really bad service can't even be honest. truth goes a long ways. Considering there are T,C that should be meat under Law. Over $800 in orders told was sent on the 10/9but still no tracking number over 24hrs later. Next to contacting the pharmacy banner they run under.someone should be held accountable.Misleading patients and unconscionable conduct Patients can be physically, psychologically or financially affected by misleading conduct, and these effects can be long lasting. It is essential that patients be given honest, accurate and complete information in a form they can understand. Under the Competition and Consumer Act, members of the medical profession must take care not to: mislead patients relating to fees, procedures or outcomes use misleading advertising relating to qualifications, area of expertise, fees, procedures or outcomes act unconscionably by acting in bad faith and deliberately taking advantage of patients who are disadvantaged by: ignorance of important facts that you know but they don’t understand financial problems infirmity or age lack of understanding of the nature of the transaction lack of assistance or explanation when these are necessary a special disadvantage that impairs their capacity to judge what is in their best interests, such as English being their second language or situational factors causing a lack of practical alternatives.

No issue for months, seemingly great and well mannered staff consistently ordering and receiving medication without any issue. Couple weeks ago was sent an incorrect order and forced to pay for both their mistake and to send a replacement facing multiple delays on each delivery. (From their end not Australia post) In attempting to contest that they should instead pay for their mistake (later learned wasn’t even a mistake but stock shortage and didn’t bother to check prior to sending out the initial order - as well as lying about stock for replacement later on) was faced with them unconscionably holding out and applying delaying tactics to exert pressure until I relented and acquiesced to their ludicrous demand. Held at complete hostage by supplier of my medication. They’ve refused to negotiate amicably on any solution and called my request that they instead pay for what wasn’t even an accident but intentional action, unreasonable and offered to transfer scripts which to my knowledge cannot be transferred …. (Arash via email utterly unconscionable, the older sounding lady with (Scottish?) accent - utter mole of a women)

Prahran Amcal is the best pharmacy in Melbourne hands down. The amazing service from Arash and Liz is fantastic and next level, they always go above and beyone for me in so many ways and I am very grateful to them. Tiana is also a bright spark, as are the other staff, always so happy to help. I have been going to this pharmacy for about 15 years and It is honestly amazing. I also recommend it for Medical Cannabis, once again Liz is very knowledgeable and they navigate the whole dispensing of this so well. Particulary helpful for newcomers on their cannabis journey. Thanks must also go to Leanne, who delivers the medication rain, hail or shine and she is also lovely!...In 15 years I have only had positive experiences, and would say this pharmacy is an important part of my overall support team.

absolutely nothing but good things to say about the team at Amcal Prahran! I have been receiving timely deliveries from them for over a year now, their responses are always prompt and have even emailed back within actual seconds(?!), which still blows my mind. Liz and Louise are both absolute gems, they try their best with the changing landscape and have always kept me up to date, asd well as taken the time to talk to me over the phone whenever required. Camille has also taken a few of my calls too, and has been a blast to talk to! Thank you so much to the whole team at Amcal Prahran for being a radical, pain-free pharmacy to deal with!

Terribly rude and unhelpful staff who cannot be trusted to do their jobs. I called in advance to secure a specific item and they lied to me over the phone and said that it was available and in stock. When my partner arrived to pick it up shortly after they then said that they did NOT in fact have the product we needed and tried to sell us a more expensive alternative (not the one requested by my health care professional). Do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere.

Arash Targi was dismissive and behaved unethically. His pharmacy failed to communicate about my script which caused a 12 day delay. They told me they would post the medication they had in stock and then days later, when this wasn't actioned, lied to cover their tracks. Then when I expressed they behaved unethically they called me aggressive, cancelled the script and refused to dispence anything. This puts my health at risk. AVOID these people if you rely on medication.

Harsh and the team at Amcal pharmacy Prahran are like family. They remembered us after visiting for such a short time, always helpful, pleasant and always ready to answer any questions or concerns you may have. All in all a great place to acquire medications, toiletries, cosmetics and a great range of hair dyes according to my partner lol. Do yourself a favour, if you need a local, helpful caring chemist and you are in range you can't go wrong

The service and attitude that my partner dealt with the other day from one of the workers Katherine was disgusting. The way her tone changed when my partner mentioned the medications she was after is NOT on - people who are already suffering anxiety do not need to be put up with being belittled on the telephone. I hope Katherine is spoken to in regards to how to deal with customers in the future or sacked if she can’t get her act together

Unfortunately my experience at this Pharmacy was just horrible. Staff was rude, not wearing their mask correctly, not able to assist or knowledgeable on how to process a refund and then I was threatened by them to call the police on me if I don’t leave. Absolutely just horrible experience. We live in a world where customer service and attention seems to have disappeared. Just embarrassing!!!!

I’m new to the area and I’m thinking this is gonna be my local pharmacy. Went in the other day, served by a guy called Arash, he was professional and had great attention to detail unlike my last pharmacist who lost all my scripts. Saw that they have Tatts in there too which was interesting. Mr Arash and his team have got a fantastic thing going here so I’ll probably be back. Recommend.

Been to this pharmacy many times over the years, love their service and product range. Never had an issue with return either, they always try their best to help. Pharmacists there are very efficient, never had to wait long for a script. If I'm looking for something they don't stock they get out of their way to do a special order for me! Will continue to support this local pharmacy.

Head pharmacist has no bedside manner or concept of politeness, refused to dispense medication I had a script for even though I’d called up to check it was okay first, proceeded to be condescending, short with me, made me feel embarrassed and was totally unhelpful. Went to Priceline down the road and they dispensed the medication with no problems, strange.

Worst pharmacy don't take their job seriously you pay express pharmacy fees to have a medication asap and they dont take you seriously at all even when you try to chase it up and they are just casual about it oh yeah "we are so busy atm" with a different reason every time Then hire more people or don't charge a hefty pharmacy express fee

I live in WA and my husband and I order two products regularly from Prahan Amcal. Our experience has been fantastic, so much so that we prefer to order our medication from them vs the WA pharmacies that stock the same product. A special thank you to Liz who is always so organised and friendly over the phone.

As somebody whom visits a pharmacy often, Prahran Amcal the Pharmacists ARASH and all the others, including the helpful ladies and Liz, Make my experience a pleasant one. Highly recommend for old and young. I have family and friends in the double digits that visit this store and have been for decades.

These girls have been helping out for years and are always friendly. Processing scripts after hours so I can just swing in and out without being exposed to too much people as I've a immune issue. Stayed open 5min longer foe me after running late and always Sympathetic to my condition.

I have a medical marijuana script with these guys via Medicann and Prahran Amcal have made the whole process smooth, easy and professional. I have only had phone contact with them but the staff are just lovely! Can't recommend enough.

I usually buy my medicine here as I am a local but when I wanted to get a document certified, they said to come back after 4 hrs for a one page document. Never again will I come back here. Clearly they don't want to do it..

Didn't have a consession medication in stock & didn't even know when it was supposed to come in! Also this place has the worst service they hardly know what they're doing half the time & always keeps putting you on hold!

My son rang asking about his medication was spoken to by a girl at the pharmacy that came off quite rude telling him to email an address he'd emailed earlier without response. Hope this isn't a normal reaction

I've dealt with many pharmacies in the past which were mediocre at best but this one is different. Each time I've spoken to LIz she has gone out of her way to help a complete stranger, definitely recommend.

Rude arrogant staff. Posh lady with big blonde hair, about 50, called my daughter a nuisance for touching something. Will never go there again. Way cheaper chemist warehouse just up the road.
