Booked a room at this hotel and rang to inform them I needed an accessible room due to mobility problems was assured this was fine. Travelled from Birmingham to Bristol went to check in to be told all accessible rooms are occupied. No apology nothing was given the managers name and number and asked to call 2 days later as they was unable to refund me there and then. I called the manager Olga who was as useful as a chocolate tea pot stating she could not refund my money. During the phone call I noticed another member of staff had come on the phone and was shouting down the phone been very rude and sarcastic. After me telling her I was yet to even receive an apology she responded with “course we are sorry but what do you want us to do”. I asked Olga for the member of staffs name so I could complain and was told it’s my colleague I continually had to ask for a name to which she responded her names Claire (in a very unconvincing voice) I asked her to clarify that the lady I was speaking to was called Claire to which she would not answer so I don’t even think her name was Claire. I eventually contacted customer services who was very apologetic and refunded my money immediately. After looking at other reviews of this hotel it seems the staff are rude to many visitors and the customer service in this hotel is none existent. I would like to mention receptionist Mandy who was in fact very polite and helpful if only all staff members had the same attitude this hotel wouldn’t have so many bad reviews mainly mentioning how rude the staff are!

Over book rooms despite assuring myself an accessible room would be available for myself only to find out by manager olga I should have been told all accessible rooms was fully booked.

Rude staff members and despite premier inns error in over booking I was still charged for a room even though due to been disabled I could not stay in a normal room so had to stay else where! Manager Olga refused to refund my money so I had to contact Premier Inn Customer services who looked over my booking seen that I had contacted the hotel early morning before my arrival requesting an accessible room so was more than happy to refund my money.

Pros - Customer service was faultless. Staff from the check-in desk to the cleaners were polite, welcoming, and attentive. The room was clean and presentable, and what you'd expect from a Premier Inn. I was pleased that free parking was offered to guests. Cons - The day that I stayed was a particularly hot day. The corridors within the hotel require moving air throughout. Currently, the air is stale, stuffy, and smells of sweat. Moving air would help tackle this issue. The towels within the room were awful. I was left covered from head to toe in fluff after use. I actually had to brush myself off, which is doubly difficult in a warm environment. They require replacing, as nobody can be happy with the current state of them. Another pet-peeve is filthy TV remotes. Mine hadn't been cleaned in some time. This item is one that is most definitely touched by every guest, and is often left on the bed amongst dirty bedding. I dread to think of the amount of bacteria on a remote that hasn't been cleaned in some time. Please clean them! Breakfast was disappointing. One of the foods that I always looked forward to were the flapjacks that Premier Inn used to offer. It seems that either they may no longer offer them, or this hotel has made the choice not to. I'm unsure what method is used to cook the bacon, but I would suggest that they were cooked for a little longer, as I hate undercooked bacon - pale, limp pieces of meat. In my opinion it should have slight browning to it (exactly as it looks on the breakfast menu). Also, little attention was being paid to the buffet, as there were items that required replacing that had been neglected for longer than I would expect - a pot of beans with no beans in it, just bean juice. My partner is vegetarian, and the bacon and sausage options were really poor. Dry, overcooked, and visually unappealing. Lastly, despite being in the open air fridge, the yoghurt was room temperature. Other than that, a generally OK stay.

On arrival the receptionist was blunt and had a attitude. I booked a family room as I had a child, on the original booking I booked 2 adults but arrangements can change and this was no issue for me. I needed the 2 beds anyway. She was not happy with this and was blunt. Anyway I went to the room, she didn't tell me I had to keep my key card in a slot on the wall to put the lights on, so I went to ask at reception and she laughed at me. Which is highly unprofessional. There was also a man in front of me who she rolled her eyes at dramatically when he asked what time breakfast was. If premier Inn have a reputation to hold, the lady in question needs evaluating. This was on the 3rd March around 8pm. I'm not usually one to write a bad review but it really is a terrible welcoming after travelling so far for medical needs. The beds are also uncomfortable, it's expected to be low for a budget hotel but the beds were like rocks. I wouldn't recommend staying if staff are rude like this, next time she could be informative as that's part of her job roll rather than leaving guests to guess. She isn't forced to work there if she doesn't like her job.

Reception staff are always fab. Always a pleasure to meet Emily and Claire, they remember my name even though I’m only here 6 days a month. They process my arrival in a happy, professional and efficient manner. Just what I need after a six hour drive. Lovely greeting, a credit to premium inn as they are the initial ‘face’ of the business.

Really good location and my room was clean albeit the room was tired and needed some tlc. As per normal the internet is poor unless you get the ultra and even then it's pretty bad. I did email Virgin who run the service but as of yet they have not responded. The people are very friendly and the hotel served its purpose.

There is a cinema in the same estate which is a five minute walk if that and plenty of fast food venues like Mcdonalds, KFC and Dominoes and hey, if that's not enough for you I'm sure I saw a Bingo place as well....who needs broadband right?......oh yeah....me!!!!

Sadly not one of my best experiences, we checked in late in the evening. The receptionist was quite incoherent, she asked if we required breakfast. Then did nothing to reserve a place , the room was not serviced. When l asked for towels the receptionist was very apologetic and advised the check in should have advised you have to request a service if staying more than 1 night. No replacement tea and coffee, so day 2 nothing in the room. The bathroom had a fixed shower head . Water came out of the bath and saturated the floor. No non slip bath mat, my small son slipped on getting into the bath. Badly brusing himself.....

The hotel itself was very good, specially in the very hot weather we were experiencing. Extremely displeased with the breakfast offered through Breyers Fayre. It was overpriced, I paid £10 for the full breakfast and ended up only having 1 sausage, a small potion of beans and an egg, no other food was bought out during the 20 mins I was there. My husband paid £8 for a crossaint and a muffin. No real coffee, was offered Keno instant. Would recommend just going to McDonald's across the road instead. Location in Bristol was great for our purpose. But it's in an area of nothingness. Closed restaurants and an aging cinema.

I came here for leisure with my family. When we entered the room we were disgusted at the amount of spiderwebs. We also found dead flies lying on the windowsill. The beds were really uncomfortable and the fans were extremely dusty. I am really disappointed at the state of the hotel room. However, some staff members were nice but others were rude. I was told that room service would only be available for one night. They told us to reuse the dirty towels and bed sheets on the other nights we asked for room service. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel.

I have stayed in plenty of Premier Inns and this was the worst experience I've had. We didn't have time to complain to reception but the head office refuses to respond properly apart from saying air conditioning wasn't advertised in the terms & conditions [as though that's something to be proud about]. Essentially the hotel provides a fan and a half-opening window, which do not allow for proper air circulation. It was like sleeping in a sauna. I had about two hours sleep. It was genuinely an awful experience. Yes, room was clean etc but if it's too hot you can't sleep! I used to like Premier Inn but not now.

One of the cleanest and modern rooms I've stayed at for sometime. I'm regularly staying at Premier Inn hotels. The bed and sheets were so comfortable, good size room and modern bathroom. The hotel is on the edge of a small retail park with other fast food options close by. On the evening of my stay the restaurant next door to the Premier Inn was so full I cancelled my reservation for 6:30pm. And walked over to domino's for a take away. Not sure if it was busy due to the lifting of recent covid rules. I would stay again, and recommend this hotel to others. Staff helpfull, breakfast and service spot on.

This premier Inn is a good location for the airport but a little too far out of Bristol. It also needs a refit, the TV is a little old hat not a smart one, the power sockets are just 13amp no usb charger points. There is no restaurant but it is attached to a brewers fayre next door for meals including the meal deal. Staff were pleasant and professional.

Not the usual standard of a Premier Inn. Rooms were worn and cramped. The corridors were dark and narrow making it very difficult to get a wheelchair past the cleaners' trolleys. Plenty of parking as the hotel is situated on a large entertainment complex with cinema and food outlets. It was handy for the Bristol City stadium, the city centre, the airport and for the motorway system. However, the breakfast was excellent - this was the usual Premier Inn standard.

Stayed here due to late flight back into Bristol. It’s a premier inn what do I need to say. Convenient, consistent, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, everything you’d need for a stay. If I needed a place to stay in the area again, wouldn’t hesitate going back! Thank you.

Only good aspect apparently was the price of the food we consumed. Quality was very average. By the time of its arrival, ( over half hour- the quality was akin to ready-meals) we were ravenous. The service was virtually no- existent because we had to order at the bar and for type of food it took a long time. I do not believe it was cooked from fresh. Although a clean, fresh atmosphere the upholstery was old, worn and sticky but obviously only in the area we sat in.

Lovely hotel with everything you need. I met Katie at reception to check in. She is a natural at customer service and was very sincere, really helpful and way better than most staff I’ve encountered when staying in 5 star hotels, she made me feel very welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back from the great service alone. But the bed is very comfortable and the room is very clean. Very happy customer!

Clean room but very hot and stuffy, there was a fan, but it just moved the hot air around. It was cool outside, so problem due to poorly ventilated building. Needless to say no aircon available. No sleep at all, not sure re their policy re good nights sleep or money back. Told receptionist, who didn't seem much bothered. Not sure I will go back!

As per all Premier Inn venues, the rooms are identical no matter where you stay so it's a little hard to rate the rooms. Suffice to say, they were as I'd expect them to be. Staff were helpful and friendly - overall, an enjoyable stay but nothing that makes this one stand out from all the others (maybe that's the point??)

A very clean hotel, to COVID standard! Sanitiser, perspex screens and masks compulsory. The staff were kind and helpful despite being very busy. The room was big, with a comfy bed. No air con but we had a fan that did the job. The breakfast was lovely, excellent customer service and COVID aware. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I was pleasantly surprised as my expectations weren’t very high due to the price.

Not a nice stay. No one at reception for 5 minutes, smelly room, extractor not working in bathroom so water running down all walls. 2 separate buildings so from reception we needed to go to another building. Ok to stay for 1 night maximum but I would not stay there again.

Very comfortable and clean room, great service. Was very warm in the room though and the windows do not open. Would like to suggest introducing table top oscillating fans for guests in each room as the heat was uncomfortable to sleep. Would stay again though as it was a lovely hotel and the bar also has an ice machine which can be used to take cold drinks in your room. Nice idea.

  • Tj Kerr-Moore

Very nice and clean hotel with plenty of eateries within walking distance. The room is a reasonable size to fit the travel cot provided, don't forget to bring blankets as they only provide a sheet. If your little one is used to a softer cot mattress bare in mind that you might want something for the travel cot base as the travel mattress, as always, is quite thin and hard.

When you come to this particular Premier Inn make sure you bring a physical credit card with you as their point of sale machine does not take Apple Pay. Tried to get my partner to pay over the phone but they wouldn’t do that ether. Had to embarrassingly ask another parent in our group to pay for me. Please update your technology from 1998 to the 2020’s

When we checked in, we were given an access room for disable persons. The bed was so uncomfortable and so low. The reason we paid £117 is only for the comfortable bed not for anything else. Such a disappointment. I don't think we will ever stay in Premier Inn again.

It’s a Premier inn. The standard is as expected at any other and if you use them regularly you still wake up wandering what part of the country you’re in until you look out of the window! Friendly staff and on a retail park with a few amenities although retail car park can be noisy with people using the McDonald’s across the retail park.

  • Moira Griffiths

Like a lot of the other Premier Inns that I've stayed in it passed with flying colours. Staff polite and helpful. Room easy to find. Cosy, quiet and the bed was very comfy. Good dark, heavy curtains kept the light out and we had a pleasant evening. Will definitely stay there should we ever go that way again.
