READ Be very careful when trying to get information from the rbc representatives. Service: I am currently in the domincan republic and I have no access to my accounts or can I contact costumer service. If you plan on going on vacation make sure you contact rbc to see if the country you're goijg too is eligible. I went to see the girl to transfers CAD to USD and then use that money to get pesos. She ended up disabling my account, which meant I had to reset my password at home. The following day I arrived in domincan republic and had no way of contacting or resetting my password through my phone. I was unable to access my funds or make transfers. The GM should be ashamed, he should higher individuals with the right skills to complete the job. RBC.... je me souviens. Or should I say: "lo recordaré"

I have been a client at RBC for several years... starting to reconsider. Biggest issues: extreme delays in responses, losing forms, poor follow-through, useless meetings, misinformation re loans, extremely long hold times. There were some occasional productive encounters with the rare competent person - I won't deny that. In hindsight, I think it has been more of a disservice than anything else. (Unfortunately, I'm not sure other banks are better, but I'm willing to find out). Oh and something I find absolutely unacceptable: the phone number on their business cards lead to the general customer service line, which takes hours to get through and negates the effort of going there in person to meet with someone.

They blocked my credit card without my permission, when I forgot it in Quebec and because I didn't remember the first day I first got into RBC. I had to go to the states with no money and no credit card. The credit line asked me to go to the bank to reactivate it, I went to this bank, this bank told me to call the credit because they couldn't do anything. Called the credit line and told I had to come back in a bank to Id myself with 2 ids cards. No note left that I went to the bank. RBC is bad, do not have RBC!

I appreciate the helpful nature of Mr. Francis Carignan. He was very nice & informative explained all the details and he was open to assist me in future banking with the RBC. I had some issues in the beginning since most of their staff (management) isn’t knowledgeable or helpful towards their customers. However Mr Francis was great to deal with and he helped me with personal banking accounts & he did his best to resolve the issues we had. That was a great experience for a new customer.

I had an unpleasant interaction with one of the bank tellers named (I believe) Cecelia. I requested bank statements and it came across as a large burden for her. The entire time she was rude. After I received the printouts and was checking them over and clarifying something, she basically told me to move along. I'm sure my interaction with one employee does not represent the entire branch, however this poor experience makes me not want to return.

How is it possible to be this slow? . It seems the staff doesn't know what they are doing. 32 minutes in line for only 2 people and still waiting. They should just close the branch and leave atm only after all is the same effect as no transaction can take place normally in this place. Any other branch around offer different experience

I don't go too much to this branch because they are slow, but the experience I had today made me not going there anymore. I had The rudest service by a young girl with blonde curly hair, I wish I could know her name. I didn't put 1 star because there are some people that gave me better service than this woman.

Do not open an account with RBC bank. Your money is not in safe with this bank. There is no protection for your money from the scammers. There are people who defrauded me of 2800CAD and no one helped me at RBC even I have proof that I was scammed and the email of the scammer and all the screenshots.

Worst client experience, after waiting 45 minutes for the manager ( I rarely go to branch) the manager she was working right behind the teller never had the decency to come see me for 5 minutes. You can not treat your clients this way by ignoring and avoiding them, unprofessional and disrespectful.

The service in this place is incomplete horrible. I did not have one good experience there. it is waste of time and money, especially for immigrants that not understand the financial system here. be careful. I lost almost 500 dólares in inappropriate fees… Worst bank stuff in the world!!!

Twice today...at 2 different branch i was told to wait while the clerk finished his previous transaction?...in the branch Stanley/Sherbrooke someone ask me what i needed...told him a large cash...and he walked away. The branch Stanley/ste Catherine....their machine give out 200$ extra...

This branch looks like an absolute dump. It's always filthy which reflects the behavior of their staff pretty well I guess. They don't care about you and will make an effort to make your life more difficult. I guess it makes them feel better about working in such a horrible environment.

I have an one year non redeemable account, few days before maturing, I went to this branch and I asked them to transfer my money to my checking account..however, they lock my account for another year with minimum interest rate..I threatened them with police and everything is fine now!

Very poor attention to detail. Branch employee entered the wrong amount for a cheque that was brought to the bank for deposit by a notary and I am still missing $10,000 in my account as a result. It has been a week since this issue was escalated and I still don't have my money.

Great location and always available, unfortunately I felt upbraided the one and only time I've had to interact with a teller in this branch. I also find the area around the ATM machines lack cleaning most times, although to be fair the location might not help.

Worked with a Teller and given false information about how to manage an issue. When spoke to customer information, they recommended going back to the branch. Went back to the branch, and they did not know how to manage this task and no resolution was made.

Grande banque. Le personnel est serviable et professionnel. En revanche il y a souvent trop d'attente pour voir un conseiller. Il est quand même bien placé et dont achalandé, alors je pense qu'un ou deux conseillers en plus ne seraient pas de trop.

Worst RBC branch i've been to. It isn't /awful/ but I found the staff almost felt grumpy and somewhat condescending. I'm not saying that they need to be bouncing with joy, but it felt especially unwelcoming.

Always long waiting time. People work with slow motion, not efficient at all!! 2 min transaction takes forever to wait and to finish!! They should have put more people during the rush lunch hours.

Had to wait more than an hour. Rbc person showed up not even apologizing and without even calling before to warn me of delays. Not the kind of service one should expect from a bank.

Very slow service, tellers tell things that are not true. In general RBC is horrible, but this specific branch beats their average at being horrible.
