Carlos was super-friendly and attentive. Despite being cold and irritated from not having heat the last week, he’s hard to dislike and put a smile on my face and had me at ease almost immediately. After troubleshooting and extensive testing, it was brought to my attention that the HVAC unit here has an undersized breaker and just about any time it gets too cold and emergency heating is used, the breaker will most likely go off. This indeed is what occurred and it makes sense now why there were last troubles with the unit at similar intervals. The unit had been serviced by two contractors, the builder, and their electrician and only Carlos pointed out this oversight and resolved my issue. Despite the price being a bit more than I expected, I feel for as thorough, punctual, and caring as they are, Pat Murphy is very worth it as one call to them first could have saved countless hours and dollars being spent dealing with everyone else. Thank you again Carlos and Pat Murphy for warming both my home and my mood when no one else could!
I reached out to Pat Murphy Electric at the beginning of August 2023. I was immediately connected to their nice receptionist who was very professional in taking my information and details of the project. Unfortunately, that is where the professionalism ended. I had one of their representatives come out to our home to take a look at our meter box, but I did not hear any communications back regarding a quote or details of my project until I called their office over a week later. During the short call, I was told someone would email me a quote. The email I received stated I would receive a quote as soon as they got a quote back on parts. It is now middle of November, and I have received no follow up on parts or discussion on alternative options, like a full meter replacement, if the parts could not be located. Call a different company who values your time and business.
We were completely without electricity. A technician was sent to address our outage. We agreed to the $459 diagnostic fee for the electric panel which he said was the only way to troubleshoot. Luckily the fix was to tighten a few wires. It took less than an hour. I called to speak to the manager Mark about the high cost and there was no fee adjustment. The tech was friendly. Due to the very high pricing and no price adjustment made we will not use this company again. Unfortunately when you don't have power it's easy to get overcharged since you are in a bad position. A company that charges hourly would have been much more reasonable. You live and learn. I found this company reading reviews so I felt I needed to share our experience.
Scott was a wonderful and knowledgable technician . He responded to all of my questions, made sure that the job was done well, and always cleaned up after the work. Scott worked with Wolf, both of whom were very respectful of my home and attended carefully to the details of the job. Carlos came out on day one to walk me through the work that needed to be done, and came the next day to work with Scott. These electricians ensured that I was informed of every step of the process. I would hire these electricians again.
Residential electrical work: Carlos and Maison were professional, friendly and got the job done right. I appreciated Carlos’ attention to detail and help fixing the issue that caused my home’s flood light to break. Commercial electrical work: I’ve worked with Daniel at our commercial property on a range of electrical projects for many years. Daniel’s professionalism, attention to detail and dedication to get the job done correctly is top-notch. I highly recommend these technicians.
I had a service appointment today and our technician was Daniel Moody, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful!! Daniel did a thorough visual inspection of our panel and recommended a handful of options for how to move forward, while also explaining in detail each part and why it is important. Very happy with our service today!
Pat Murphy Electric we’re able to send someone same day. They sent Scott. He was great and knowledgeable! Good communication in what needed to be done and very timely. Inspected my panel and changed a main breaker. Very happy with work and pricing is of good value.
Amazing group of professionals! Spent so much time at my home trying to discover our problem! 3 days! They never gave up! Found the problem finally and the price was (I was dreading it) so much lower than expected!
I called Pat Murphy for help with basement lighting. Carlos was an excellent technician along with his trainee Harold. I really appreciated the way he explained what was going to be done before starting the work.
Scott and Noah at Pat Murphy were professional in every way. They communicated effectively, were on time and most importantly resolved the issue. I would work with them again 10 times out of 10.
