We had a birthday party for our daughter at Rain Hayne and Shine farm. It's a beatiful place with plenty activities for children. Children definelety had a ball there feeding calves and baby goats, riding ponies, and patting rabbits and guinea pigs. Many thanks to hosts! We are coming again soon …

We had my daughter's 6th birthday party here - she had such a perfect day, very relaxing but at the same time so many things to do. The party/ tram room was perfect for our small group and the kids had a wonderful time patting and feeding the animals. Thanks so much Rain Hayne & Shine!

I went today with my 3 kids (7,5, 3) we spent 2.5hrs there. Had a great time. The kids loved it! The fact there was food infront of the closures was fantastic and they had green ticks if you were allowed in and red crosses if not. Bloody Ripper place! Thanks guys

Excellent traditional farm fun. It's weathered, it's old, it's great! Lots of paddocks and enclosures you can access with a wide variety of animals. It is way more affordable than other offerings. I would recommend bringing your own food, they do not have a Cafe.

Loved our day here, interaction with animals very organic. Staff are super friendly and my highlight is story time where they use the animals as characters. Will definitely be back. Be sure to take a picnic lunch but they sell good coffee and a few snacks

We were looking for a family outing last minute for our Sunday afternoon, this popped up as a recommendation so thought we’d give it a go! What a great visit it was. Pony rides for our three year old, alpacas, goats, rabbits, birds. So many

Great experience for the kids, plenty of feeding opportunities, kids loved the close interaction with farm animals. Tractor ride is free, which is great. Pony ride costs additional $5 but the kids enjoyed it. Also has a playground which the

Perfect for young kids and the price is fantastic for what you get. It’s pretty well kept for a small farm with constant maintenance going on from what I saw. All animals were great and they even took us for a tractor ride. Pony was super

Went today, thoroughly disappointed. We’re asking the staff questions as we had never been there before and they hurried me along and didn’t make us feel welcome. The whole place is incredibly run down and $15 for a 2yr old is very steep.

  • Zoe Thorn

Lots of fun, great for young kids. We brought our own lunch, plenty of tables to sit at, they make coffee at the front but not much else. 2hrs was a good time for us to wander around, have a tractor ride and the kids to enjoy themselves.

Like one of the reviews on here.. this is also one of the best farm experiences we’ve had! Sue (I think she may be the owner/manager) takes such great care of all the animals and gets all the kids engaged and having fun, like feeding the

What a beautiful animal farm, great for kids however I wish there were more staff on site to brief us with some safety issues. My husband got attacked by an angry goat as we accidentally let it out of its enclosure. There were no staff

Thank you so much for opening your farm and providing the Easter egg hunt for the little ones. I came to Rain Hayne and Shine when I was 4 (with my kinder) and I am now 34. To be able to bring my 2 nearly 3 year old was such a special

We had the best time at the farm this week. I have been to 2 other main children’s farms in Melbourne and this one is by far the best for small children.

Wonderful childrens farm! So many animals for children to interact with up close. My 2 year old didn’t want to leave even after being there for 3 hours.

A great place to visit for kids and families alike. Not a massive place but perfect in size for families with children.

  • Katina Heaslip

Over priced ,paid $45 for 2 adults and one child aged 3 years old. Children should be free at that age. Not impressed ,
