In July I booked a 4 night stay with Pegasus Motor Inn in Brisbane. The first two nights were pretty good. Check in via msg, decent clean room and a password locked door. I would have given a positive review for this motel…but unfortunately my third night provided a terrible experience. Around 4:30am, I was awakened by a woman singing next door. She sang so loud that it severely interrupted my sleep. So I called the reception and asked for assistance and she nicely replied:" I'll contact the guest next to your room." After the call, I heard this woman stop singing, and it sounded like she was picking up a phone call. A few minutes later I heard the door from the room next to me open, and someone started knocking on my door. At that point I thought it was the singing woman who came to threaten me. I yell to the door, telling the woman if she has any issues with me, speak to the people at reception. The woman was demanding I open the door as she claimed to be the property manager of this motel. I repeated that I was not going to open the door and that I was going to call the police. I was already frightened and my voice was a bit shaky. THEN, my door was opened by the woman who claimed to be the property manager! (I figured she must work there, because she could open my door). Without any checking or questioning, she stood outside and pointed at me (I was sitting in the bed), telling me I'm not welcome here and demanded I get out today. I was completely shocked by this bizarre situation! So after she left I called 000 straight away. I told the police my story and they said they would get back to me shortly. There's no way I would stay in such an unsafe place any longer! My work colleagues came escorted me from Pegasus Motor Inn before 7am to move to another hotel. At that time, I had still not heard from the police. One hour later, I received a phone call from Pegasus Motor Inn's property manager. In the call she claimed that she was looking for the weird singing woman, and other guests in the motel reported it was me singing. That was the reason she asked me to come out of the room - and because I refused to cooperate, she opened my door. She claimed she opened the door with the witness of her colleague. And emphasised that she didn't "step into my room". At the end of the conversation she finally apologised for my bad experience at Pegasus. And told me the police came after 7am trying to speak to me but I was already gone. She explained the situation to the police and then they left. She also stated that she was still "investigating who the singing woman was". I was very frightened and tired at that point, so I accepted her apology. However this bad motel experience still haunts me to this day. I know this isn’t a 5 star luxury hotel, but this incident was beyond what I expected for normal Motel services. I would not recommend staying at Pegasus based on my experience, especially if you are a single female traveller!

Comfortable basic room. Easy to get there from the M1. Woolies and specialized shops are close by up the road. Check in and out via email so we had no contact with the staff. The digital lock on the door was difficult to operate as it took several attempts to get the keys to make proper contact. The main room light was right above the tv which means you had to turn it off whilst watching TV. Bathroom had all the basic facilities included. We could hear next door's TV through the wall, but fortunately they were in bed early so it wasn't an issue. Parking was underground and easy to find a parking space. Access to our room was via 2 flights of stairs and no elevator. This didn't worry us but might affect others. Bed was comfortable and we had a pleasant sleep.

My room was old and out of date. Having physical health issues was not ideal for me. There were no lifts, and no staff around to help me with my luggage. I just put into a bag what I needed for the night. The bathroom has a very deep bath, so I had difficulty getting in and out. Not all lights were working. The soap bottle was hard to use as well. I had to squeeze the liquid out, having arthritic fingers, made it difficult. The cups and glasses could have been a bit bigger. No fan in the main bedroom, I would have preferred that rather than using the air-conditioning during the night, as it did not cool my room down. I woke up many times during the night sweating. I ordered my dinner, which came within a good time. It was enjoyable.

This was a last minute stay, as our flight with Virgin was cancelled last minute and we needed to find somewhere to stay for the night. Given the lateness of our booking, everything was done over the phone and email and went smoothly. Whilst it isn't a first class resort, it was neat and tidy and reasonably close to the airport (meaning we could sleep in that little bit extra). It served our purpose and wasn't overly expensive (there was 4 of us staying there). If we could have enjoyed the facilities it probably would have been even bettet but it was a last minute emergency place.

Definitely would not recommend to stay here. Only plus was location to car hire drop off and airport. This is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in and I have travelled quite a lot in Australia and overseas. No manned reception, no way of choosing a ground floor room when booking as stairs are difficult due to an injury. We were very close to being knocked down the stairs twice by housekeeping throwing bundled sheets down the stairwell, even after we asked is was safe to go up and told yes, they continued to throw them down. As you can see in the photo's this accommodation is much need of maintenance and a clean. To add insult to this, we paid about $200 to stay in here Oh, and my sister fixed the broken toilet

Stayed here for a night to dropped someone off at the airport. Although the food was good at the restaurant and the rooms were clean and fine. They had no one Manning the reception and it was completely self-check in and check out. On arrival, we didn't have a map to get to the rooms and it was a struggle with children up a few flights of stairs and not knowing which way. Due to all self-check in nature, the company sent me excessive number of emails. Which I had to ask them to stop! If you just want a night to stay, quick, clean and close to the airport, then its fine.

Booked deluxe family got standard, my boys don't like bunk beds thus the high deluxe room was bought. Even though I was told standard was booked my invoice was for deluxe. Would not solve problem so essentially paid more for a sub standard room. Windows was missing both latches so no security. Reception isn't manned so long phone calls on hold for no result. The place needs to be avoided unless you want disappointment. Best feature it was only for one night.

Huge spacious, wheelchair accessible room. Comfy beds, a bathroom with a flannel (how often do you get a flannel these days), our room had a single bed and a double bed, a table for our dinner places to store luggage. The room even has sound proof windows installed, winning. Star off for bright flashing smoke detector lights and hall light shining around door. I know others have had terrible check in but ours was easy. The codes worked without issue.

Checking in was a nightmare, had to ring, get a link, didn't work, rang again, sent another link, failed again, and third time and still nothing. Did it over the phone and had to give credit card again, then send an email of my driver's licence. Requested a refund, Then it took another 10 minutes for them to send entrance details, sour taste in our mouths.

A very convenient place to stay. Has evening meals, a pool and is close to Brisbane airport and Hamilton shopping areas. Although it's on busy Nugee Rd it does not seem to be noisy at all. Rooms are clean and there is a guest laundry. Check in is all done by sms when your room is ready with easy to follow instructions to access the motel and your room.

The room was clean but the air con leaked so we couldn't use it as it leaked all over the carpet and tv. The pools were nice but the one we used the spa was broken. The sauna looked inviting until you noticed the door didn't close properly. Water pressure was amazing. Beds were comfy. Smoking area was central to rooms.

First time here, location is good for walking to shops & 20 min walk to Eat Street. Room was meant to be a studio when walked in it was an apartment which was not expected, a bit outdated with decor & a bit noisy with traffic & could hear people talking next to us, would stay again though as price was good.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Although the rooms were fine the service was non existent. You have to check in by yourself and check out as well. They advertise a heated pool but in reality it is as cold as a fridge and the spa is exactly the same. It is worth a stay if you have an early flight or a one night stay but there are many nicer hotels that are closer to the city.

Find somewhere else to stay. No one at reception for check in, long phone call to get to talk to someone who talked us through the online check in procedure. Our room was on the ground floor and was very dark and dingy and in desperate need of an upgrade and a good clean. There was an awful chemical smell in the room.

Terrible service, no one at the motel, except angry guests. The only request I had made was a ground floor room, my knees don’t work. After assuring me repeatedly it would be a ground floor unit, when we arrived the unit was upstairs. No staff at the facility, so after multiple calls the allocation was changed.

No one at reception for check in, long phone calls to get to talk to someone. The two rooms had over powering chemical smell , we were told it was Eco friendly cleaning product, but you had to go outside to breath fresh air, we ended up not staying as the smell was over powering.
