Loved it! Note that I'm older than most patrons here (to be clear I'm over 50, with good knees, an appreciation of techno except for ambient, and a strong heart). That said, I LOVED IT!!! My GF had never been to a rave-like scene before. Back in the day (mid to late 90's), I was a raver - and in many ways I still consider myself to be one. In December 2021, I had to travel to MN to do some work, and I chose to bring my GF with me since we both work remotely most of the time. While there, I was really interested in finding a venue, preferably underground, with live music and lots of dancing. OMG! Did I ever hit the jackpot here!!! It was all dubstep including the up and coming, but talented VERSA. I can't tell you what I paid to get in...but it was. Worth. Every. Penny. There are issues here and there. Bathrooms are hard to find and use quickly. They did have a coat check and it appeared to be secure, which was very helpful for southerners like us. The main dance floor was tilted and that was hard on my GF 's knees - I'm not going to hold that against them. It's really a building design issue, so they may have had to work with what they had. My GF is years younger than me, but both her knees have issues. Still, we had a great time and then we found the other room. Off from the main area, they had a smaller stage and dancefloor with similar music. Not as heavy duty, but very danceable. That floor was much more level and there were some chairs too - of course, I didn't sit, but my GF did and that gave her a chance to rest her knees. The whole experience was awesome and we will go back. A couple of notes. It was mid-December, snowing outside, and some girls dancing in front of me were barely dressed; no issues there, just a surprise because it really was cold - it was snowing when we walked to the entrance and when we left. Many of the guys had shorts on too. So I guess it was warm to them, but in retrospect it makes it even more impressive that they had a staffed coat check. Personal note: I also got COVID19 from the club where I willingly chose not to wear a mask. So it's not their fault! I had both vaccine shots, but missed the booster before I traveled due to an issue with pharmacy staffing. The good news is that my otherwise excellent health paid off. I tested positive five days after I flew back home (I had symptoms on day three), quarantined for 10 days following my symptoms, didn't get my GF sick (she had the original COVID, so in this case, my Omicron was no match for her immune system), and I continued to run a 5K on Jan 1, 2022-just a day or so after my quarantine ended. I'd planned for us to run that race back in November. To be fair, it was my worst race ever and I came in dead last, but despite the lack of symptoms and the time I spent in quarantine my breathing still wasn't 100%. I ran another 5K two weeks later and I was back to my normal pace.
Terrible place, I went to celebrate my birthday with my friends and we didn't have a good time. We sat in a room when we arrived at the place and bought some drinks at the bar to get in the mood (there were no people at all) however the staff told us that if we wanted to stay in the room we had to buy a bottle to stay there, which It's understandable but it was bad that they only applied that rule to our table and took us away from there. We had to leave because the way the staff treated us was bad, if they didn't want us there, why let us in from the beginning and charge us for admission? Disappointed we would never return to this place in addition to the fact that the mix of music as well as the staff is terrible.

I've always had good experiences at this club. It's small but I like that. It's always kept clean and classy. If you have been to someplace like 1st ave, this club is the complete opposite :) Service here is always great as well. I called earlier tonight to see if tickets would be available at the door for a show this Friday, and if so how much they would be. A lady from the Union (bar upstairs that owns and operates REV) answered and was able to answer my question fairly confidently. I was surprised when I got a text 5 minutes later from Matt from REV. He saw a missed call to REV and offered his assistance. Not sure if he knew I had been helped already but it's a testament to the Union/REV's customer service.
Everything was pretty good and reasonable. lounge is nice and drinks are valuable. Not blown away by anything but only complaint was the bouncers were a little rude at the end of the night. After the show it was only 2 am, and no one was allowed to wait in the entry on a cold night for friends to regroup after coat check. Pretty much shoved outside. Every command had a foul word it. Night felt kind of like eating a nice meal then washing it down with a warm PBR. Not a super way to treat guests who each spend about 60 bucks...
Bad vibes. Told us booths were bottle service only but didn't enforce that rule with the other booths where no one ordered anything to drink, and there were open booths. Music wasn't great anyway and not a lot of people so it wasn't hard to leave, but if they didn't want the ten of us there they shouldn't have let us in and taken our $10 cover.

Thanks to the work of SIMshows and REV, some excellent, world-renowned DJs come to REV for up-close-and-personal sets, a relatively unique and uncommon experience considering many of the DJs easily fill large clubs and festivals. That said, the small venue can be somewhat claustrophobic. Drink prices are about average for a club ($7-10). Most people are friendly.
This venue is is so small that there is no room to dance and every time I've attended a show I've gotten spilled on by drunk people. No matter how bad I want to see an act at this venue I will not go. This venue ruins everything show I've seen because they pack the people in like sardines.
I haven't been back here in a few years, but since they remodeled for concerts it's a lot better. Still could get rid of some of the VIP tables to make more room for walking/dancing, but I can't have it all. Strong drinks and nice bathrooms.
Leave your valuables at home. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s gotten progressively worse over time. My jacket was stolen from coat check on my most recent visit and I was pretty much told that it wasn’t their problem.
A smaller venue typically catering to house and trance music. The layout has improved substantially from previous years as there's now an actual dance floor. The bar continues to suffer from limited selection.
Met a former Green Bay lineman here. When I shook his hand, it was so much bigger than mine that he was able to snap his fingers with my hand inside. It's crazy coz I'm like 6'2"...
Small basement club. Rating it low because they could improve the lighting. It’s too centered but they should make the lights also go where the vip tables are too.
I literally go here every weekend. Between Union Rooftop and Rev Ultra Lounge @ Union. Beautiful people, great DJ's, and an intimate, elegant environment.
Awesome venue system sounds amazing down in the basement

Too small for the amount of people they try to cram in there. The music is always deafening and the bar always runs out of ear plugs.
Too many VIP tables that take up too much of the dance floor. Pricey drinks. I like the smoke machine there though
Thanks for not mentioning there's only certain days where the whole club is open. Wasted my time and money
Loud. Expensive drinks. Dance floor and lounge. Giant music visualizers. Awesome atmosphere.
Was a great show but the venue is very small and 70% of it was VIP section. Average service
The drink selection is minimal, but the venue is great for a more intimate show.
Roof is nice, underground had good music, main level is a waste
Great place and a smaller venue if you like edm music!
Love how intamte the dj sets can be!
Party it up! U know the drill!
best club in town
