Was there looking for my daughter as I hadn't heard from her in a few days. The park was full of ppl,their recreational activities are no business of mine or anyone else's. There was lots of wares being sold, cigarettes for 5 beans and the people were helpful. Remember to treat all walks of life as you would have done unto you.

Yes, drug addicts. But also, everyone is friendly and inviting; it's a space where people can sit down, relax for a moment, watch the hustle of passers by and have a cigarette. Tourists will always tread carefully but it's a solid spot to get directions, these folks have stories and know the town.

This place hasnt changed in 45 years. Its a wart on the giant ass of Vancouver. The city needs to close it. Walk past it with one hand out giving loonies to the panhandlers as a distraction .....that way you most likely will still retain your wallet when you travel through.
