Absolute disgrace. placed our order at 12.02. It arrived at 1.28 am.. Absolutely freezing cold and the milkshakes were like water. They also forgot to give us straws for our water.. When I called to complain and ask for a manager i was told there wasnt one. I explained to the woman that i did not have time to wait for another order to be sent so if eat what I could of this and Contacts the manager tomorrow. 10 minutes later I got a very aggressive phone call from a man Named Nicholi who demanded he was coming to my home at 2.am to retrieve the left over orders and give me a refund. Then tomorrow him and his manager would decide who's fault it was. I asked for none of this. I asked could I speak to the manager he said it was too late. I then asked was his duties told to him by his manager and he said yes. He then arrived at my door energetic and rude making comments about the bits of the takeaway I could fish from the bin. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a take away. As nice as the food can be sometimes it is not worth the hassel wait or intimidation by staff at two o clock in the morning. Joke of a place

Worst service ever, waited 30 minutes for my order of fish and chips and people who ordered after me got served first, when i questioned I was told by customers that staff where only doing their job, I understand that people didn't know how long I had waited but still needed to interject these are people I can't describe on this review but will never go again to this place as I looked like the one in the wrong to everyone fish was an absolute disgrace after waiting so long worst take away experience I've ever had, the food went straight into the bin as all the batter had fallen off, their was zero apology from the staff who where more interested in having a laugh with each other and I'm made out to be the guy who is wrong in the eyes of onlookers, stay well away from this place

My very first bad review of anywhere. I dont give them lightly. Used to be the best chipper in Dublin, even voted for them in awards. Ordering years and years. But Now food is awful and emails or complaints go completely unanswered and ignored no matter how regular a customer you are. Lies about delivery, lies about having no pitta bread, order a kebab you get a wrap despite photos being of pitta, seen a review from 3 days ago saying they got pitta yet im being told for months they have none. . Awful shame they let the new staff and/or management destroy their reputation. Chips were once best in Dublin now are inedible. Don't bother making contact you will be ignored, just don't bother ordering . Shame on whoever ran this place into the ground.

I am regular customer at peters usually outstanding food from here, but from my previous 3 orders the food is absolutely disgusting. Me and my partner usually order doner kebab meals, on the kebab was brown gone off lettuce there was no hot kebab sauce, the meat was completely vile !! I am pretty sure there has been a change up with staff whoever is cooking/making the food must not be putting there effort in. After eating the kebab I threw up 2 hours later, this place really needs to close down, this place will never get another order from me, and I will make sure to BOYCOTT this shop. DISGRACE!!!!! STAY AWAY

This was hands down the worst take away I have ever had the misfortune of receiving. It took over an hour to deliver, and when it did, it was an utter disaster. The chips were completely underdone, not one chip was hot. The same with the chicken burger- freezing cold and tasteless. It was hard to believe the chips had even been cooked as half of them were hard. Myself and my partner felt extremely ill after eating only a couple of bites. Don’t ever allow yourself endure the monstrosity that is Peters takeaway.

My 85 year old mother ordered food at 4pm, she was told it would be at delivered to her at 5pm, but at 7pm she was still waiting and couldn't get through on the phone. When I called Peters to see what had gone wrong, I was greeted with bad manners and indifference. Apparently, leaving an elderly woman with mobility issues,hungry and confused doesn't seem to bother the "motivated" staff at Peters takeaway. Absolutely heartless people.

Three staff members both males very rude female staff member was lovely. When we asked for certain items both male staff would talk to each other in there own language and then started laughing at us had a very upset child leaving the premises with how rude the male staff were. When we came back home with our food it was cold and was not nice at all. Definitely would not recommend this place for food

Peter's Take Away is the only chipper in Drumcondra. I have been getting fish and chips from them for years. You get a decent portion and the food is always really hot. This is the first time I ordered a take away. I got a battered sausage and chips and a coke. It came as a meal. It was delicious. Great I can order it too! The staff are friendly and the chipper is always spotless. Great keep doing what your doing

I’ve been going to this chip shop for years now since I was a child in school in St. Joseph’s and Rosmini and I’ve never had a bad experience or got bad food out of here, The chips are lovely and the portions are huge, the staff are very friendly and helpful! I love this place

Great food. Regularly go here after being the Ivy House just so the hangover isn't to bad. Went here last night (All Ireland Final). People obviously who were in the chipper previously made a mess so me and my friend offered to clean up if the staff gave us a black bag. Cleaned up and got a free food! Kind gestures go a long way :)

Absolutely brilliant as usual! Proper chips, never found them to be anything other than perfectly cooked & fast delivery! Chicken tenders are perfect not too much batter or dry - absolutely spot on! Also the portions are proper sized you won't be left hungry. Definitely a chipper I'd recommend ❤️ thanks guys, keep it up

Took nearly two hours to arrive and forgot half of my order. Tried ringing the shop over 8 times and wouldn't answer the phone so rang delivery man and he told me he was on a different job so couldn't do anything about it. (I also had to tell him what change I was due) really bad service. Will never use this take away again!

Bought a kebab tonight, turned out it was anything but a kebab. Pitta loaded with lettuce, a few pieces of poorly processed meat and it was freezing within 5 minutes. All served up by two Eastern Europeans with attitude. Used be a great chipper- now it’s a dump. Avoid.

The chicken in the snack box was dry and not n ice, the chips smelled of fish and we received 2 battered beef burgers, which were disgustingly oily, like a heart attack in a bag, instead of 2 chicken fillet burgers. And the price was extortionate for what we got

Heard good things about this place..but everything I received was absolutely rotten. The chips were soggy and barely cooked. Got violently sick after. The burger was like rubber, I’d of been as well off chewing a rubber tyre. Disgrace absolutely nothing can be worse than this tripe.

We stopped in around 4pm for the Monday special, a cheeseburger, large chips and coke for €5.40. The food was reasonable for the price. The chips were so hot that when a small piece broke off and landed on my arm, I got a burn. Be careful! Use plenty of garlic and salt and enjoy.

Ordered a fish and it was inedible. Burnt and horrible. I beg you don't waste your money here. Throw your money into a fire you'll get more enjoyment from that than this food

Ordered a chip butty Kebab which is pitta bread with garlic& chili sauce and chips but what I got was chips on a bread roll with red sauce and mayo absolutely disgusting and some of the chips was green. Never order again.

One if the best Take away around North Dublin! They're food is always good and constant. One of my favorites are: Tasty Chips, quarter burger, fresh cod and chips their garlic sos with mushrooms and the list goes on!
