Last December, we bought a pair of earrings from Tea Tree Plaza, SA - by March, however, one of the earrings had their lock pin break like a twig, and it snapped and fell on the ground. We returned to the store, and we were given an invoice, the earrings were sent to the supplier where they were replaced 1.5 months later, and the new pair then broke only 5 weeks after we retrieved them. When we took the second pair there again, we were asked "what are you doing with the earrings, for them to break in this way?" A few minutes later, we happened to see a tray filled a massive stack of bundles of invoices, identical to the one that we were given about our broken first pair. We twice clearly informed them that we would rather be given a refund, instead of being given a third, equally fragile pair of earrings, which they first replied to with understanding, but never gave a clear answer as to what was going to happen, and instead wrote out a new invoice and re-sent the second pair back to the supplier, for them to check whether the earrings that broke intentionally, or accidentally. We were told that we would be called about our refund a few days later, but instead our next call from them was in two week's time, saying that we could take our third pair back, with not a word of a refund from them. We repeated to them that we would not accept anything but a refund, following the manager saying that they did not do refunds, after all this process. We threatened them with a message to an ombudsman, at which point they instantly smiled and agreed to our refund. Conclusively: When buying jewellery, this place will detract the cost down to endless bother and inconvenience. If you have bought something from them, make sure that you have kept all your receipts, and make sure to ask them clearly about the conditions and the duration of the guarantee.

I got a quote to fix my gold bracelet, they quoted $40.. weeks later I got a voice message that didn’t even make sense. Called back and told me it is now going to cost me $200 to fix.. it needed 1 solder as they said. I said absolutely not! Went and got another quote elsewhere and only charged me $90 (as they found other links that were cracking and needed an extra 2 solders) Never AGAIN!!!!
