If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered from them at 11:45am for a party at 2.30pm. At 2:45pm three hours later, no pizzas, no call, no update, tracking online says order is still processing (it was processing since 11:45am). I spent RM260, all wasted, but worse thing is that all the guests arrived and no food. Wouldn't 3 hours be enough to send the food? In those 3 hours we tried to contact them but all their contact info online is wrong - phone number on google is dead, WhatsApp number on fb is dead, instagram messenger and call is dead, basically no way to contact them. We even wanted to drive to their location to pick it up myself (I prepaid for lalamove) but from all the other reviews it seems that all their addresses online are wrong also. What's the worst? I emailed them a week before via their contact form on the website to say that I'm pre ordering a large-ish order on a specific date. We had to run out and order domino's which sent the same amount of pizzas but in only 30 minutes. Ordered at 2:20pm, arrived at 2:50pm. Finally at 3pm pizzaexpress called and asked us if they can start cooking now. We're like what? No! Party is already started, we already ordered domino's, don't want and we asked for a cancellation and refund. The person who called us (number is ‪+ 6 0 1 9 2 6 0 4 1 3 3‬ via WhatsApp) said ok can refund. But minutes later via WhatsApp say cannot refund anymore and they proceeded with our order. We tried to call back but they just ignore all our calls. We were furious but what can we do? Pizzas arrived at 4:17pm, a full 4 and a half hours later, 1 hour and 15 minutes after they called us to ask if they can start cooking. We ended up with 16 pizzas (8 from domino's and 8 from pizza express) So much money and food wasted. If you want to order from them, please don't unless you have 4 hours to spare. Don't expect any contact from them either because it's impossible to get in touch with them. Do not order self pickup! All their addresses are wrong. I have not tried grab before but they don't have 2 pizza deals there. I would wager at least Grab can help ensure the order is fulfilled. Maybe that's what happened, they prioritise grab and last last only do the website orders. Last but not least, their large pizzas are more regular sized. And in the end, people likes the dominos pizzas more. Horrible horrible experience. Would not recommend them at all.

First order but an extremely, extremely bad experience. The issues: 1. Order placed at 5.30 pm. Between that and around 6.50 pm, the status was "cooking". At or around 6.50 pm, the status changed to "delivery". Food only arrived at around 7.40 pm. (Note: Made a call to the shop at around 7.30 pm and was told that the delivery person had left around 10-15 mins earlier. Was the person telling the truth or was the website status more accurate ? Either way, it took over 2 hours from placement of order to delivery. Long, long, long after the stated "approximately 30 to 45 mins delivery ETA" after the order was placed, even with slight delays built in. The person who took my call only agreed that it's an issue only when I pointed out that it had been 2 hours since I ordered and had yet to receive the food) 2. As a result, quite clearly the food was marginally warm at best. 3. The piri piri Caesar salad was pathetic for the price. The portion was tiny and hardly 3-4 (not very large) mouthfuls. And forget about the description about there being romaine lettuce. There were no romaine in sight and all we got was a few strips of iceberg lettuce. Big difference. Don't think we saw any olives or croutons either. 4. The garlic bread didn't look at all like the picture. Based on appearance, I'd say it was deep fried bread and not oven baked. And also forget about the description on the website because there was absolutely no "complimentary marinara sauce" in sight either. 5. The deep dish pizzas ? Well, the taste wasn't bad although it was not sliced into the 6 slices it would have been (yes, kind of small for the price to be paid, especially if it wasn't a "deal"). If you like uncooked dough, it would be perfect as both pizzas had uncooked dough. Unfortunately, my family aren't in the habit of eating partly raw and/or uncooked dough.

Literal scammers. Ordered on 20th June 12pm on their website. Order was taken and we waited 1 hour for our food. At 1pm we called their outlet and was told they were closed, and they have already taken our money. Stayed on the phone and they said they will check on the order and hung up on me. I called multiple times after, almost 50 times and they did not answer. We had to scour the internet to find an alternative number and they responded on WhatsApp just to say that said the food will come after 3 hours (at 4.30pm). Will not answer calls at all soon after for us to cancel the order. Asked for refund through WhatsApp and they said they will send it over - checked with the bank after 2 weeks and was told that no refund action was taken by the restaurant. They are still not answering calls. Called them on 6th July to check on my refund. There was no answer on the phone of course. WhatsApp them and they responded saying they have done the refund and that my bank was lying to me for saying there was no request. I added this review by then and instead of trying to solve the issue- they told me to take down my review instead. Insisted that my bank was wrong and it should take 10-14 days for the refund to show in my account. Update: 8 July 2022 Called the bank today and still no refund request were even made by this restaurant. They are also actively burying negative comments on here to ensure the good reviews stays new. Update: 9 July 2022 They were rude yesterday when we asked about our refund and told us that it’s not the end of the day. So today is the next day and there’s still no refund given. Terrible service. Terrible people. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. EVER!

When I first saw the reviews, I thought of giving this place a chance. But after having spent over RM200+ in a single reciept, I must say the pizzas were handled very poorly and definitely not worth the money. From burnt pizzas to overcooked dough which was so soft and felt like it was made for grannies to eat. In my entire experience of ordering online, this has got to be the biggest let down for the prices that they are charging with extremely low quality of food and there's no apologies or compensation from them either which is very unacceptable. Not only were the pizzas in bad condition and burnt, even the Wings sides came in a sauce that was smothered barely enough to cover a single piece. After having to wait 2 hours for the food to arrive, no customer service of notifying the delay and even after requesting for a refund or an update on the delivery time there was no response from them at all, from WhatsApp and also Facebook. My recommendations to anyone who wants to try this place? Just don't, head over to domino's or Pizza Hut instead. You'll save a ton more cash and leave way more satisfied. Extremely disappointing, if I could give a rating lower than 1 star this place would've gotten a - 10

Terrible Experience. Keeping it simple since everyone is commenting the same thing. Ordered > waited for hours > numerous time > no answer, called again > someone answered saying their kitchen closed? but managed to capture our order & charged us (how convenient) & hang up > called again, no answer > left a review on their website because there was no other way to contact them > they dropped me a text on Whatsapp saying our orders were captured and will be delivered in the next 4 hours?? (absolutely, not) > we requested for a refund > according to them, they have voided our order on their system and refund will be reflected in 10-14 days. The bank notified us that the restaurant did not raise any request for a refund > contacted them on the 12/13th day for a follow up > to our surprised they were not helpful but rather fighting with us saying they've done what they're supposed to do to refund us and in return we should remove our comments? lol. So! Its been 3 weeks, we have NOT received our refund and have raised a dispute with the bank. Just leaving this comment here because honestly what the hell is this experience? A MESS.

i've been an avid Pizza Express customer since last year. i've bought many pizzas, not just for myself but for my friends so they know how good their pizzas are. but today's experience was so bad it is completely unacceptable. i ordered a pizza yday evening via mobile browser only to find out they were closed for raya. at first i was frustrated because i've already made payment but someone from their side texted me to apologize, and promised to deliver today with 2 free soups. it was a pleasant conversations so i told the person to deliver today at 530pm. at 530, i texted this person and asked about the status only to find out that there was going to be a slight delay due to water cut. this person said my order will arrive by 630pm. guess what? i only received my cold pizza minus the soups at 810pm. i texted the person three times from 645pm and this person only replied at 830pm. this service is utterly rubbish. if any of you reading the reviews first before deciding to buy, dont waste your time. look elsewhere.

Excellent food. There's no doubt about it. But the excellence of the food is offset by a bad online ordering system. If the restaurant is closed, they should not take orders online. And according to the terms and conditions, there is no way to cancel or refund an order if you order accidentally and they haven't even confirmed the order yet. I've seen in some places online that they've given terrible customer sevice, but I haven't had interactions with customer service yet. I just know their delivery style is also inconsistent (sometimes they use whatsapp to let you know their location, other times you're just waiting after the delivery otw email). I dunno... That's why I only feel comfortable after ordering COD, not online banking. The pizza is DEFINITELY brilliant, though. Not too greasy and not too dry. Just perfect, like the ones I had in Italian pizza places in the US. I'll try ordering via GrabFood next time (even though there aren't as many options there, like extra topping).

I ordered yesterday and my pizza is delivered upside down. So we are not able to eat it. Waited for an hour to be delivered, tho i understand that it was raining when i ordered. I expected it to be delayed a little bit but getting an upside down and cold pizza is just wrong. The carton already stuck to the cheese so we cannot eat it anymore. Not to mention i paid 50 bucks (for pizza and delivery). I called the hotline to complain and the lady said that they will send another pizza for me next day around same time (8pm). So i called today past 8pm as there is no delivery yet, the guy andrei seems not to know that they supposed to send me replacement pizza. So he said will be delievered around 9pm. They are only able to Deliver 10pm. Really not a good experience for me. As for the taste, im not sure because i got a cold pizza the cheese already hardened and taste a bit salty, the thin crust is still crispy tho. I think thats the silver lining to it.

I ordered 2 pizza online on the 24/01/22 and paid via Grabpay but unfortunately order got canceled. Until today (28/02/22), i have not received the refund, although they claimed that the refund was initiated on the 26/01/22. My calls to their main number went unanswered. No reply to my email. I have never experienced a such long time just to get the refund. On another note, the admin/s have been actively removing negative comments from their FB page. This is what i've found today. Update: it’s 11/03/22, till today, I have not received my refund. I can consider them as a cheat. Update: its 30/04/22, still i have not received my refund that suppose to be returned via stripe, and i still have not received any feedback on transaction # until today. Update: 24/06/22, i ended up having to file claim via consumer tribunal. Cuurently waiting for the hearing scheduled end of next month. This is a matter of principle and not about the money itself.

Hi, i made an order online on your website pizzaexpress.com.my for pick up at 530pm. My grab delivery went to pick up at 630pm and was told by the kitchen staff lady, that the store is not even open yet and he would have to wait another hour for the order to be ready. On ur website, it stated 30 mins for order to be ready, and store operating hours are stated as 5pm. The staff I spoke to on the phone who first claims to be a kitchen staff, said it will take “21 working days not including public holiday” for me to get my refund if i want to cancel. The staff has very poor attitude and zero customer service knowledge. Bad system, bad website, bad customer service! This restaurant has zero consistency and will probably be shut down very soon. This is a very poor customer service experience. Thank you for waste of time and money.

We ordered through their online store at 8pm and at 10pm we had not received anything, but they had charged the bill for the food and the delivery. We tried to contat the store and there was no way of reaching them as their phone number was out of service. So we did not know anything about our pizzas. After considering what to do, we decided to go to the store we ordered from, which was suppossed to be in Sunway area. To our surprise, we found out that the store had permanently closed; Then we went to the nearest branch in Kelana Jaya, upon arrival we found that it's a cloud kitchen and they did not send any rider to collect our order. The joke is that even though we collected out own food, they did not return our delivery fee. The entire process took us 1hr and we ate our pizza at 11:30pm

It is not a scam, but the business is uncontactable. I ordered two deep dish pizza, and luckily chose the delivery by Lalamove. However, the online system hang halfway after payment and no confirmation page was received. Only after some time I got the confirmation email, and later the delivery by Lalamove. The phone number in the website was not in service and all Pizza Express social media were defunct. The Lalamove driver said that the pick-up location was in Taman Mayang, and not customer facing shop. The pizza was great, however the deep dish pizza is not 10" as advertised. It is a little smaller at 8" but I guess it is still alright. For more secure order and payment, please use Grab food to order. Not recommended to order direct from their website, and certainly no self pick-up.

I ordered 2 items from Pizza Express on the 01 March 2022. On that day, I received a message saying that 1 of the items was out of stock. They asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund. I requested for a refund. When I followed-up with them on the refund status they told me that it was done. I told them that the refund is still not in my account. 30 days later and despite that Pizza Express saying that they refunded via the Stripe system, there's been no refund. Even asking them for the refund transaction reference #, they refused to respond with the #. Yesterday, I followed up with them on the refund transaction again but they refused to reply.

We ordered delivery from Pizza Express through their website. On sign up, received a free coupon for wings. They have an interesting menu for pizza, which includes vegan and vegetarian options, as well as sides, salad, pasta, etc. Our order took close to 2 hours to deliver, although the website says 45 minutes. The rider did call us to inform he was on his way. The toppings were thicker than their competitors and priced higher. The vegetarian masala tikka pizza base wasn't spicy but had chilli padi which packed a punch. The pizza base is very bread like and our meal was overall acceptable. Do allow at least 2 hours for delivery when you order.

I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN.I ordered pizza at 7pm. I didn't get my order until 8.30pm. When I contacted the customer service, I was told the driver was accident. They are preparing my order again. Since it was an accident, I waited patiently.m after 45 min the order still didn't arrive despite I was promised order already otw .it takes 15 to 20 min. When WhatsApp the rider , he confirmed that, there was no accident and the admin lied to me. There was some mintake in admin handling my order. Feeling cheated, after waited for almost 2 hrs 39 min, I decided to cancel the order. I was not allowed to do so. Admin refused to refund the money.

If you're anyone who respects pizza...if you're from the west...if you're American (I am lol) any race, any creed...please please please. I beg you avoid this place...how this place has 4.2 stars I'll never know...but their "stock photos" verse reality is way to dramatic like this post. Disgusting pizza and wings. The wings had no sauce and were nasty soggy, beyond delivery soggy. And the pizza. Is in fact not pizza. Sausage is not a hot dog. And chili sauce? The pizza I ordered didn't even have this sauce on it yet mine came with hot dogs and chili sauce. Absolute blasphemy against the pizza gods. Undercooked everything. I go on...

Call no pick up, whatsapp no reply. And the money I already paid. What kind of restaurant is this? Please refund my money back! Update: After one month of waiting, I still didn’t get any refund for my order. I saw new reviews coming in saying that their shop is closed. Should we report this restaurant? They cannot scam money like this. People who didn’t check the review before they place order will get scam automatically.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM SHOP. Do not buy anything from this shop. We ordered for pick up but when we reach the shop, the shop was close. The worst thing about this establishment is you can’t contact them in any mean. The phone, whatsapp or any other communication is just deactivated. When I send messages through FB, they just replied that they are close till end of April. But when I requested the refund for my order they just ignored it.. On top of that, they are still accepting orders for today when they are closed. This establishment should be reported and never given any licence in future

The website shows that the delivery time is between 30-45 minutes, but I have waited for more than 2 hours for the pizza to arrive. Also, when I try to check the lalamove status, it shows that the rider is still at the same spot after 30 minutes, and the rider did not pick up the phone when I tried to contact him/her. I have also tried to whatsapp pizza express, but they are just giving general answers to my questions without providing practical solutions, and also refused to pick up the call when I tried calling them. Very bad experience. Will never order from pizza express anymore.

I've never tasted pizza like this before and I've been eating pizza all my life as I can remember it. It's super tasty and they are very generous on their cheese and toppings. Ordered the garlic wings, was really nice. It doesn't feel like you're eating fast food, it feels like there was care and passion. It's not doughy or chewy like some other pizza makers, I won't say names, but starts with D and P, yeah... It's soft and tender, you'll just love it. Also a shout out to their delivery, he delivered mine even when it was raining. Much props for that.

We ordered 3 pizzas at 11am when they opened. After an hour passed and still no updates, we tried calling for hours but there was no reply. I’m very upset at the zero response from the pizza company and how unprofessional they are behaving. This will be the last time we order from you. Word of caution to other Malaysians. Check whether they’re still operating. Maybe they closed down but they’re happy to take your money. Don’t be cheated. Update : they finally delivered the pizza. Almost 4 hours later. But I will not order from Pizza Express again.

Honestly, beyond disappointed and annoyed with this place. Placed my order at 10pm. It is now 12:30am and I have still yet to receive my order. I've msged to ask where it is. And that if they are cold old pizzas we will not be accepting them or paying for them as they told us over an hour ago the pizzas were done. But delivery was backed up. If you don't have enough people than hire more to keep up with your demand. Over 2 hour wait for 2 regular pizzas is beyond ridiculous!! Will never be ordering from here again. Pointless and a waste of time.

Customer service- 0 out 5, called 10 times no reply. Coupon doesn't work properly on the website. Even if you put in the note the won't read. if you called no answer. Food- 2 out of 5 Order a deep dish and a pan crust half and half. deep dish is not deep enough. Pan crust the dough didn't raise. Taste of the pizza meat supremo 3/5, sides were burned. Spicy buffalo chicken 0/5, sweet ,servered without buffalo sauce. Classic chicken 0/5, unable to distinguish the sauce. Bland. Delivery was 45 mins late. Delivered cold because of the restaurant.

So my pizza was burnt! Did the guy who made this not see that what he was putting in the box was burnt? If you have no sense of quality control why start a business in the first place... And on top of that I ordered an extra large pizza then they brought me a regular .. this cost me 50 bucks! 50 bucks for a box of absolute disappointment !!!! Never ordering from these people again... And on top of that it has taken so long for them to give me a compensation and I'm still sitting here with a burnt pizza that I don't know what to do with!!!!

I ordered the pizza on 17/11, but they cancelled my order because the order is unable to be delivered to my area. Until now I still haven't receive my refund :) I called the store but they say they couldn't do anything as they are just kitchen staff. Hello? A kitchen staff is having the company number I have emailed for so many times and there's still no response. This is the super worse experience ever! The whatsapp is not even working :) The management is so WORSE. Don't ever order from them through online :)

One hour after the preorder pick up time, finally received message that they are going to deliver pizza to us. If anyone wants to order it, better use lalamove delivery instead of pick up. Shop at sunway is not in operation , they have relocated to kelana jaya there. Food wise is mediocre, taste not too bad. I just hope that they will update their website that they are using another handphone number to contact, and prep the order earlier if they know that they received order outside kelana jaya region.

Worst experience ever. I came to malasyia today and very first day I have been *Scammed* by them. They are totally nowhere no contact number, no whatsapp. Order never came to me. I spent 1000rs INR and kept waiting for my order its been 5 hours and nothing no reply. I have emailed them, texted them did almost everything but there is no revert. Please either don't fool people or stop your services permnanetly. Do not get scammed by them people if you are in KL. Its a fraud website, with no proper shop.

Calling the landline and mobile line. Nobody’s bother to pick up the phone call.. been waiting for two hours now and the tracking order is still in the cooking phase.. bad customer service by not picking up calls. Placed in order at 5.25pm and delivery rider only out at 8.25pm.. not the right name of express for this shop’s name. Until 11.30pm the food still has not arrived yet. With no contact from rider or shop respresentative. End up starving . Please do not order here.

Pizza slightly expensive but it's ok. The only problem is I don't have any cash with me that midnight and i asked whether can i online transfer because i am craving for pizza on that time. But the staff there told me they don't accept online transfer or credit card. I was so disappointed and left. Guess what, after that I think of buying it online, then I can pay online and wait for my pizza there. I'm very disappointed with the staffs there, not helpful at all.

I ordered vegan pepperoni & mushroom pizza on their website. I waited for 3 hours but there is still no email no phone call from pizza express or lala move. I would not mind if the order did not go through and not getting the pizza, but what I do mind is rm 76.20 has already been deducted from my bank account and there is high chance of me not getting that money back. There is no way for me to contact them at all. Dah lah kempunan nak makan pizza, geram mat.

Worst pizzas ever! Their website write ups and advertisements make it look like they use fresh ingredients - it's false advertising! Their pizzas are super SALTY and the cheese is clearly low quality. Worst of all, their pizzas are OVERPRICED, their pizza crust isn't bad but nothing to pay so much for. Avoid this and just go to those dudes with the three red dots that have reasonably priced pizzas with decent taste. You people should be ashamed of yourself!

pretty cool experience for me. Ordered at about 2.30am got it 30 min later. Food was hot and quite satisfying. The combo prices was pretty reasonable. You get quite a few items bundled in one. Ordered through phone and the person on the other end was super friendly and nice. Pretty delicious thin crust charcoal with marinara dip. The other was a creamy mushroom pizza that was good too. The wings were quite good. Def recommended Thanks for delivering late.

I was surprised to have a follow up to my review; not only was the Customer Service representative Ms Clara kind, she displayed a very professional and fantastic attitude. She resent me my order again with freshly baked pizza with personalised note on it as well. Wow that's what i call superb customer service. I am so very impressed and got excellent tasting pizza that I enjoyed back home in California

This is a good pizza option. They perfectly baked pizzas with a genuine portion of toppings. Not always on time but it's a late night delivery so should understand. However the food has never failed. Most pizza parlours give you cardboard tasting food. This one is exceptional. The only thing I would recommend is to include some chilli Flakes. That would make it all too perfect. Overall decent experience each time.

Fast response from WhatsApp. Good & polite customer service & rider. Arrived on time. Reading review makes me aware of the delivery time but still i give it a shot cuz most reviews on food is nice. Delivery time is on time. I pre order it the day before. So i suggest to you all to pre order them earlier to avoid the peak hours. Food arrived warmly & in good condition. Fresh made pizza and everything.

Regret order from them. Waited 1hr 30min still haven’t receive my order. Whole family hungry. No more next time. Follow up: finally received my order after about 1hr 40min, the pizza is cold, ordered Hawaiian Pizza but hardly any pineapple on it. Understand their location is bit far from where I stay, then shouldn't have accepted my order. Just stick to your surrounding neighborhood

1. The delivery took 3 hours. By the time it arrived it's already too cold. 2. We were short changed. One of our Order was Large Chicken Pepperoni. No a Single Pepperoni was on the Pizza although it is the order we made. 3. Inform your sales people and sent a picture to her. She said she will check. She never came back. This is totally unacceptable by any standard!

The worst "pizza" I've ever eaten. Turned up after an hour and a half. It was stone cold. It's soft sweet bread with ketchup on top. The "cheese" isnt. Don't know what it was but it was horrible. The only flavour was raw onion. It's also got nothing to do with the famous brand pizza express. Should be called "Sweet ketchup bread slow"

First and last time ordering. Decided to try since they have vegan menu. Despite plenty of toppings for the pizza, it arrived soft, soggy and barely held its shape. Taste isn't that great too. Took close to 2hrs to arrive, the pizza and sides were all cold upon arrival. Ordered 8.13pm, 8.47pm received WhatsApp msg, 10pm only arrived.

On top of it I had to go to there shop to pickup the food at 11 pm. Only saving grace for them is food is good. Rest all areas they need to improve drastically.

The taste is quite good. Although delivery time is a little bit slow therefore a bit sad the food is not piping hot. The personal pizza is quite big. The packaging for the soup is not well kept. Can spill easily and the lid is not tight at all. Either change the packaging, or cling wrap and put a tape around it to be safe.

I made an order through grab. Even after 40mins, my food hadnt left the kitchen, was getting frustrated waiting. When it finally came an hour plus later, i was completely dissapointed. Worst tasting pizza ever. The cheese tasted like some durian paste. The crust was rubbery. Gosh, i will never order from them again

The place is closed. We didn't know as their ordering system could still go through. Luckily we asked for self picked up, if not we would have waited forever. As my brother paid for it, we are still waiting to see whether the payment will go through, as the banks couldn't do anything about the fpx system.
