4/5: A great massage, but not the best massage experience I’ve had in Thailand. Came in here on a late afternoon looking for a massage. I sat down browsing the menu, and had one of the ladies hovering over me, trying to get me to choose. I felt a bit rushed, so I quickly settled for the Thai massage with menthol. Honestly, I felt like the masseuse doing my massage was a bit rude. Maybe that’s just how she talks, which I can understand, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. She sounded annoyed at me and it felt like I was being ordered around, rather than being directed on what to do. Why was it like that? Not sure; I didn’t give a reason to be treated this way. Honestly, after a couple of minutes inside, I kinda just wanted to leave. But I couldn’t, because I already paid for the massage. I didn’t like that I had to pay for the massage first. It’s not a huge deal, but it is weird for me and of all the massages that I’ve had in Bangkok/Thailand, this was the first place that did that. Do you go to a restaurant and pay for the food before eating? No, that’s silly. To me, this situation was the same. Otherwise, the rest of the experience was positive. The massage itself was quite nice. The strength was adequate and the menthol felt very healing. The massage room was clean, as well as the clothes that they had me wear temporarily. The cat in the lobby is quite cute, too! And I was given tea after the massage, which is always appreciated. Overall, this is still a nice place for a massage. Maybe my masseuse was just tired or having a bad day, I’m not sure. I’d suggest Plumeria consider having customers pay after the massage, not before. Trust is essential to a business, and making customers pay first says that you don’t trust them. I’d also suggest that the staff give customers enough time to choose what they want without making them feel pressured. Just some suggestions for improvement! I would still recommend coming here.

Like with the other bad reviews, the owner will probably argue on the legitimacy of my review, or my experience with Thai massages. So I would preface this by saying that I typically do 2-hour Thai deep tissue massages on a weekly basis, and my massage therapists in Thailand have at least 15 years of experience with multiple certifications. I brought my family of 5 to Plumeria to massage in the evening of 17 June 2023 (providing the actual dates since the owner likes to check her CCTV to refute bad reviews). The massage rooms are located on the second and third floor. The stairs are extremely steep and narrow. The ceiling very low so you will hit your head as you go up the stairs. Definitely does not meet safety standards, but it's the limitations of the shop space. It's probably our fault that we decided to massage in the evening at around 8pm. The masseuse were yawning throughout the session. My mother and aunt had bad rashes on their arms and face - only the areas where their bare skin touched the mattress and pillow, so it's definitely not allergies to the massage oils. I was given a set of clothes that had very strong male body odour. As compared to the other sets of clothes my family had, the scent is completely different and devoid of the same laundry scent. Of course, I asked for a change to a new set. I stupidly purchased their membership package. Do not make the same mistake I did. Try out their massage first, before deciding if you would like to purchase their package.

Would not recommend. Went there twice (only because it was near my hotel) and was disappointed both times. The staff seem inexperienced and not know what they're doing. The first time I went, my masseuse missed out certain areas or only did one side and not the other. You are encouraged to tell them how strong you want the massage, and I like mine very strong. That being said, my masseuse stepped on my calves and accidentally triggered and pulled a muscle - there was a loud cracking sound. She did try to press it out but I was left with a sore leg. I opted for a combination body and foot massage, and the foot portion was disappointing as well - my masseuse didn't seem to know where the trigger points were. Unfortunately I went back a second time on my very last night as it was close to my hotel and I had an early flight to catch. I thought I'd give it a second chance with a different masseuse, but the second time was even worse. This time, my masseuse applied so little pressure that I didn't feel anything. I kept asking her to increase strength (almost five times) but still not much change. There was no energy and she would only apply a few strokes before going to the next area - barely enough to work out the knots. Again, it felt like they were very inexperienced, and a waste of my time and money. A disappointing end to my time in Bangkok. One star only because of the location and the cute cat. I do regret coming back twice.

Amazing massage, perfect service! The massage itself was unexpectedly incredible. I got 1hr Thai massage and the lady cracked my whole body with just the right pressure without any of my direction as to the level of pain, which does not happen often and is pretty incredible actually. But massage aside, the hospitality you get here is something that definitely differentiates this place from any other massage shop. They genuinely care about customer satisfaction and are truly warm and kind people in nature. Due to my weird flight schedule I had to head to the airport right after the massage and the owners kindly answered my questions on moving around in the city in time, even though it had nothing to do with the reservation. They also sent me off making sure I get the correct taxi to the airport. All in all, very pleasant experience. Not only great massage and spa, friendly and warm welcome, relaxing and clean place that you can have from here. But, the lovely cat is waiting for your visit and also take care with her charming. Most enjoy and impressive. 4/8/2022 Come back to have massage with this place again and still happy likes previously. This time I have foot massage 1 hour and aroma massage 1 hour (I choose coconut aroma from the lady's recommendation) which help me so much relaxing and recovery from hard days. I recommend aroma massage for who want to have massage but concern about painful. It can help your skin more silky and moisturize, and also make you feel cozy and relax with the smelling. Still be good and clean place, and also good services. The cute white cat is so lovely likes before. Good choice for massage on Surawongse road.

Splendid massage as always!!!! I am now recharged and relieved as new. As Im staying at Marriott Surawong Hotel everytime I ve visited Bangkok. This place is my favorite place. Even it is a old chinese style building turn to local spa shop. But, the hospitality here is very friendly, nice, hygiene, skillful with reasonable price. From walkin customer turn to regular customer, I massaged with masseuses here. They are all professional. They help me fix my body's pain. As for today, I m just finished Hot Aromatherapy Massage for 2 hrs (1,800 B). And it s perfect for me. Ps. I make a little chat with reception after I saw previous comment about customers who came and gave good feedback because of they hadn't had proper massage in Bkk. Don't make me laugh!!!

I visited Plumeria Spa yesterday and enjoyed the services here. I was recommended aromatherapy massage, body scrub, and facial spa. The staff was very well trained. They provided the service politely and professionally. They correctly know how to treat and recover me from stress and pain. The place is very clean and serene as well as the products used here are very good quality. In my opinion, the price is reasonable and appropriate compared with the service quality obtained. I can spend the time here for 3 hours or the whole day without boring. This is the place I will absolutely come back!!!

No skill/technique and questionable hygiene. We got aroma massage (1000baht) and Thai massage (400baht) but aroma oil had no smell and there was no proper technique for massage, the room and towels looked dirty and towel had holes. Although it was supposed to be 1 he it was more like 30-40 min. We went here because we we’re staying at Marriott hotel and it’s the closest massage place, but the quality is so poor. I think good reviews are either because of people who like cat or because of people who have not had a proper massage massage in Bangkok…would not recommend

Fantastic massage! Everyone is super polite and very professional, and the place is nice and clean. Lots of rooms across a couple of floors so they can accommodate many people at one time. I had the 1 hour body scrub for 750 baht; they have multiple scrubs to choose from (the Himalayan salt is wonderful). Husband got the 1.5 hour Thai massage + foot reflexology and highly recommends! Sadly we didn’t see the cat because it was sleeping, but there is a cute little chair for it next to the desk

직원분들 모두 친절하시고 꼭 재방문하고싶은 곳이에요. 타이마사지는 전에도 받아봤지만 이렇게 시원하고 만족스러운 건 처음이라 신기할 정도입니다. 전에 타이마사지 받을 때는 끝나도 개운하다는 느낌이 없고 아프기만 했는데 여기서 받고 나서야 '아 원래 이래야 되는 거구나' 했어요. Thai massage with balm으로 한 시간에 600바트였어요. 평소에도 야돔 향을 좋아해서 선택했는데 시원하고 딱 좋았어요. 너무 좋은 말만 하는 것 같아서 덧붙이자면 원래는 좀 더 후기 많고 럭셔리한 곳 가려고 했는데, 막상 저녁 돼보니 너무 피곤해서 시설이고 뭐고 따질 거 없고 그냥 숙소에서 제일 가까운 곳 아무데나 가자 해서 여길 고른 거였어요. 근데 이렇게 만족스러운 마사지를 받다니... 큰 행운이에요. 마사지사 Jit과 귀여운 고양이 money, 그리고 친절하게 응대해주신 프론트 직원분덕분에 처음부터 끝까지 웃으면서 나올 수 있었어요.

Went at night to check and the next morning went for a Aroma hot oil and foot massage. It was the best. First time in a long time that I slept while getting a massage. Both reception speaks great english and explains what to get, never push for the expensive package. The staff I had spoke english also too. Only issue might be walking to the location, but that's normal around this area. Last but not least is the Cat , very cute

I was staying at marriott and went here , this is a great massage place , had slight backpain and I left without it . Place is clean , do checkout their catalog , i went for the 400 THB 1 hr traditional massage which is done without oil and can be strong for some , but in my opinion it worked great for me . Btw another elderly had oil massage and he was snoring in middle of the session . Enjoy the massage from the experts

Me and my girlfriend love this spa, very welcoming, great prices and really nice massages! We had Thai massages and also foot reflexology, we’ve been many times during our stay in Bangkok as it was right next to us at the Marriott Hotel, but even if it wasn’t we would have been happy to travel! Make sure you meet the cat while you’re there

I did the 1h aroma oil Massage with the lemon-lavender oils. The masseuse did a really good job in massaging all the right points where I had problems. The oil smelled really good. I feel very relaxed after the massage. The staff was also very nice and the cat was really cute. Thank you :)
