I Moved out of the storage on august 17th in the evening. I came back on September 1st during their business hours to let the people in the office know that as of September 1st I would like to finalize the move out. I was informed that even though I came into the office on September the 1st after 3pm, I would need to pay them the entire month of September’s rent because I did not take my lock off before 3pm. (I was not informed of that at all). I was then told to remove the lock on September 1st the first and they should void it for me. I receive a phone call two days later saying they are recanting on what they said. I was referred to call a customer service number which then led me to a customer service representative. She was rude and was not willing to hear anything I had to say but except they want their money. Something so simple couldn’t be worked out based off of an hour of me not taking off my lock? That is ridiculously petty. I went ahead and paid for September’s bill, but I will never ever go through public storage again. The place was very ghetto to begin with and their customer service was unprofessional and rude. I will spread the word to everyone I know. Do not go to public storage on Georgetown road in Indianapolis.

The unit on 56th and Georgetown Rd in Indpls seems to jack up prices every 6 months or so. I don't like it but I had managed to be paying it. Then the pandemic hit, prices at storage continue to rise as well as everything else and I get behind. The late fees they tack on are autonomouy high to where I am charged more than double my normal monthly fees, I am disabled, on a fixed income and can never catch up with these late fees tacked on and stay a month behind. I make partial payments of what I can And 2 days later I get phone call from the facility threatening to sell my stuff at auction. A company is only as good as the people it keeps, how do they keep p÷open by constantly raising prices and tackingnonn)ate fees when we can't handle the increases. Its like they wNt to sell my things.

I stopped by your location to see what all it had to offer. I am interested in a storage unit and had visited a few others nearby. I spoke with an Erika and she was very helpful and answered my various questions. She had some phone calls at the time of my visit, but was able to handle them and myself all professionally. Often people seem to be rushed with calls and someone in person. She answered all of questions and took time to explain many things to me. At one time I listened to her answering questions for one of the calls and she seems very informed. I often do not write reviews, but felt she went above the normal so I decided to write a review. Thank you and Erika again for your help.

Geneva did a great job walking me through the whole process. However a month later I got a call stating my stuff was stolen. I had to leave work and rush to the unit. Turns out she put me in the wrong unit and my unit was about to be sold at auction. They moved my lease into another unit and were supposed to honor the original lease agreement cost. Huge mess up on public Storage’s part. I’m beyond frustrated. 1 week after the whole mess(4/24/19): I got a late charge applied to my account and the price still has not been changed to the original unit cost. The regional manager was supposed to fix the problem but never did. I can’t reach the property via phone.

I was needing a place to store my things for about nine days; until I closed on my house (delayed due to weather/that's IN). Erika was great at suggesting what I should need/use. Taking her professional advise everything worked out to my best interest (price,time,location,convience and the polite follow up calls). I will encourage anyone looking for a clean, professional,courteous,secure,and inexpensive storage to give Erika a visit or a phone call. Thank you for making moving into my home easy!

Jennifer helped get me set up with a beautiful 10'x10' unit. She was wicked helpful and fun to talk to. She walked me out to the unit in the pouring rain and even complemented my 11 year old pos car! What a nice lady! I'm stoked to put all kinds of stuff in my unit. Boxes of low value items. Low quality and affordable chairs. The couch my cats ripped the bottom out of. Nothing of high value or interest! Thanks Jennifer for the help and top notch service!

Jo was very helpful and courteous when setting me up with a storage unit....even after the computer system had just been down and they were in the midst of a hectic afternoon. I was in and out with relative ease. My only complaint about Public Storage (and nothing whatsoever to do with the outstanding staff) would be the hidden costs not disclosed when making a reservation on their website, i.e. insurance, lock cost, etc.

I now happy cause Geneva helped me. I have a passport and went down to 38th and Lafayette rd and was turned down due to me only having a passport... I came down to Georgetown where she was nice, explained everything to me, made me feel welcome, told me call if I needed anything. She needs a raise . And for the lady who decided not to help me, flip you, for turning me down, ur attitude is not acceptable..

Made a reservation and moved our stuff in on the same day! Very Convenient! Jennifer helped us and she was great. She got us a storage unit practically right inside the entrance door. Went over all the products we might need. The office and the storage units was very clean. I would definitely recommend this location for storage needs.

The few times I've visited this location I've been assisted by Liz. Her professional display of customer service, knowledge of the property and units, and courteous demeanor make each visit a pleasant experience. Over the past year that I've had units at this property I have found it to always be clean, well lit, and secure.

I've had 2 storage units for over 3 years now. The storage units contain a majority of my business assets. The politeness, and professionalism of Erika causes my month to month stay to be sublime. It allows me to concentrate on other aspects of my business. It's great to see someone that cares these days. Thank you. .

Charlene, the manager. I believe she's a manager. If not she should be. Anyhow she has the best customer service skills. Very personable and knows her job. She was able to help use consolidate our belongings and arrangement of our unit so we could fit into a smaller unit and continue to store at this location.

Highly recommend doing business here I bought a unit and got a great deal on a bonus unit it was a great deal for me and the very nice lady in charge pat I think was her name she was very helpful and really knows the business well and does a great job keeping this facility clean I was expecting alot worse

The staff and the ladies from corporate were very informative specially about helping off site properties due to vacant jobs so even when the office was closed i still got the assistance i needed. We've been storing things for over a year now and has been a great convenience
