Furious with this location! We rented unit #38, last building in the back corner, to store items I inherited from my grandma. We wanted to use our own locks but had to buy locks from Public Storage, they did not come in a secure box, they were handed to us "unwrapped". When we were moving out we discovered boxes in our unit that did not belong to us, they came from a unit that was on the opposite end of the building. The manager said that there had been several "incidents" recently. He came down with a cart and removed the boxes we discovered in our unit. We were told Public Storage would contact the owner of the boxes. When I tracked down the owner, thanks to her mail being in boxes hidden in my unit, she said no one had called to tell her her unit had been broken into. The insurance, that was recommended by Public Storage with flyers at the counter, will not cover our losses as there was no damage to the door and they claim an expert has examined the lock and determined the lock was not picked. The district manager, Monica Craig, has not returned any of my phone calls. I discovered that she credited my checking account 2 months rent however my losses are over $1000. I left a message for Monica's boss/Eric, did not receive a call from him either. The theft of our family heirlooms doesn't warrant a single call from the district manager or her boss?? The location manager, TJ, has been sympathetic but can't do much, just refers us to Monica . I have included a picture of the boxes that were taken from one unit and put into our unit. These boxes were hidden in the middle of our unit so as to cover up the disappearance of our items. I asked Public Storage to notify the other tenants to 1) warn them that they may have been broken into 2) to see if our stuff was put in another unit..... they refused to let the other tenants know. Police report filed
I have been a customer with Public Storage many times over the years, and currently been with them 2+ yrs. Over this time I have had many different issues arise but none were handled more professionally and efficiently than the last one. Lynn went above and beyond to ensure my unit was safe and securely locked. (I had forgotten to put my lock back on). She took the time to put my lock back on and kept the key for me and left me messages from her own personal time telling me what I had done. Also since the Covid epidemic things have been hard on everyone. I had another issue arise and she worked fiercely and efficiently to help me correct the problem. All the while comforting me and reassuring me that all would be fine. In the end because of her exceptional effort and true professionalism, SHE WAS RIGHT! All was fine. I do believe if it had not been for Lynn and all her abilities this situation would of turned out different. She made me feel like I was a friend not a customer! So for that I THANK YOU LYNN FOR THE EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU PROVIDED ME WITH. I WISH THERE WERE MORE LIKE YOU. Keep up the great work.
The access is good but the locks you are required to use suck .I have had issues with 4 of them .it is a struggle everytime just to lock or unlock the unit . Also do not ask the guy at the desk ( the rare times he is there it is pretty clear he is not interested in being bothered )the lockout hours are a bit over the top . On my move in date I was 4 minutes late and my wife got calls texts emails. Once again I was 1 minute late and I found out I could have restricted access . Sure people should not stay terribly late but a 5 or 10 minute grace period wouldn't hurt . I was almost late one other time because the car in front of me was blocking the gate .I've seen holes in the fencing which I reported and they fixed but there are other security issues here . I feel that for the price we pay and the profit margins they make should allow for security issue repairs
I came in with a question and complaint for another location and the lack of customer service I have received from Public Storage for the 6+ years as a customer. I was greeted by a helpful, sincere, manager named Lynn. She took the time to listen to my situation of having over paid for the market rate of my storage unit for more than four years and having never received prior notification that my rates were going up month to month. She took my name and phone number and told me she would speak with the regional manager to make the corrections and come to an agreeable resolution with my complaint. That experience changed the way I look at the company. She is now and forever my go to Gal with anything Public Storage related. Also the property manager TJ likes to argue on the phone he taxes you as soon as you rent a unit 60 was how much was now it's 83 dollars no not fair. They are making me pay 240 it's the 5th and I can't pay to get out of the unit . Its like I am stuck paying a full month even tho I want to move out . I asked to pay half and if I could move out and get prorated nope or if I pay 160 can I go in my unit they said no so this is not going to be a place I use ever again. I absolutely hate public storage
~ Affordable, Clean, and Professional Service ~ ~ TJ (The Manager) doesn't sound the friendliest, but he is nice enough for an older gentlemen who works and lives at a storage facility. What I really like about TJ though, is that he is professional but laid back. He isn't going to bother you unless your suspicious, like operating power tools in the storage building where you could be stealing. He will sound the alarm if the neighbors call saying they hear metal being cut. ~ Lynn is very kind and helpful, always greets me with a happy face and a soul filled with joy! She also got me a discount for a month when I had a complaint that was later fixed.
Clean storage facilities ,staff waS friendly and helpful , however I'm completely unimpressed with the online process ! Taxes &! Fees as well as required insurance fees should be clearly stated before you confirm the reservation and fill in all your personal information! InsteD they wait untiL you Almost finish the check in then add that its going to cost even more money than originally stated in the beginning for insurance .. knowing up front what complete costs & fees will be might draw more people ! (Thats just my opinion) overall I'm completely satisfied with ps and the staff so far have been great
This place is affected. Recently, I was the victim of a theft of belongings valued at almost $9,000. The person who answers the door is not so friendly and does not want to give me the security videos to make a report to the police and have evidence. They forced my door. They broke the door. locks and only I received a call to tell me that my unit had been opened I do not understand what type of security they offer to clients I am still struggling with the insurance
I have had a storage here @ Public Storage for about 8 months now .Lynn has been nothing short of amazing. She has been personable ,helpful,curtious yet professional as well. She has made every visit for me comfortable . I like how she's honest & straight forward but also being respectful. She's a breath of fresh air for sure. She's a asset to Public Storage. Thanks so much for who & what you do Lynn.
We needed a unit today. We we're told over the phone it would be $50. When we arrived,we were told it was $60.so we had to go cash in our bottles for the extra $10. Of course then stuck in traffic we barely made it before the office closed. The gentleman eas nice enough to get us set up. Can't thank him enough for his help. Not everyone would've gone the extra mile. Geoff and i really appreciate it.
Do not go here this is not good place to get a storage, bad business I went and rent a storage the send an e-mail to another person about the rental information, this e-mail that got sent that other person contained some of my personal information, this is a huge mistake and guess what I am not going to get a refund for their mistake, that's right NO REFUND FOR THEIR MISTAKE. Please do not go there.
We have been renting storage at this location for over 10 years. Security is great. Never had any problems. The grounds and buildings are clean and well maintained. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Mark is great. We would recommend this location to family and friends, in need of safe clean storage and will come back here if there is a need for us to do so in the future.
I stopped by this location simply to inquire rates and availability. I was greeted by Lynn a very stylish, energetic and patient employee. She went over all the policy's, monthly rates and move in specials. Good job Public Storage she is the role model of what customer service should be. Give that woman an award. Also, this is a very clean site, well lit and appears secure.
My experience at the public storage on 105th and division was an excellent one there's a lady named Lynn there that went above and beyond to help me with my issues and really came through for me in a time of need. She has great customer service skills, is very hospitable and treats everybody like family. I would definitely suggest this place to my friends and family.
Moving is tough as we well know and the staff here sure understands. We worked with a few different staff members, all were great! A young woman named Ashley stuck out, having went above and beyond for us, a few times, she truley grasps the meaning of customer service! The price was great and the bathrooms are clean. I had a unit here for over a year and had some issues with the manager. After expressing those issues my spouse and I were personally called by the manager who has now taken over Lynn. I must say she is amazing and I have all faith that this place is on a path to awesomeness!!!!! THANK YOU LYNN FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!
The place is really clean and seems to be pretty secure. They kept all of my stuff safe for a while with no issues, so I was pleased. The only negative thing would be their hours of operation... 24 hour access to my belongings would be much more helpful for a working adult's moving schedule.
It's a clean storage place, BUT I never got one month for a buck like they said, I moved my stuff there on the 23rd and paid full price and on the first I had to pay again and the third month I moved out, the add said pay first month and get the second for a dollar.
Been renting a 10x10 unit here since Nov 2013 and have been very pleased. The unit was clean upon move in and the front desk person was very polite and helpful. The facility was secure with a password protected front gate as well as visible

Very misleading, not very "public" with security gates, entry codes and nearly every door had a pad lock of some sort. Couldn't find a bathroom at all, I had to go in a corner. (sorry D032 I didn't have anything to clean it up with me)
