"Wonderful place"
"Had a very good experience"
Always shocked about their prices, and feeling a little cheated this time as my partner brought my bike in for a new chain, costs 30$ plus $15 labor, or so we were told...once installed our clerk left and another replaced him and he JACKED THE PRICE to $57!!! It was already installed So what can we do? but c’mon Man such a sleazy move …
I just had a full tune-up done on my bike, as well as having several components fixed/replaced. It was a very positive experience. The prices were very reasonable, service is friendly and relatively quick. They have had a change in ownership which has led to much improved service. Overall, I would certainly recommend this shop.
Very friendly service, young and full of energy. I had to fix a couple components on my bike and it was very quickly taken care of. I highly recommend this bike shop. I see a lot of negative reviews here from over a year ago, since the new ownership this store has evolved into a very enjoyable experience.
Wonderful place. I lived down the block from these guys for 5 years and went back for tune ups every year. It was quick and well priced. Once I inquired about getting a rack put over my rear tire. One of the guys found me a second hand one for $10 and installed it for $15. It was a beautiful job.
Had a very good experience. Isaac was very knowledgable, approachable, humble, and took good care of making sure I was completely satisfied. Very thorough and careful with their bike maintenance services. Fair, open and transparent pricing. Would recommend to anyone in the area with a bike.
Bought a refurbished bike from them. Bike is very nice, and the process of swapping old parts out took a bit over a week. Staff is friendly and explains everything to you. Of course the price is higher than an old bike on kijiji, but they give you new parts and tune it. Would recommend!
The only bike shop in town that values the workmanship and durability of older used frames instead of pushing brand new stuff. Not only are the builds good quality, but you will leave the place on an environmental high note. Great service, dedicated owner and transparent work practices.
*this shop is not for casual cyclists* i just wanted to buy a simple cheaper bike for commuting but apparently their shop focuses on custom builds rather than just second-hand bikes. when i went there the guy told me most of their bikes were around $1000. very unfortunate.
The staff seems knowledgeable, but I expected more considering their high prices. I took my bike for a simple tune up. They were unable to make their own deadlines and did not communicate the delay. I will be taking my bike elsewhere next time and I suggest you do too
Quality of service is incredible. Dominic the store owner is very friendly and helpful. You don't get the sense that he or other clerks are trying to wring out every dollar from you. They are eager to help and show you how to take care of your bike.
I went in to check on second hand bikes, while my car was being worked on in a nearby shop. Guy approached me and asked my budget, didn't seem too friendly. He told me to go to Kijiji with my budget, since they only sell bikes of about $500
Wonderful service and support by Dom and Jordan I came in with a used bike to get a rates on repairs although I did not go forward with the service I did receive a lot of supportive insight about bikes fixing it and also other things that I
I recently visited this bike shop and was blown away by their commitment to sustainability! Not only do they have a great selection of bikes, but they also recycle and refurbish bikes to keep them out of landfills. The staff was incredibly
I bought a refurbished bike here last spring. It cost me $800. I could have had a new bike for cheaper but I liked the idea of recycling and I do love my bike. I do feel I was overcharged and the customer service wasn’t super hot. The team
Joined Google+ just to give my personal experience with this place (and since then have heard other's say the same thing). They convinced me to buy all sorts of parts which were not necessary (only had 1 broken spoke) and then added extra
Earlier today, I stop by a bike shop thinking why my tire is flat when I just pumped it this morning. Anyway, I approach the counter and tell him my issue about the bike and how I want the inner tube of my wheels to be changed. He examine
Bike snobs. Will never go back. Unhelpful, pretentious and rude unless you're looking for high-end equipment. Heavy on the upsell and opinions, light on helpfulness and acceptance that some people just want a regular bike to get around on.
I've been a customer at Recycle Cycle for over 5 years. Here's the deal, when you commit to them, they commit to you. Though I have also seen first time customers come in and they treat them like royalty. I have an ever expanding fleet of
Fantastic experience. My first time here but my husband has used this shop and had told me that the people were very knowledgeable and reliable. As soon as I drove up to the door with my bicycle on my car rack I was greeted by a worker -
This is by far the best bicycle shop I have been to for several years. The gentleman who owns this shop is very knowledgeable and very personable. The customer service is also very good with great workmanship. The used bike I bought from
Young staff, but highly knowledgeable and very mature. Honest and efficient. A very friendly and welcoming environment. Plenty of beautiful vintage frames and full builds. I've been coming here for 2 years and don't plan on switching to
I bought a used bike at Recycle-Cycle 1 year back and am very satisfied with the bike and the service I received. The team is highly knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about bikes. They deal in used bikes and have told me that they
I really love the rebuilt Devinci Milano I bought at Recycle Cycle last week. Light, and so easy to ride. To think I was considering an e-bike! This is way better. Sounds cheesy, but all the boys there put their heart and soul in their
Sold me a bike with a crashed frame that's been bent back. The frame has since then warped (bent back steel will do that). This was noticed at another bike shop when taken for a tune up. Eventually the frame would break, probably while
Visited the bike shop March 27th, 2014 and only good things to say. The new owner was very helpful in suggesting a bike for my kid. We went over 3 or 4 bikes and I finally pick one. Price was great and service EXCELLENT !!! It is easy
Ollie is a genuinely lovely guy! My bike badly malfunctioned as a result of some poorly done work that another shop had done. Luckily, at the time, I was riding on de Maisonneuve close by and carried my bike in to Recycle Cycle. Ollie
Went there with my ebike to ask some questions and the crew were able to answer them all and even gave me a hand to tune it even though they usually don’t do them . They made my day ! Was very satisfied with the service , how polite ,
Really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, it is a total cash grab. The owners have taken advantage of the fact that they recycle bikes to essentially rip people off. I was quoted $2000 for a used touring bike and told that they
Excellent service, these people actually care about fixing bikes! I brought my neglected bike in looking for guidance and repairs. Dominic walked me through everything the bike needed and explained any piece of information I didn't
I have been living in NDG for 4 years and these guys have never let me down, always very transparent with their service, you can see they love what they do and they care their customers are educated in bikes and appreciate them.
These guys are awesome. I needed air in my tires as I was cycling along de Maisonneuve to pick my kid up from daycare. These guys did it all for me and were super helpful. Really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back :)
Helpful and generous service. We were welcomed warmly and provided with immediate assistance with a repair (extreme fair price). Beautiful assortment on the floor, will definitely return to make our next bike purchase.
This is the single greatest shop in Montreal. These folks will fix and diagnose your issues IN FRONT OF YOU. They will take the time to explain what the problem is and what needs to be done.
Brought a wheel in to be trued at 11AM, I was told it would be 15$ and to return in half an hour. No problem! Half an hour later they call me saying my 'hub was loose' and that they needed
These guys are the best. Great service, very knowledgeable.I tell everyone I know to drop in and have a look.I don't go anywhere else. The gold standard of bike shops. Job well done guys.
I have gone to this shop many times and every time i have only experienced excellent service. The people there are very nice and did some quality repairs for very reasonable prices.
Experienced staff. Quick and to the point! Bought a rear bike rack. Even if you're not from the area, I recommend you go there to fix or buy a bike! Merci, bonjour!
Great bike shop and fantastic service. Stopped by for a few adjustments on my road bike, they did it on the stop. Very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended
Although they were closed, someone came out from store and fixed my bike’s break for free quickly. The breaks work great now thanks to his expertise!
My go to bike shop. The owner is fantastic and honest. I rebuilt my bike twice (road then cx) through here and the experience has been phenomenal.
Great place to get my back wheel rebuilt Super cool guys & the pricing was right. As far as I’m concerned; best bike service in NDG …
The owner of the store tried to sell me his old broken frame (yes, split steel.) He claimed it was still safe to ride. I didn't take it.
Incredibly helpful. Good dudes. Glad I stopped in. They fixed up my old bike to be triathlon ready with great advice and fast service.
This guys are great. Bike experts and craftsmen, with a focus on finding what suits the customer best, as well as quality and safety.
I've been going there for my bike needs for years. They know their stuff, they're conscientious and quick. I highly recommend them.
I didn't end up getting a bike but staff (and the dog!) are so friendly and welcoming, and offered great insight! Thanks again!
Very friendly, great people they fix my daughter bike on spot for reasonable price. .......BIG UP YOURSELF!!!
Helpful workers and had everything I need in stock. Definitely recommend if you need anything for your bike!
Super sympa! Great service and very friendly. They really know their stuff but are able to
Very dissapointed with this service, won't be coming back. TL;DR
