8/4/23-UPD Repost of contract of Bribery from PPP, didn't display, PLEASE READ! 7/28/23-UPD Added contract of Bribery in photos, PLEASE READ! 7/15/23-UPD DON'T USE PPP! STILL BRIBING ME TO REMOVE THIS REVIEW IN ORDER TO CORRECT NON-MATCHING PAINT JOB WITH SCRAPES ON WALL! 5/9/23- Started out ok w/Jordan as Acct Mgr, Liam as Proj Mgr. Jorge and Israel as painters. Both painters together averaged 5:45 hrs work on 2 days (long lunches), 3.5 hrs on last half day. Sloppy painting job, careless about detail, overlooked areas left incomplete. Areas where they stopped and started, looks like they didn't mix the paint again when restarting. When Liam showed for 'final walkthrough' there were too many errors to identify as fails. Paint on doors, walls, floors, switch plates. Chunks of walls were left unrepaired. Some issues Liam did try to correct. Tape still on appliances. I have significant health issues and made them aware where I would need extra help, they offered a bid knowing all info up front, and paid in full. Haven't gotten a return call on how to remedy from Acct Mgr Jordan. Still no response- "team" work had fallen apart. One painter's attempt to clean just created more dust, more of a mess. Painters disconnected my home phone more than once- so I could not conduct my business- like living a nightmare, leaving me holed up in my bedroom. Bottom line: NEVER USE PRECISION PAINTING PLUS! NOT TRUSTWORTHY! Please read on... Note that warranty starts when contract is signed, not when painting is complete. Also note feedback to positive reviews come from "owner" -no name. SAVE YOURSELF THE RIPOFF! VERY DISAPPOINTED, AND I PAID FOR IT IN FULL! UPD: Following the initial work I discovered that Jorge and Israel failed to properly connect the drainage pipe from my washing machine. Flooded kitchen- another nightmare. PPP offered me $75 for my trouble CONTINGENT ON ME UPGRADING MY RATING, not mentioned in email from Liam. I will Not be bribed nor lie to change my rating of any company! Liam now says they will still send check, no mention of contingencies. Second visit by Liam and painter Harry left more problems. It was 100% up to me to point out poor workmanship errors, else NO improvements would have been addressed, i.e., deemed acceptable to them. STIR THE PAINT! I'm left with 5-6 ft streak and marks that glare an unmatched color in my dining room! Expert painter?? NO THANKS, PPP IS A SHADY COMPANY, USE AT YOUR OWN PERIL! YOU'LL BE INTIMIDATED TO ACCEPT THE FINISHED WORK AS DEEMED BY PPP. TALK YOU OUT OF CORRECTIONS THAT ARE PLAINLY VISIBLE. SHAME ON PPP. DID RECEIVE EMAIL FROM PPP REP TONIGHT (6/19/23) (says 'owner'), availing himself for add'l assistance. Will vfy check promised, final corrections, and clean-up. We'll see if it's even worth entertaining after all they've already put me through. Will update as necessary. UPD 7/5/23 Spoke to Liam 6/22/23 indicating last round of errors were too glaring & could not be ignored. Also asked for confirmation note simply confirming the $75 chk (washing machine fiasco) was free for me to cash- no contingencies of BRIBERY to upgrade my rating. Liam said he would schedule himself & a painter to fix the new issues, but had to clear w/upper mgmt whether a simple "no contingency" note could be sent. WHAT?? Still no word on either issue. Delays, Bribery, all while the attn of owner claims PPP aims to please the Customer. LIES & EMPTY SALES TALK do not make for satisfied customers. Tired of the runaround, NO RESPONSE FROM ACCT MGR (Jordan Klein) since first day of painting; poor, unacceptable workmanship. Should have seen how 2nd painter "mixed" the paint in can, held can by handle and 'twisted' can in place. PPP, get the simple job done right! BEWARE THOSE LOOKING FOR QUALITY WORKMANSHIP!! -Or even adequate effort. You won't find anything remotely close w/PPP.
If you prefer not to get into the details in the last paragraph below, my advice is simple. Avoid them. They might have decent painting skills, but they have no clue how to do trim and molding work. They lack basic skills like measuring, making angle cuts, and routing. All their trim and molding work was sub-standard. I want to take a minute to address the owner's response. The portion of the work that was not clear in the contract, was to touch up the paint on the walls after replacing the base boards. In the end they completed this portion of work to my satisfaction. The specific portion of work that was substandard was the trim and molding work. While not specifically called out in the contract I had an expectation that as professionals, they had the ability to perform the basic carpentry skills of measuring, making 45-degree angle cuts, and routing to complete the task. Having to specify the use of basic carpentry skills to complete a task in a contract is absurd. In the end the delays they forced me to push out my listing date by a month, and cost me $681 in property tax, HOA fees, and insurance for that month. While appreciated, the discount they gave me in no way covers all my financial losses by doing business with them. The job was simple. Replace the 1x6 baseboards, and some pieces of door molding trim. The goal was to match the look of the existing trim and molding in the house. At no point in our meeting did they mention they would not be able to achieve that goal. The first problem is that they either lacked the knowledge or the tools to make 45-degree angle cuts for the corners. This is standard practice for cutting baseboards, and can be done easily by using a cheap miter box if you don't own a miter saw. Instead, they just made 90-degree cuts leaving the exposed ends of the boards extremely rough without any sign of sanding. There were also parts at the base door molding trim that required routed edge to match the existing molding. They either didn't have a router or didn't know how to use one to recreate those pieces. On top of that, they could not cut those pieces to the correct size leaving large gaps between the base piece and the door molding above. I had them come back 3 times to correct the problems. Each time they would do the minimal amount of work and hope that I wouldn't notice that they hadn't fully finished. A job that should have taken a maximum of a day for a professional wasn't completed for over a month. The materials costs were inflated. They did adjust the cost based on the low-quality results and the actual cost of materials, but I still feel like I paid too much. I was trying to get this house ready for sale and their delays cost me a great deal of money. Bottom line, if you value your time and money avoid Precision Painting Plus.
Overall, they did an average job. The individuals that actually painted the exterior did a great job. They didn’t do a good job of coordinating start and stop times but I think that was more in the project manager. I had to ask them to come back out for a second time because the painting they completed on the porch started to peel after a week due to a storm. The scheduling and project management was a really frustrating experience. I had a new scheduler so I don’t fault her for the her inexperience, but I had to provide my paint colors and finishes at least 5 times so I was really nervous that they wouldn’t show up with the right selections. The project management piece was taxing because I had three different individuals from point of scheduling to point of completion. The final PM did a great job of staying in touch and ensuring that I knew what was happening but I wasn’t told I was getting a new project manager every time they got reassigned. The first one had a family emergency so the second one showed up one day without calling and didn’t tell me that he was my new PM. And then he went on vacation when the first day of the project. So after the team didn’t show up an hour after their start time, I had to call the office, which is when they told me that I had a third PM. I wouldn’t recommend this company to a friend simply because of all of the handoffs and the need to repaint.
UPDATED again on 2/1/22: Someone from Precision came to the house to notify me that they’ll send someone to fix the issues i mentioned below and that I would be expecting a phone call the following week to get our home on their schedule. This was back in late November and here we are over 2 months later and nobody has reached out to me as promised to schedule the necessary touchups. Horrible service. Look elsewhere UPDATED as of 10/5: I initially gave Precision Painting a 5 star review after they painted the exterior brick of my home back in February of 2021. However after just a couple of months a lot of the paint was already starting to chip and show the red color of the brick underneath despite “a few coats” of paint being applied. It turns out they used wood paint instead of the proper type of paint for brick. After realizing this issue I reached out to my project manager Tyrutte to notify him, he said he would said someone. Nobody ever came, I emailed him again and was told someone was in the neighborhood and would come by and fix it promptly. Nobody ever came yet again, the song and dance went back and forth and nobody has responded to me in 5 months now and I’m left with an inferior product that i spent thousands of dollars on. Use at your own peril..
I had a privacy fence re-stained. I did not feel valued as a customer. The guys sent to do the work did not behave as professionals. They didn't properly cover all parts of the fence to avoid getting stain on them. They painted the brackets on the fence without my consent, I was told this is part of standard procedure. However, all the brackets were replaced and I'm very pleased with that. I'm still picking up pieces of blue tape they left in my yard and stain is on the grass in various places. My fence had old stain that faded (The Account Manager was informed in the beginning about this). However, I was told the day they arrived to do the work that I should have chosen a solid stain instead of a semi-gloss. I had to rush and pick a color the day of (STRESSFUL!!!) or risk the project being delayed. I learned a lot of valuable lessons through this experience, but I'm extremely glad it is over! Do your homework and ask lots of questions. The Company is not your friend, they want to get paid....
I worked with Precision Painting to have a ceiling painted in my living room and kitchen. I was pretty impressed with the organization of the whole thing. Here is the rough flow: - Estimate guy comes - Estimate provided - Approve estimate - Call with project manager - Schedule work - Job day arrives - Speak with contact--the sub-contractor didn't speak english but he was nice enough and used a translator app when I had a question. - They arrived at about 9AM and finished at about 3PM. Pretty quick! They were perfectly on time, which was appreciated. They cleaned more than the mess they made, e.g. they left it cleaner than when they arrived. The lines are very crisp, far better than I can do by myself. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the result! For reference, I paid a little less than $500 for painting two ceilings in a smaller condo.
PPP is very good at what they do. It was a pleasure working with the entire team from the first contact person to the paint crew. The supervisor checked on the progress every day - and continued to look over the job making certain things were going as we planned. The paint lead was very helpful and the paint crew were very nice too. The house looks incredible and like a brand new home. We had several accent walls - high ceilings and lots of doors to paint. These guys covered everything and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. We will continue to use PPP and have already referred a couple of friends looking for good people to help with their home improvement needs. Thanks!!
So many great things about working with Josh and his team. I tend to tag a long with my dad on his errands on his projects around the house. My dad really liked working with him. I was so impressed when he mentioned he's been in the painting industry for 13 years and it shows. He patiently answered all of my dad's 101 questions and walked him through the process along with sharing knowledge and details as to the reason why a certain type of paint would be best, etc. The team was great at what they do as well. I found my go to for painting projects! Will definitely recommend my family and friends to Josh of PPP of Dallas.
We installed new kitchen cabinetry and quartz countertops and wanted the kitchen painted to pull it all together. We wanted a faux finish to complement the veining in the counters. Not all paint companies even do faux finish these days because of the difficulty. Precision Painting Plus was retained and did a fabulous job. Their painters were completely professional and unbelievably efficient. The ceiling, walls, pantry doors and crown moulding were all completed in one day. The faux finish on the walls is always pointed out by guests as absolutely beautiful. Precision Painting Plus is now our go-to painters.
The estimate was not handled very well taking six plus iterations before being correct. The actual work went very well as the crew was very detailed and professional. The wrong address was given to mail the check and it took over a month to get it paid. The original check was supposed to be picked up by the foreman who did not arrive in time when the crew was finished. The check as then mailed to the address provided and returned nearly a month later by USPS as an invalid address. I then re-mailed the check to the correct address. Macarena was very helpful throughout.
I required the entire inside walls, trim and wainscoting of my 2300 sf home to be painted. The process from estimation to final review of completed work was flawless, with excellent written and verbal communications from the sales team, project manager and inside account rep. They were flexible when I had to reschedule the start date and quickly responded to changes made to the original estimate, which required the PM to obtain a new can of paint from a local source. I recommend them to anyone who wants their paint project finished with perfection.
For the overall part they did an excellent job. Completed quickly and any things we pointed out that needed to be fixed on the final walk through were completed immediately. My only suggestion is that you need to make absolutely sure that you have cleaned anything that you are planning to paint. Other than that, I do plan to use them again. They even re-stained some wood work that I wanted done to a darker tone, to get rid of the golden tones and did an excellent job on that as well .
I bought a condo and had replaced all of the windows due to fog, broken seals, noise and age.. however, I ordered white vinyl window frames and the HOA disapproved & said they needed to be bronze colored. After calling several paint businesses to be turned down, Josh and Kathy from Precision Painting Plus was able to help. They did an excellent job! They even provided their license & insurance docs! & I was able to get the HOA off of my back. I highly recommend this company!
The sales rep, outside project manager and painters were professional, caring and performed good work. The problem was with the out of state project scheduler who thought (poor) excuses allowed her to let one scheduled date after another to be re-scheduled. After three (3) months of excuses I had to step out of my comfort level to confront this person and we had an unpleasant exchange. The result was completion of the work within a few days.
I was surprised at how quickly they responded and completed the project. I am not 100% sure that part of the project was actually 100% done. I will use them again if the need arises. They were supposed to put 3 coats of paint on the door but, only started the painting about 1.25 hours before leaving. Additionally the wood work was supposed to be completely painted but they only used a small amount of the paint.
The entire team was very friendly and easy to work with. We had our exterior painted, including siding and trim, and before they started they repaired some rotted wood we had around the house. The work looks perfect and the workers were super clean and respectful of the property. Their pricing was also very fair and they offer payment plans if needed! Highly recommend.
Precision Painting did an excellent and timely interior paint job at our home. They weren't the "tidiest" at clean up afterward, but it wasn't anything that we couldn't take care of ourselves. They painted trim. doors, walls and shelves as well as repaired a hole in our ceiling that also needed texture. They were worth the money that we paid.
I got several bids to restain my fence. Precision paint was the highest bid also the most professional. I am very happy we went with them. They only use the best stain and they don’t cut corners. They were very helpful with their recommendations. They were careful and respectful of my property. Great job and I will use them again.
Isrial and his helpers did an excellent job. They were on time, very respectful of our property, and went above and beyond what we contracted for. The sales team did a great job and provided a competative bid and the workers delivered. When we are ready to paint again Precision Painting Plus is our first call.
I had all the window trims repainted, as well as the back door and garage on the exterior which only took them a day. Then I reuse them again for interior painting for a spare bedroom and bathroom and they completed that also in one day very professional job done no hassle and kept the work area clean.
Precision Painting did a fantastic job in prepping our home for sale. Our painters were courteous, clean and expert at their craft. It was also nice to have a Project Manager assigned to us, even though we had a relatively small job. The estimating, billing and sales process was first class!
Very competitive bid; great quality exterior painting and workmanship. Replaced exterior trim work at two or three locations. Good cleanup after the job. The project manager and work crew were easy to deal with and very professional. Job was completed on time and to my complete satisfaction.
They did an awesome job on the exterior painting of our office building. We added additional trim and are very happy with the result. Josh was very responsive and helpful and great to work with. We are looking forward to working with Precision again on our inside painting needs.
They painted walls and trim, removed a popcorn ceiling, painted the ceiling, they also painted my banister. Absolutly perfect. Also Liam my project manager was on time, very responsive and professional. I highly recommend PPP and Liam.
Needed interior update painting done short turn around. I made a mistake selecting trim color and Precision quickly corrected color to my satisfaction. Jason and Jordan provided professional services needed. Will use them again.
Used sprayer to stain the fence. Had go back over with brush to cover lightly stained areas. Came back a second time to restrain some areas. Response was good on request for respray. Pleased with final results.
The work performed was outstanding. Unfortunately the back office customer service is lacking professionalism and courtesy. I’m lowering my initial score due to how I was treated after the work was performed.
Had the crew stain my backyard fence. The price was affordable with flexibility on doing the work. The work was professional done thru the estimate process. A good experience overall.
PPP was phenomenal…. professional, courteous, flexible, hard working…. from the gentleman who provided a quote to the ones who painted, the service was smooth and neat and tidy.
They stayed in communication with me. Although I really didn’t know what I wanted the team understood and completed the tasks. Thank you I’m loving my new accent look.
Very happy with the work that was done. They painted the entire interior and trim on time as agreed. I will recommend Precision for quality work.
The guys who did the work on two separate trips were timely, professional and did a thorough job of clean up with respect for us and our home.
The whole team was a huge help in getting our project done, and their quality is top notch! I can’t wait to use them for another project.
Great company and beat all other prices. On time and finished as scheduled. Came back to touch up items once we completed project.
I had them paint my kitchen cupboards. They did s great job. They arrived on time every day and cleaned up before leaving.
Precision was great to work with easy communication and good pricing. I will come back for more work in the future.

Communication was great and the paint job was done as planned. I love the new color!
Very quick and professional. I was so thankful we hired them to stain our fence!
Pleasure to work with; flexible to some changes after project agreed to.
Sent me a quote 10X the cost of the next highest bidder.
They did a good job very detailed.
