I actually went there to get extensions done and had previously posted a review the person that did my hair summer was absolutely horrible I asked her to wax my eyebrows as well she took half of my eye eyebrow off and then tried to get me to cover up so that the owner would not find out . she then did my extensions a few days after doing my color they didn't match so she had to recolor my hair, when I saw the ad that they had someone that did extensions I was under the impression that this person had experience doing them but I was very wrong about that she ruined my hair I ended up having to find another place to go to have all of the extensions removed a week and a half later and it left a lot of bald spots I was highly disappointed. My hair was a mess she gave me extremely curly bright red extensions and you could tell that's where the extensions started and finished . It did not match with my hair at all after speaking back and forth with the salon and explaining to them what had happened I got charged for the color twice plus the extensions and the eyebrow wax , I wanted compensation for what had happened it was a battle with the owner to get some type of refund especially that they couldn't help me afterwards. I went there 5 days after getting the extensions done, one of the girls suggested that they would straighten the extensions and cut it and hopefully it would look more natural so I obviously agreed but not realizing that there would not stay straight . As soon as I washed it a few days later it was as curly as it was at the beginning after that happened I really got frustrated and I told the owner that I wanted my money back I finally got the courage to go into the salon to speak to the owner when I walked into the salon the girl that had straighten my hair and cut it got into my face and told me that I should consider myself lucky because normally it would have been a cost of $60 for what she had done the few days before that on top of everything else summer the person that did my hair was sending me threatening messages on Facebook and through text messages which I believe she received my phone number from when I booked my appointment at the salon. when I expressed what was happening to the owner she didn't even seem phased by it ,my fiance also tried to communicate with her but they didn't seem to want to take the blame for what had happened eventually after a month of going back and forth for a month they compensated me part of the money that I had paid for my hair , but the owner kept telling me that she wasn't giving me the money back until I deleted all of my bad reviews I had put online, but I now feel that this should be known and I don't want this to happen to anyone else. threatening clients and telling them that they can't put bad reviews online is very bad for business also when you put a bad review they would immediately message me and tell me to take it down which at this time I now feel comfortable letting people know what happened I will be posting the photos of what she did to my hair and I just want everyone to be very careful if they do go to the salon

For the past couple of years, I have been going to the perfect cuts location in Orleans and sometimes have different employees cutting my hair. There is one haircutter who I believe her name is Farrah as shown on a nametag taped to the mirror at her workstation (older lady, dark hair, glasses, accent). On July 18, 2023, I visited the location for a haircut. She proceeded to cut my hair and while using the buzz cutter to get a close cut and taper the back of my neckline the cutter significantly braised my skin to the point where I jumped with a sharp pain as the skin was cut with the buzz cutter. She proceeded to dismiss the incident saying my skin is too sensitive and shrugged it off as if to imply it was nothing. She demonstrated the cutter on her arm saying, "see, it doesn't hurt me, no issue.” She failed to understand that skin on different parts of the body has different characteristics. Neck skin has different elasticity/texture than arm skin as does the skin on your feet or the palm of your hand. I showed her the area where the skin started to turn red and bleed. The next day, as shown in the picture, the evidence is clear. On a side note, a few months back I was waiting my turn for a haircut and Farrah was cutting a gentleman’s hair. I witnessed the same incident on the individual with the exact same response from Farrah who simply shrugged it off. I am writing this review to advise others that if Farrah cuts your hair, be well informed the experience you will likely encounter. Either the cutter is defective or Farrah fails to take proper care for the well being of the clients she serves. On another side note, when I got home from my haircut the feedback from my family members was that the cut was terrible. I was told my hair cut looks like a bowl was placed on my head and the hair was cut around it. I will be sure to phone ahead to schedule my visit to ensure a differnent haircutter is in attendance. Or I'll just find a different organization and pay accordingly for better quality.

I wish I can give a zero star for this place. I went in a few months ago, there was only a blonde lady there that was taking care of the whole place. I showed her a picture of how I want my hair to be and expected her to do the right job. I mean god a picture of hairstyle I want is much more better than describing I thought. She then cut it the wrong way, I complained, she said oh you guys have different hair texture( the model was white, I'm not but we both hair natural pin straight hair), YOU ARE NOT HER. As if I'm complaining that I don't LOOK like her, the reason I was mad was because SHE CUT IT WRONG AND IS BLAMING ON ME. I don't know about the barber, but ladies if you are getting a hair cut, beware she might give you a wrong haircut and say stuffs like diffrent hair texture, you're not a model,etc. Also she didn't even take care of all the hair that is been cut, when I left there was hair all over my face,shoes, pants. She didn't even offer me something to take them off.

I was a little skeptical about going here but I’m glad I did. ANYHONY is AMAZING !! Not only did he give me a perfect cut and some great hair advice but he made me feel welcome. He took his time and was very meticulous making sure all my ends were even despite having a client waiting in the second half of the appointment. Customer service to the extent that Anthony provided today is rare to come by. I get the feeling he truly enjoys his job and has a passion for it. My new spot for a routine cut, and I will definitely be requesting Anthony!

Was always satisfied with the hair cut i got from here but this is the first time i got a bread styling and Abe did a fantastic job!! I have been to many Bear salons in Ottawa and none of them was able to give me the style i was hoping for. Abe got it on the first try. If you are looking for great hair cut and beard trimming/styling go to this place and ask for Abe.

Nice no non sense cut at this place. Saeed is very good. Farouk had left. I will not recommend this place for women or girl hairstyling. Make your decision of getting hair cut when Farrah is working. She is alright for job but little bit not refine how to communicate. I never had a bad experience in last 4 years , six times a year.

I have gone here about 6 times now, 1 every other month, for the last year. Every time has been pretty consistent. I have short hair, and they do a fine job with it. It's affordable and they are always pleasant. Plus, if you walk in on a Monday or Tuesday, those are the quiet days so you can avoid the wait. I have no complaints.

Went to get a skin fade there from Farouk and I can easily say that was one of the best fades I’ve ever gotten. He put plenty of details and took his time and he made it look amazing. Definitely go check out this barbershop and ask for Farouk...prices are great and u won't find prices like that for that great quality of work

Stay away. Salam is an excellent barber, but he is gone and Farah is back. She is rude and loud and I will never be back. Her colleagues can’t stand her either. I congratulated her on her retirement whenever it comes - the sooner the better. Someone that bitter needs to stop damaging the business and haranguing customers.

The “manager” cut my hair as everyone else was sick or had to stay home with their kids. She should not be cutting hair as this why by far the worst cut I have ever received! Uneven and long in places. I don’t believe she is a hairdresser but probably figured she knows how from watching others cut hair….

Had an awesome experience at Perfect Cuts!! Farouk did a great job, giving me a perfect fade. He took his time and his attention to detail was reflected by the result. Overall a great experience with super friendly staff (Unice and Sayeed included!), will definitely be my go to for haircuts from now on!

I went to this place for a trim and a little off the side, the haircut that I got was soo bad I had to go to another barber shop to fix it, she took off most of my hair and left it messy, unsymmetrical and uneven. It was the worst haircut experience and I suggest that you only come here for a buzzcut.

Gave explicit instructions on how I wanted my hair cut. She ignored them and just completely ruined my hair. Even put it in a style that I would never, ever wear, without asking me. At all. Didn't even resemble the style I wore into the place. Absolutely avoid this horrible place.

There was old lady when I went yesterday for my son haircut, I asked her to do 1 from sides and 1.5 at top. Look at these photos what she did, my son is cyring still and did not go to school. Really bad experience. Its same on top of the head and sides.. as if he is bald.

I took my daughter there for a "trim". No wash, no style...just a trim straight across the bottom of her hair. Her hair is long and we just got it trimmed straight across. Took not even 5 minutes. I was charged $27! Outrageous. Never going back there!

They do not know how to cut women long hair. Not even and simply cuts straight across. Worst experience ever. Will not use again. And my hair is thick, fine and everything brushes in nicely. Not this time. So upset. Save your money.

Been going there for about a year now, Men’s haircut went up a bit in price BUT still cheaper than any other overpriced hair cutters such as First Choice and that WAY overpriced Imperial Barber. It’s just a simple hair cut I get.

Took my 2 year old to cut his hair here for the first time and Farouk did an excellent job! Not only is the staff super friendly and welcoming but their prices are much more affordable than other places! Will definitely return.

Worst experience ever. Hairdresser was extremely rude and did not listen to my request. Asked for an inch to be taken off, she gave me layers and took off way too much hair, now I can not style it or even put it in a ponytail.

Sayeed and Anthony are the barbers and they both do an amazing job. They both pay great attention to details. The only problem.. pricing is too low. I feel like I'm robbing them every time.

Perfectly cut/trimmed hair by Farah. She knows how to make bangs look good for age. Very pleasant too and on time. They are very caring and helpful people and in touch with community.

Finally, a normal, good quality barber shop with reasonable prices. No nonsense: no need to download an app, make an account, reservation, up-selling on unnecessary stuff etc.

I go there for my two little boys (3 & 5 yo) and they are really good and patient with them. Really good price for a quick hair cut, first come first serve.
