Unhappy with quality of service. Had lost my debit card and went into the branch hoping to resolve the issue. I unfortunately didn't have any ID besides my Ontario health card but I was hoping there would be something they could do considering the predicament I was in. According to the teller, RBC has a policy of not accepting Ontario health cards and wasn't able to over any solutions or ideas and simply asked me to reference a brochure. My issues are the following; 1. The teller was unable to help me come up with a solution and was unwilling to suggest any ideas. I cannot imagine I was the first ever person to come in requesting a replacement card with only access to limited or no ID. 2. I also disagree with RBC's policy of not accepting Ontario health cards. I realize it is probably a industry wide policy and most banks would say the same but considering my specific situation it greatly inconvenienced me. I realize this was probably is not even worth complaining about but after being with RBC for over two decades, this last transgression is the reason why I'll be considering alternative banking options and closing my accounts.
Really disappointed with the bank and online services. I opened the bank account for my sister. The staff was really nice at the time of opening the account... They gave us good deals and everything... But after that.. No value for customer its been more than a month now at the beginning The account got blocked for no suc reason.. Which blocked the mobile application as well.. And till now.. We tried calling the online support services, firstly the hold time is for hours and that's totally not acceptable and even after that we left a voicemail to the representative who open the account. No response from him as well. We tried visiting and nothing.. Till now bank has totally disappointed us in all the way it can.. And you lost we other valuable customers.. I was also about to switch my banking to BMO but no.. Not anymore.. Especially just because of online services they don't even answer the phone for hours.
This is definitely one of the best RBC branches in the National Capital Region. I live in Quebec and travel 45 minutes out of my way just to do my banking at this location. I have dealt with several associates from this location (front desk, teller and specialists) and have always received the best care. The staff here are knowledgeable, professional, friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel like a valued customer. You can tell that they are all passionate in what they do and only recommend/deliver services that are in the client's best interest. This branch location deserves to be recognized and acknowledged for their outstanding customer service.
The service at this location is very slow. We do our corporate banking at this branch since the Bells Corner branch closed. With electronic cheque deposits we only need to go to the branch for foreign currency deposits. The last time I was in it took 30 minutes to do a deposit with a teller. I had to postpone a scheduled meeting because it took so long. By the time I left there was a line of people needing service that stretched to the door. I don't know if they are understaffed or under trained or some combination of those, but it takes much longer to complete simple transactions here than it should.
Opened an GIC account in india and deposited 10k . Came to Canada and these guys telling me you need to book an appointment (latest available appt is next week) Managers were trying their best to not help us and push for a later day. How am I supposed to pay rent and expenses ? Are we supposed to call from india and book appointments before arriving ? Scotia bank is so much better with GIC account. Really disappointed that I chose RBC over Scotia bank .
I am so happy with service with RBC bank at centerpoint especially the client advisor Anjali who helped me with opening account and settings all appointments.she was so nice and polite because I had been waiting to open account online but I was having many difficulties. It was so convenient service and also happy with because of prompt service. And Elvira also helped me by providing good offer for new client. Thank you .
Last year visit was horrible short of staff, many joniors who knows nothing. Even the simple exchange they do it the reverse of what was asked. This year visit again same mistake from a staff reversing the exchange rate. I had to explain to him his mistake. The supervisor who was called was not friendly or aware about the rate on their website, claiming it is USA website. I will not visit this branch again.
Walked in to transfer money. Instead of doing the transfer, they froze the balance for a week without giving any information, and when I asked if I could speak to anyone, the answer is always “We can not disclose this information” AVOID THIS BRANCH!!! I have much happier service at another RBC branch.
They have this translator service accessed from their tablets, it supports some 130 different languages. Like a conference call, with the translator helping communicate between customers and the branch representatives. My parents were very pleased to be able to communicate in Turkish!
Staff is unprofessional. Treat you like an idiot. Get aggressive when you point out their mistakes. Will only begrudgingly correct blatant errors they made. Would not willingly deal with anyone from their company. Total bullies who abuse power dynamic with customers.
Worst customer service. Manager has no manners and talks without logic. Visited first time and worst experience ever i am gonna close the account soon because of their behaviour. So many stupid and unnecessary questions to get a simple draft.
The wait in line was forever. There always seems to be a shortage of tellers. The first teller we had was rude and not helpful. We asked to speak with someone else, that teller helped us sort out the issue very well.
Terrible bank went to ask about a secured credit card they said they can get me one if approved went on my appointment and the finance person said they dont do secured credit cards waste of time shut down this bank
Excellent Customer Service. The teller Anjali is simply awesome. It's the first time I visited Centrepointe branch and the experience could be termed as "a service with a smile".
Our banking experience at this location has always been great be it withdrawing cash, getting bank drafts etc.. Very friendly and fast service no complaints at all.
