The Little French Restaurant (November 2019) Not authentic and very disappointing! Red house wine fine. Bread and butter very nice. Starter: OK overcooked chicken liver and chanterelles. Not chanterelles but supermarket button mushrooms in soy-ish sauce. Tasted like an experiment. Main course: Salmon Escollope? Salmon with mixed dried herbs on a bed of frozen mixed veg baked in tinfoil until dry with frozen 'French' fries. 1980's TV dinner style. Not restaurant quality. Desert: Tiramisu was very nice and seemed home made. I don't believe the chef was French or any of the staff. Faux-French perhaps... The £16.50 plat du jour with limp frozen fries (uneaten) plus 1 red wine and service charge somehow became over £25. ----- Had some amazing food in Paris (Summer 2019) cooked perfectly from superb ingredients for little more money with great wines. Expertly simple cooking! ---- A message to the new proprietors "Pizza Piccolo Restaurant" who in Jan 2022 accused me of fabricating my review to hurt people. I updated my review to make it even more obvious that it was previously a "French" Restaurant I attended in November 2019. The food in my photos is not Pizza and the sign says "French Cuisine". They then idiotically accuse me of editing the review to change historical order. Your problem is with Google. You need to update that you are a new business. Not troll honest reviewers which makes you look stupid. Are you The same owner as "The Little French Restaurant"?

A vegan review. Looking for a Chinese takeaway I stumbled on Pizza Piccolo’s vegan menu in the window. I was surprised to see a ‘full’ vegan menu, not just a token pizza to show willing. It boasted no less than 15 named vegan pizzas and 25 toppings to mix and match to make it perfect. Feeling hungry, it had 9 starters and 3 different types of fries including sweet potato fries. Pizza not your thing? They offer 4 different vegan burgers, 2 vegan wraps and vegan fish and chips. Got a sweet tooth? They have 6 vegan desserts too Crazy. The restaurant looked cute and the manager helpful. Opting for the 15 inch vegan chicken and chilli pizza in with sweet potato fries, I had a ten minutes wait on a comfy chair before departing with my take away. Back at the hotel the pizza tasted delicious. The chicken tasted really good and the green chillis added a mild heat to spice it up. The fries we’re crispy and tasty too. Would I go back - Yes and to sit in too. Would I recommend - Yes.

I had a hard time rating this place. A small, tucked away little and apparently popular restaurant in the heart of Earl's Court, a mere 1 minute walk from the station. Inside is really rustic with wooden benches and some chairs. The staff were amazingly friendly and joked and chatted along with people, it gave to a great atmosphere. The food was just ok, we went for the cash only set menu, am unsure why it was cash only seeing as you could pay with card for everything else but we had cash. Starter was ok but nothing to really rave about, I asked without cream due to my dairy intolerance but still arrived with the cream on top anyway. Main course was not bad, I enjoyed it but it was not memorable. Then came time for dessert, everything was dairy based but then i saw apple pie with ice cream, so I requested that minus the ice cream. The pie was microwaved and just plain soggy, the one thing I could not finish, which is a real shame. Overall 3 out of 5, mainly for the friendly staff.

We have just had the best meal, wine and service ever! My wife cannot have dairy so discovering the offerings that Pizza Piccolo have was fantastic! The vegan selection was amazing!! The cheese they use is perfect! I opted for the lasagne and it was the best lasagne I've had outside of italy!! I only wish i was visiting longer so i could eat here more! The story on how the restaurant became italian from french was a true story of survival with what we've been through as a world the last few years. They have executed their cuisine and should not be missed by anyone, you will not be disappointed. I'd like to add the house red was delicious too, I'm always apprehensive when ordering as a lot of places will throw out any cheap wine at you that makes your face screw up on tasting but theirs is so smooth it was very complimentary to the meal. Bad service. For this area, this is a very very low quality service. Food is good, but the guy who was serving us had no idea how to behave...No smile, not pleasant at all... We ordered food for 35 pounds, but in the beginning he said he won't give us a table unless we get the main course... Actually we got a lot of starters, plus wine, plus desert, that cost more than the main course , but the guy was, meh, you are cheap so I won't give you a table... until we started counting how much we are going to spend...(what??) We used to love this place and I gave them 5 stars before... But now I take everything back, because I believe that the customer is always right. No questions asked... Especially if we HAD money to burn... If you are the owner reading this... just fire your service people and get good waiters... These are spoiling your restaurant, especially if you have good food. I think you can do better than this. Thanks and have an awesome day!

Taken aback by how well this unassuming little restaurant caters for Vegans. The pizza here is absolutely incredible and there's a wide selection of pizza to choose from for Vegans (including plenty of Vegetables, vegan cheeses and plant based meats) and a large starter and dessert menu. The dough is incredible If I could offer one criticism, as is fair on any review, it would be to pre warm the fillings (I assume they're taken straight out of a fridge?), as they could have done with being hotter, but this is purely a little suggestion. Will definitely be back some time.

If I can give zero stars for this place I would! We only went into this place as it looked empty at 6.45pm on a Friday night. It was meant to be 3 of us but my husband was running late. The crude waiter would not allow me to order first and said he can’t let us have a 3 seater table if my husband does not arrive soon. It’s ridiculous when the restaurant was half empty!!! Why be this inflexible and when you are up against so many better eateries around!!! There is absolutely nothing to rave about on the quality or variety of the menu nor the ambience of this place. I truly would not recommend this place when there are so many other places to go at Earls Court for better value and warm service!

My husband and I dined here on a week night and really enjoyed our meal. We're ordered the bruschetta, a pizza, and the tiramisu. The service was excellent and our food was a good value for the quality. The menu featured a lot of dishes that I would love to try in the future. A great quiet restaurant and so glad we found it!

Amazing pizza place along a quite walking street , it reminds me of italy and is an excellent sit down. The service was amazing as they were very polite and excited for people to enjoy their cooking. It had a very nice open brick wall and decorations reminding of a pizza deli. It was small room but with lots of space for small parties of people to have a nice stop for any occasion.

Visiting London for my son's 10th birthday, I had already looked online for restaurants local to the hotel. I am glad I chose here and not a big chain restaurant. The food was delicious, so much flavour, the music was great really added to the atmosphere. The chef even sent up desert for my son and it was served singing happy birthday. This wasn't expected nor requested, yet my son was thrilled. Could not recommend enough.

Nice variety on the menu. Very reasonable prices. We had the chicken, pork and lamb dishes all of which were OK individually. For example, the pork was a little dry / overcooked. However, what was really good was combining the honey/soy/tobasco sauce from the pork dish with the Lamb Wellington, which yielded a very nice barbecue lamb taste. Visiting again, I would ask for the Lamb Wellington dry, with the honey sauce on the side.

Very enjoyable meal. Food was excellent, fresh and made with joy. The three-course set menu offers options for every taste bud. I quite enjoyed the Fresh Marinated Salmon and Lamb Wellington. Topped the meal off with a slice of apple pie with ice cream - and it was yummy! Customer service was tremendous and overall dining experience was a treat. Highly recommend The Little French Restaurant.

Went for my birthday. The staff were very attentive , friendly & genuinely wanted to know that everything was ok . Food was amazing & the meat soo tender. Good size portions too. Couldn't believe the prices ! They really could charge more . We paid just under £17 per person for three course 's . Would gladly have paid more . Thank you for a truly wonderful evening .

Three things: 1) this place has great pizza. I almost ordered somewhere else when a loved one intervened (more of an intervention, really) 2) when business owners respond to reviews you know they care about products/services, and c) the pizza is fresh and new while also tasting “classic”. In a slightly sketchy location but great food at a silly good price. €14 for a soup/entree/dessert. French onion and vichyssoise were the highlights. Lamb Wellington was more of a stewed/shredded cut, not a rare steak like in the beef version. Can definitely overlook for the price and good service. Very small so you might have to wait for a table.

Love the place! A wide variety of Vegetarian, Vegan & Meat Pizzas & so so good. The pizzas are big & the prices are reasonable. Must try!

My Daughter and I stumbled upon this great easy little pizzeria. If you are in this part of London check it out. My 12" pizza was delicious, ate within minutes, so thin and cooked very well My daughter had the Pasta Napoly this to she polished off with no issue. Great price, great service this place I think is a sleeper among the locals.

What a really lovely service, we were so welcomed with our children, we chatted, we over ate lovely food, that fed us lunch the next day too!! Lovely restaurant with lovely owners and great food, I'm so grateful for Google for helping us find you tucked away.

After bland food at the hotel, what a delight to find this nice little pizzeria! The pizzas were the best we have eaten in a long while. The place was clean and well decorated with a nice European feeling. The owner chatted with us a bit and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!

This place was a nice surprise! We were just walking along, looking for somewhere to eat, when we came across this little, cosy French restaurant. Great food and affordable prices. We chose a 3 course menu, and everything tasted great. We both had "Lamb Wellington" as our main course, and it was just delicious!

Literally stood outside when we got an urge for pizza. Chicken wings were plump, juicy and tasty. Garlic and cheese bread was larger than anticipated. Pizza( 15" Napolitana) was the best I've had for a LONG time. All round excellent meal. Highly recommended.

This is the pizzeria from hell. A total scam! FRAUD! Do NOT order from them. My pizza never arrived, they just took the money and refused delivery. When I called them to complain, they put down the phone. Had to spend 1 h trying to get my money back from Uber. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NEVER AGAIN

On a Saturday evening the restaurant was full. We took the menu at £10.95. Food was not too bad, not impressive. House wine was drinkable. Service a bit sad.And with the wine and vegetables we had to pay £20 each. So average value for money. I won't go back there, but not a disaster.

Went to this restaurant with a couple of friends. Had the set menu. As a French person myself I thought the food was ok, very average but the value for money was fine. I wouldn’t recommend if you want real traditional French cuisine though, my mom cooks better food than this place.

A very nice Italian restaurant with a very authentic Italian taste to their dishes. Great price for the quality. I ordered a Penne Amatriciana for dinner and it was great. Definitely will come again 10/10

This is a lovely little restaurant with a nice prix fixe dinner, or regular menu, if you prefer. Cash only. Opens at 6:00 pm. If you are not having a bottle of wine that you carefully select from the wine list, get beer instead! The house wines are very poor quality. Bon appetite!

This hidden litte gem is great for dinner. The food is really good and well priced. I have been on two occasions now and both times have been excellent. The menu has a small selection, but there is something for everyone. And no matter what you choose you wont be disappointed

Under £10 for a 3-course menu? Unheard of! The chicken liver starter deserves special mention, but the main and dessert were scrumptious too. A rather small but cosy interior made for a lovely date night dinner. I will be back to try the other options on the set menu!
