Dr. Lee has changed our lives. Our Tigger was diagnosed with advance stages of arthritis, he was lame in one paw. He had surgery on both of knees, stem cell therapy, and physio with Tayla at Pet Universe for recovery. He still requires ongoing Zydax injections at Pet Universe monthly. Tigger is highly anxious and a bit grumpy. Other vets have had trouble examining him in the past. Dr. Lee is so good with Tigger, he gets the occasional hiss but it's so much better than I've seen with other vets. They take care to have specified waiting areas for cats so Tigger knows he won't be ambushed by an over excited dog while waiting. And I think the entire environment is calmer for him (they have feliway everywhere and they never feel rushed or push him, they wait until Tigger has had the time to adapt to his environment and be calm about the check up). We are so grateful to the entire team at Pet Universe for their love and care for our fur baby.

The staff and reception are kind are friendly however this vet is more pro-surgery rather than conservative. Our dog had an x-ray and scope after throwing up something he swallowed, he was still bright and happy, eating and pooping as normal. After the x-ray the vet said there was an area which either looks like normal gas or a possible obstruction, and that she could open him up to check. We were hesitant to do this given he was very active, so she later suggested we could also take another x-ray tomorrow to check if the area of concern is moving through, however this suggestion felt more like an afterthought to the surgery option. I went to another vet and they said given the big picture of my dog being clearly happy and active, feed him easily digestible food, monitor, and if 2 weeks passes we have nothing to worry about. We avoided putting him under GA again for unneeded surgery or another x-ray.

Our three-year-old Maltese x Shih Tzu, Alfie, was hit by a car a few weeks ago and we took him straight to Pet Universe Northgate as the closest vet. They were so caring, calm and efficient with saving Alfie’s life. They had to transfer us to SASH for overnight care and we decided to do his surgeries there to avoid unnecessary transport, however have gone for follow ups several times to Pet Universe at both Northgate and Broadview since surgery as issues keep coming up with Alfie’s recovery. Everyone has been so helpful and kind and they all clearly care about Alfie. Prior to this accident, we have always gone to another vet, however after experiencing the personalised care and thoughtfulness from all the staff at Pet Universe, we will never be going anywhere else.

Took my rabbit to Blakes crossing veterinary 4 times and was seen by 4 different vets who all had different diagnosises and none helped. Trevor even stated " he's going to die"which i was shocked about how blunt not too mention how hard he pushed on my pet to make him open his mouth and be moving his legs to get away. Took him to pet universe and within six hours my rabbit was diagnosed treated and had his first rehabilitation and was so so so much better even straight after. Next morning he could move again it was like night and day. I will only recommend pet universe now and have already called all my family and friends with pets and told them to go here because they actually know what they're doing.

Absolutely not recommend to anyone. They only care about the money not your pet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bring my pet to here. Before I went I called the reception they said the vet has been fully booked but the nurse can do some treatment but after I arrived there, the nurse said she only can wipe the around I said it is fine and I am really appreciate for that and after she bring my pet to back and come back she said my pet does not want to do that. After I see the vet, the vet said she does not want to do any treatment to my pet and the reason is because they do not do any FREE treatment!!!! Even I have already spend a lot of money there!!!!!!!!! And the vet is so rude!!!!!!!!!

I have been taking my pets to Pet Universe for many years and have total trust in the vets and nurses to take really good care of my dogs and cat. Everything is always explained well and all staff members are professional, friendly and supportive. My dogs absolutely love going to visit the clinic whether it is for a weight check, routine consultation or for an accident or illness that needs diagnosis and treatment. My old dog is even getting laser therapy to help him with his arthritis and having some really positive results after a relatively short time. I have no hesitation in recommending Pet Universe to anyone looking for top quality care for their pets.

They are very caring towards your pet but also very expensive and seem to sell add ons (like teeth cleaning) to everyone (I have a few friends who go here and they have all been told their dogs teeth need teeth cleaning, even one dog being only 18 months old). I would say always get a second opinion, we just saved $1,920 by going elsewhere. Our dog had a lump on his leg, we were told they couldn't say what it was and to get a sample done ($1500) and that he needed teeth cleaning too ($420 on special because he was having these 2 things done).. the second opinion has told us it is simply a callus which will go away and that his teeth are healthy.

All the staff are so nice. They make you feel welcome and at ease if you have any concerns regarding your appointment. they genuinely care. Post procedure phone calls are made first thing the next day and they answer any questions you have. I took my 13yr old GSD in.... she's not usually a fan of vets...she usually has a bit of a growl but not at Northgate or Broadview clinics....she obviously felt happy and relaxed...it was like they were all part of the family from the moment we walked in. Dr Chris is Ellie's treating vet...he is awesome. I just can't express enough how happy I am with their service #A+infinity

I have been taking my dog to Pet Universe for many years now and will never go anywhere else. The girls on Reception are always super friendly - a particular shout out to the amazing Alex who goes above and beyond to personalise every visit and helps handle all of our insurance claims! We have seen all different vets and they are always friendly, kind and provide clear explanations and suggestions on any necessary treatments they’re recommending. I truly believe the entire team at Pet Universe Northgate live for the animals that they treat! Such a fantastic pet wellness clinic!

I have been taking my dog here since he was a pup and he is now 4. All the vets we have seen listened thoroughly to our problems and sorted out the best treatment options for my dog. He loves coming here, especially for the treats and pats/cuddles he gets from all the staff. He is a very boisterous boy but is quickly calmed down by staff - Alex in particular is amazing at her job and her passion for animals is reflected through this. Although, I don’t live close to the practice anymore I will continue making the trip here as the service is so worth the drive.

I highly, highly recommend Pet Universe. Vet, Maddy and vet nurse, Alex were so incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to put my mind at ease and to help my elderly Greyhound, Lucy. They took their time, were incredibly thorough, explained everything for me, broke down the costs at every point and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg for veterinary care. It was also a really sensory friendly experience. I’ve never seen my dogs so relaxed and happy at the vets before. I’m incredibly grateful for my experience there today.

Since moving here two years ago I have had nothing but the best service with Pet Universe. My cat Taz was just a couple months shy of 20yrs when we made that decision that every beloved pet owner dreads making. But omg I could not have imagined a more beautiful way to let him go. Dr Klaartje was the most patient, understanding, caring lovely vet ever!!!! I am so glad Taz had his last few moments with us the way he did. I miss him so much already but I am also so grateful. I had a lot of questions concerning my dog's condition and Dr Lee answered them all comprehensively, making sure I was fully informed on the various options and procedures moving forward. The facility is outstanding for therapies and rehabilitation. Dr Lee and his team are professional and very friendly and treated my dog with the out most care and concern. I walked out of the consultation confident I will be making the best decisions for my dog. Thoroughly recommend.

Really friendly staff, who are always willing to help you out with a smile and a positive attitude. They’re more than willing to accomodate anything your dog needs to be comfortable. My husky is a bit timid and reactive, but they’re always really patient with him, and they make sure there are no other dogs in the lobby when I bring him in. Also special mention to the wonderful receptionists. They make this clinic stand out among the rest.

The staff are amazing, all so welcoming, caring and extremely knowledgeable! I had been to my regular vet a couple of times for an issue with my dog who were baffled and one consult later we had an idea, a plan of action and solid pain relief in place. The range of rehabilitation options they have available in their facility is fantastic. If you need a normal consult or specialised treatment I cannot recommend Pet Universe enough

I can't speak more highly of the whole team at Pet Universe. They all are so friendly & clearly passionate about animals & very patient with our chocolate Labrador! She loves visiting everyone there & always gets treated like a super star. As usual, Pet Universe looked after Murphy with great care and consideration of her, sometimes quirky behaviour. Dr Maddie is monitoring Murphy’s renal condition in the most professional way and keeps us informed on everything that is happening. We are grateful to have Dr Chris, Dr Kat and all the staff at PU. Nurses, Alex Mc & Doris have always been so helpful with Murphy and our previous dogs.

Northgate Pet Universe is a great experience for my cats as it has its own area away from the dogs making it not so stressful for them. The staff are great, one particular staff member loves to make a fuss and have a cuddle with one of my cats Sir Lavington, cant wait for her to meet Lady Sybil. For me it's convenient to where i live and always neat and tidy and we just love Dr Maddie.

Very friendly and helpful from both staff ( reception staff) and from Dr Tess. Dr Tess examined our pet rabbit very thoroughly and explained to us a few things what our pet was possibly going through in a very friendly and professional manner. Dr Lee and his whole team of amazing vets and nurses take beautiful care of my somewhat trying dog. Never rushing me through appointments, offering state of the art treatments, taking the time to explain every option and helping calm my dog when he gets anxious. If your pet is not just an animal but a member of your family, I highly recommend them.

It was my first visit to this vet clinic and I was thrilled with the service. The waiting area was clean and I was welcomed warmly. The vet was phenomenal. Everything was explained clearly and ongoing options & associated costs were made transparent. My dog went in a nervous wreck and came out smiling and dashing about as though he owned the place!

The Staff was super friendly made me feel welcomed and at ease. I love that they have a separate waiting room for cats as my cat Taffy gets very worked up and timid during vet visits. Both of our cats love our visits here. Even our 8y/o standoffish cat loves the vet so much, we jokingly asked the vet if she had catnip in her pocket (she didn't ). The staff at Pet Universe were exceptionally kind to our dog, Jasper. He has had to have a few procedures and we were extremely anxious, but they reached out to let us know how he was and reassure us that he was doing well! We have been clients (our pets rather) for more than 10 years. Every veterinarian we have seen has always been lovely and professional. Dr Lee is fantastic and almost goes out of his way to help you and your pet. We highly recommend Dr Lee and his team. The veterinary nurses have always been fantastic as well.

My cat had been visiting vet recently for a major issue. When symptoms appeared and it was difficult for me to get there quickly from work, Alex offered to collect cat from my home close to clinic so he could be seen to quickly and I was then able to collect him after work.

Pet universe offer a beautiful service. They care about what they are doing and are always friendly and warm. Throughout the times we have visited I have always felt comfortable and like my pups are in the hands of Proffessionals. I have trust in the care they provide.

My dog had a severe allergic reaction and was seen to immediately, the receptionist staff were so lovely and helpful, Dr Chris Lee provided the best care for my dog, he was kind and showed so much compassion. Couldn't thank him enough. Will definitely be back again.

Everything was explained regarding my boys surgery for his cruciate ligament. No question I had was too silly. I feel very confident having my boy in Dr Lees care. The nursing staff were amazing. I have no problem recommending Pets Universe to my family and friends.

Had an emergency my little Dashund was choking and couldn't breathe properly and quite distressed as we all were. Rushed him straight there all staff took him immediately and attended to him and removed the offending object. The vet on and staff there were amazing.

Pet Universe take such good care of my dogs! They love Alex OBrien and she always makes us feel so welcome! Nice to phone and straight away they know who you are talking to but also able to always fit you in if you are really concerned!

Fantastic service. My dog was attacked at the beach and need urgent attention on a Sunday morning. The team where caring, compassionate and saw us immediately. Ziggy made a full recovery and is back to her normal self. Thank you !

This is a really good vet. My cat has had health issues at times. The lady vet is very good at putting my pet at ease, as well as knowledgeable at her practice. I wish my GP looked after me as good as she does with my cat.
