I took a few items that needed altering - all good service and fine. I took in a cushion that had a mark on one side, which was sorted when I went to collect it. However on inspection while in the branch, I saw some damage to the other side, where the velvet of the cushion looked like it had been burned or scratched in some way as the texture of the velvet was changed. I pointed it out to the colleague I'd been dealing with who got (I presume) his manager, who proceeded to just get a plastic bag for the cushion for me to take away. I said - there's a mark on there that wasn't there before. He replied - that's not a mark, that's material damage, that happens with velvet I replied - yes, but that wasn't there when I brought it in He said - that's just damage that happens to this kind of material - it's not a mark it damage. All we did was dry clean it, we didn't do anything else to it I replied - yes, and thank you for getting the mark out that I asked you to - but this damage was done while it was in the shop as it wasn't done before hand It was going nowhere so I left the shop as no apology, no acceptance for a mistake - I had already paid for all of the services and I don't think I'll use them again now purely based on the attitude of the man who refused to admit any liability and basically made out like it came out of nowhere. Disappointing.

I brought my jacket in to be washed because it had some stains on it. After asking if they could remove them, they said they could, and I paid them. I would have preferred honesty, but it seems that money is more important than morality. I was fortunate that I examined my jacket because if I hadn't, I would have discovered the stain at home. I spent 14 pounds for nothing; I received no assistance. Make sure they can remove it when you pay in advance to have your clothes washed; if not, save your money. Never returning again

I had three pairs of trousers all needing the waist taken in. I was allowed to try each pair on and the assistant helped me get the measurements precise. I was told they would be finished by Saturday afternoon in which they were. Very fast service as I came in Thursday evening. The job was professionally done! you wouldn’t even know they were altered at all. I highly recommend this affordable shop for alterations.

A couple of days ago I needed my clothes to get washed and ironed ASAP because I had accidentally spilled something on it and I needed to wear them the following day. When I entered the shop, the staff had a very warm welcome and were very kind. When I told them to wash my clothes ASAP, they were very quick with it and I got it in time. There were no wrinkles or any sort of stains on it.

Took my gucci coat to be repaired and they lost a button but totally denied it and said that's how I brought it in. Barefaced lie. He then had the cheek to tell me to look on Amazon, didn't offer any resolution and told me buttons were not his responsibility. If I could give minus 100 star's I would

After I insisted they add a layer of fabric plus re-stitching a faulty bag belt (they didn't think the layer was necessary), they fixed it within a couple of days. Very happy with the result. Bag is still fastening without problems months later.
