Okay then, I had been going to the red boxes in this neighborhood recently after taking a year off due to issues with their system and negative customer service response. I had an issue this evening and called their out sourced other country customer service. I was given a promo code to rectify the problem. I am on foot at the time, and even though I love to walk, did not want to walk two miles each Direction for no reason. Not when I had a goal in mind and had made plans based on that goal. Redbox has lost a customer for good. I told them this when I called customer service, Even though they don't really work for Redbox they are only a call center. I wonder if Redbox ever hears about that stuff. I'm sure they will get the picture as this neighborhood has lost four kiosks in the last year. That's okay, I have a rather large Video Collection and like most people I am not so boring that Redbox is the only thing I have to do. Just an update to my earlier post. It has been 5 months and I still have not even looked in a red box to see what they have. Between my video collection and the plethora of apps that allow me to watch what I want I have no need to pay for Redbox or visit them whatsoever. Everyone thought that putting kiosks like this was thinking outside of the box, LOL. As with most mid-level companies though, a lack of customer service is what is going to shut the business down. I only say this because they are continuing to lose kiosk locations in this area. I understand why. If closing their business is what they are trying to do, let's help them out folks, what do you say!
