The lake is situated and covers a wide area with a nice view. There is a railway track nearby and the view when a train passing near the lake is adorable!! There is a long pathway around the lake where we can go for a walk or for jogging. On one side, the path is bordered by trees where we can sit back and relax. But the lake and it's surrounding lack good maintenance. There are no benches made for the visitors to sit. Overgrown plants are giving the threat of snakes and other creatures. There is no proper gate to enter. The condition of the road to reach there is terrific! The surrounding is used for dumping wastes and sewage water is flowing and it's disgusting.

I was awestruck to find so many Lotus/ water lillies. Lots of birds can also be spotted here. I felt the morning visit was good compared to the evening one. The view looks good at some parts of the lake and while other parts look dirty. There's a fence around the lake on the half side and the other side has a pathetic road fully muddy and terrain shaped by whoever passed by on the bikes. There's no proper entrance for this lake. Mosquitoes are there so beware of you going in the evening, they might feast on you Cons: no seating arrangements No entrance No proper full track Can maintain the water better No dustbins to dispose litter

Panathur lake is a good place where you can spend your leisure time with the nature music which is composed of the cool breeze and the slow motion of the water. The chirping of the birds and rare sight of the water birds adds more melody to the music. There is no time bound neither is there any need to buy a ticket. This melody is free of cost and it is the best music of the world. It is surrounded by lush green plants which may grow into trees if we do not disturb them. They do not need anything from the visitor, they only ask us to leave them untouched. Watching them grow gives us calmness and make us anxiety free.

I have been visiting this place almost daily for a year. There is a small beautiful island, in the lake. You can find people walking and running in morning and just chilling in the evening. In winters, the fog on the lake makes the place look stunning. Occasionally you can spot water snakes. So keep that in mind. The circumference of the track around the lake is a little more than a km so its easy track your walk.

It's a serene spot amidst the busy Bangalore. Visit here after 5 pm for some therapeutic vibes. Lots of wonderful birds among the tall eucalyptus trees. The railway track is visible and connects Marathahalli to Hosur and every hour one train will pass through.

Its a good place to walk in the evenings. The place is craving for some attention for renovation. If at all the walking trail is renovated and the access is restricted to only people who commute on walk this would be a great place to visit every evening.

What a beautiful lake. One of the best I've visited so far. It's just so peaceful and disconnected from outer traffic and noise from the city. You can chill here. Sit and relax A must visit place i would say.

पनाथुर झील का रख-रखाव अच्छी तरह से नहीं किया गया है। पैदल चलने के लिए कोई साइड ट्रैक नहीं है और यह सिर्फ चलने के लिए टूटा-फूटा रास्ता है। हो सकता है कि भविष्य में सरकार मार्गों का अच्छे से रखरखाव कर सके।

शांत स्थान. पैदल पथ के नवीनीकरण के बाद अब यह बेहतर है। सुबह 10 बजे के बाद बगल का विद्युत शवदाह गृह काम करना शुरू कर देता है. सुबह जल्दी टहलने के लिए अच्छा है। झील के चारों ओर एक पूरा चक्कर 1.2 किमी है।

Today I Visited Pan this lake with my wife Mrs. Shobha Patil. 2nd February,2023 is World Lake Restoration Day. On this account, my visit is important. My wife enjoyed very much. This lake needs publicity and redevelopment to attract the public. Bird song have back music of train voice

Island is meant to be seen from a distance only. Also, the access to the lake is somewhat off the beaten track. Probably that's the reason why it still is clean with very few plastic waste.

Lake view is very good. Now a days it is maintained well. Kids will enjoy feeding the fishes in the lake. Draw back is that location some what like forest area and grave yard besides it. Beware of snakes if you walk alone.

Lovely place for cycling and jogging. 1km is perimeter. Sit here and understand who you are and where are you heading? Don't expect finished tracks, gates for security.
