpful staff available as before.

  • keykey hair_dezign

I gave a four cause I forgot my jacket...lol...seats are leather a go back just push button to the left. It was 9$ for one person but I enjoyed myself and the movie

  • David Negron

This theater is like a time capsule of what it was like to go to the movies in the late 90’s / early 2000’s. The seats were very large and comfortable though!

  • Wendy Hardman

Went to see super Mario movie yesterday. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The theater and bathroom were very clean. Seats were comfy!

  • Anuj Abhishek

Wrnt to see Avatar - the way of water(2 D). Very comfortable, fully reclining seats. Very well-kept theatre and pretty much affordable, too.

  • April Grant

Needs an update, but since movie theaters are barely hanging on I don't expect that anytime soon. Otherwise, a good place to watch a film.

  • Shani Rodgers

Friendlier staff. Seating needs repairs. Some seats have rips, others don't work (recliner option). I do hope they adapt a broader menu.

  • Alden Grant

We love this theater and it will be our new go to. Seats were really comfy. Popcorn smelled awesome-- even though we didn't have any.

  • Laith Almasri

Chair isn't that comfortable, but stuff is nice. The screen size is good, and sounds is that high quality for theatre

  • Billy Quick

Found this theater on an overnight stay in Charlotte NC. The theater was clean and the employees were very nice.

  • Geoff Tucker

Nice, clean theaters with reclining seats. Lots of choices on snacks and drinks, including beers and seltzers.

  • Kalit Atl

Good theater. The recliner seats could use some upkeep but still do the job. Staff is always friendly.

  • 2dope 4ya

Very old fashioned but with some semi-modern adjustable chairs. It was very nice in there and clean

  • Tonya Morris

My husband and I went there to watch Fast X. That movie was good. Nice place with recliner chair.

  • Zeke Boone

Great place to watch a movie. Stays clean for the most part. Sometimes the chair won't recline.

  • Shirley Hunter

I enjoyed the movie. The theater overall didn’t stand out. The staff didn’t seem to be friendly

  • Yvette “Chap Smith” Smith

The theater was alright, it needed to be cleaned. The staff was good with the children!

  • Brenda Tart

Great sound, not too loud, not too cold, thank you, clean, very nice staff!

  • Ronald Smith

Great movie experience especially the fact that the chairs reclining

  • christianwarrior o

Speakers were a bit loud but lounge chair feature was a plus.

  • chef kamo on IG

Nice theater, insanely expensive compared to others.

  • Alethea Scott

Very nice seats and clean even during busy hours!

It was wonderful but don't bring no babies lmfao
