You know when someone just doesn't want to help you? if you don't know that feeling, the clerk there will surely make you feel that way. I showed up to mail a large envelope, he helped with putting a stamp and then when I mentioned that my envelope isn't sealed, he said that they (canada post) no longer help you with this (COVID) ... fair enough. So I waited for the line of customers to clear and asked what solutions does he propose .... am sure others have faced this issue ... nothing, I can't help you and the look of please leave; I even thought of using hand sanitizers as a liquid to activate the envelope's glue ... not a good idea. So I left the store and then went back in and started looking for some glue or tape and guess where I found it? right at the stand where he is located, so I pick it up and show it to him and the look on his face of being caught! I asked couldn't you have proposed it to me (surely it's not free, but I happily bought it) and he started a defensive rant and arguing back and forth ... all of this to avoid giving decent customer experience. Noone forced this job upon you, don't do it if you don't want to be helpful
Worst most horrible Post Canada experience (wish I could give 0 stars as a rating). Like others have said here, this branch should be closed down. At every Post Canada I've been to, I've had at least a minimal amount of help sealing my packages. Not only was I tossed aside because I was ''in the way'' because my packages weren't ready to be sent out right away, but I was given attitude when I said I was surprised they didn't even have the plastic folders to put the return label in. I was also made to feel awkward that I asked to use their tape and scissors. It might not be your policy to help out with this, but then have consistent service throughout your branches. I was so mad I just left, and I will be going to my usual Post Canada branch where I actually feel respected and they have a sense of what customer service is. Avoid avoid avoid!
Both clerks (an old man and a young man) are so rude. They barely even speak, or look at you when you talk to them. I've never experienced this kind of treatment at any another Post Canada desk. Please either teach them how to deal with costumers or just change them with the regular friendly (such those amazing crew of Post Canada desk at Pharmaprix near Concordia). It wasn't even busy over there, and it's not the first time I have to deal with them (close to my work).
I had a watch coming from this location. The item was supposed to be delivered on the 4th of March and was picked up by this facility on feb 28th. The watch not only has yet to arrive but only got processed at this facility on March 6th 2 days after it was supposed to arrive here let alone depart the post office... Staff are obviously disorganized and untrained this is rediculous.
The operations team somehow decided that it is wise to send on a break one of the clerks during the 12 pm - 1 pm timeframe, when literally is the only time they have peak demand. The only clerk left was highly inefficient took him ~15 minutes to send an envelop, and spent more time organizing the line instead of doing his job. Horrible outlet, try to avoid at all cost.
Worst customer service. This location in Place Ville Marie should either be closed or change your staff asap, but don't torture your clients by leaving it as is. We are a business client, and if we gave the level of rude service we received here, we would be bankrupt.
Miserable and unfriendly clerk working the desk. Hardly spoke at all, did not make eye contact, acted annoyed when I asked how many stamps were in a booklet. Looked like he was sitting & texting on his phone with his back to the store before I approached the counter.
A plain jane letter with 3 letter size paper to the same city cost more than $2? Talking about getting exploited by quebec public servant when you look out of time. I didn't get this kind of treatment in other provinces.
Super great clerks, I don't know why people leave negative comments on them (yes there's an older and younger man) which are friendly and helpfull. Please do not mistaken shyness with rudeness
I arrived at 5:01pm and someone yelled at me from the back room saying it was already close
Un accueil et un sens du service vraiment professionnel et chaleureux.
Most efficient post office experience i’ve ever had

The most unnecessarily rude staff
