To start off, I would just like to say this place is perfect. I ordered the crab meat sushi, crab meat california rolls, shrimp dumplings and takoyaki. The crab meat sushi was my first taste of crab meat and I'm glad it was at Osaka Sushi because they really did it justice. The california rolls were just as good and all the ingredients tasted really fresh. I don't know what happened but the shrimp dumplings felt like cloud 9, they were yummy, warm and you could use the sauces to taste so that just made the experience even better. The takoyaki went beyond what I expected, it was so soft and the sauce was absolutely delicious with the wheat balls of yummy goodness and of course the iconic squid filling really made it fulfilling. I used to be hesitant around seafood and really picky concerning the seafood I ate but Osaka Sushi turned that around for me with a complete 360 because I adore seafood now. So clearly the food was a 5 star. For the service, all the employees were very kind and respectful and it was a really warm place to be in because of how welcoming they were, I've never been subject to such impeccable service so I hope Osaka Sushi knows how great I felt after I left. Another 5 stars for the service. Then there's the atmosphere and that was also clearly a 5 star because of the 5 star food and the 5 star service. I love this place and I've been spam-recommending it to all my friends and when I realized I could write a review and spam-recommend it to the public, I decided to do exactly that so pleasepleaseplease if you're looking for a great place to eat sushi, Osaka Sushi is for you.

This our go to sushi place. We have been coming here for years. We always get the dinner option even if we go for lunch just to have more options. The food comes out fast and the service is pretty good. The only down side is at certain days the quality of their fried food products isn’t as good compared to when they have fresh oil. But nonetheless this place is pretty solid compared to other all you can eat sushi places. When it comes to tipping, they already include it in your bill and its around $5 which I think is reasonable and when you pay cash, you get 10% off.

We've been coming to this all-you-can-eat place for more than 5 years because we like that they offer a 50% discount for someone's birthday and a 10% discount if you pay by cash. Our last visit was 6 months ago, and since then, both the food and service have declined. Last night, we decided to give it another chance, but it only got worse. The deep-fried chicken and chicken wings were way overcooked; instead of being golden brown, they were dark brown, and you could even smell that they were fried in bad oil. The famous beef tenderloin was undercooked, which is the first time we've experienced this issue in the last 5 years. I believe their sushi is still okay if you go there for all-you-can-eat sushi/rolls. At the new increased price of $37 per person for dinner, there are plenty of similar options available. We probably won't be going there again.

UPDATE DEC. 26th 2023. 2 days after my visit. I was hospitalized twice with food poisoning following my visit to this restaurant. Please avoid eating here at all costs. Lacklustre experience for the price. Weekend dinner is $40.99 +tax per person. Although the menu is extensive the quality is poor and the taste is simply not there. The service was spectacular. Great staff. Super clean but the food was something left to be desired. I sent back a number of plates which included; - cheese wontons - every beef dish - Takoyaki - cheese mussels - crème brûlée The ice cream seemed to be pre-scooped and refrozen into the bowls for convenience. Everything except the grilled firey dragon roll seemed to have been reheated from frozen. All in all for the price it isn’t worth it. Good to try in the city but out of 10…. Possibly 4. They also added an additional 13% service charge on top of the bill. Which I didn’t particularly like. (Left a cash tip) I noticed they almost charged me for 2 and I let them know. They fixed it immediately. The music and staff was the best part of my experience.

Wonderful sushi restaurant with friendly & welcoming staff with delightful service! All of the dishes that we had ordered were served nothing less then perfection, we didn’t have to wait long at all, plenty of vegetarian options à la cart and a decent variety + generous amount of sushi for the vegetarian combo. The restaurant has a modern appeal and it’s very clean one of the best sushi restaurants! An added bonus is that it’s very reasonably priced :

I went there with a friend of mine. I called ahead to make sure they were open, the worker on the phone told me not to book a reservation despite the place being really busy. When we about to talk to the person at the front desk, the person just walked away to serve other people. I liked how you can order on a tablet but most of items didn't say the ingredients so it was hard for my friend who only like vegetarian sushi so the options were limited for her. We asked 3 servers for spicy mayo and didn't get it until 15 - 20 mins later. We got most of our food almost an hour later but one just didn't come at all by the time we ordered dessert. The food was good but the service wasn't the best. I wouldn't go here when it's really busy and get takeout instead. ACYE weekend is $37.99 + tax = $42.93 (not including tip)

Ever since sushi, Kiku went out of business on Don Mills, I’ve been looking for an all you can eat sushi place. I think this is it, as the fish is tasty. But the service was really poor. They make you order on the iPad, but it doesn’t seem like, they are aware of what you ordered. I had to wait 50 minutes, and nothing was coming out, and I had to stop various waiters to demand my food, and even then they weren’t looking at my order they were just bringing me whatever I was verbally asking for. Poor experience, good food I’ll try it again maybe. Updated 8/19 - I went back and the service was just as poor and the sushi quality was poor. The chef did a bad job of building a maki roll. Overall low quality food and service. Not recommended.

The overall experience was mediocre; the food was just okay, reminiscent of a casual all-you-can-eat sushi spot. However, our visit was marred by the early onset of cleaning activities an hour before closing, accompanied by a strong bleach smell that forced us to leave. Adding to the oddities, they tack on a 26% charge to the bill, but if you pay in cash, you receive a 10% discount on top of that. All in all, not much interest in going there again.

Our first order was reasonably quick, even some items never arrived. However, when we entered the second order, we had to keep asking for the order status to different servers several times. Some of the food finally arrived after 45 minutes. Considering the restaurant was not busy at the time and other “new” tables kept receiving their food, it is clear that they intentionally slow down the service for second orders. I dont reco’d Osaka Sushi - all you can eat.

We went to Osaka sushi to have dinner all you can eat on a Sunday night and although the food didn't disappoint, the service was not top notch for a place like this. However, the food choices were pretty vast and we enjoyed the different choices of Sushi they had on the menu. They ran out of creme brulee which was disappointing since we were looking forward to try it. The dessert choices are really limited and you'll be disheartened if you're a sweet lover like me.

I have been going to this place for quiet some time now and I can certainly say that its an amazing place. I didn’t like the atmosphere and the service there before but i think there has been a staff change and now its just one of the best sushi places and definitely my favourite. The servers are very kind and friendly and the manager was also an extremely friendly person. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Great all you can eat sushi restaurant with diverse menu available. iPad ordering system is in place. Lovely atmosphere and clean washrooms. Booths and tables available, and the restaurant is able to accommodate large groups of people and reservations. The beef and steak skewers were well above other AYCE places in the GTA. The dessert menu had a surprisingly large variety of items including ice cream, cakes, mousse, deep fried custard and milk etc. Serving staff were friendly and service was very quick.

We went around lunch time and got their a la carte menu. I think the sashimi is a hit or miss depending on what you're ordering. Our salmon sashimi was good, but the tuna was still frozen and dry. I don't recommend their combo H because there's not a lot of fish, their egg sushi is too sweet. Their tuna Maki and deep fried milk was good. Overall, it's good for the price.

Food is fine, but the staff seems really stretched thin. like everyone was nice and doing their best, but there is only so much you can do when you are understaffed. Expect to be charged a "service fee" on top of your bill. unless you are starving and ready to over eat its unlikely you will get your money's worth.

If i could give this place zero stars i would. Worse All you can eat Sushi place. I went here for a friends birthday lunch recently and it was a horrible experience. The food was not good. Too salty, overcooked, undercooked, cold, just not good at all. The staff were rude and unprofessional. They would look directly at you and start laughing. On top of it all i ended up getting food poisoning :( Would NOT recommend going here.

Enjoy the food a lot, it is tasty and usually you do not have to wait too long for it; although a couple times the kitchen didn't send all the items I ordered. The servers are terrific and attentive, all of them. The ambience is nice and relaxed. The music they play in the background is varied and pleasing. The price for the evening "All You Can Eat" imo is a bit pricey, but again when your put everything together, I guess it is worth it. I look forward to my next visit.

Some amazing sushi. You can go during 11am-2pm for a special discount. It gets busier and expensive post lunch. Needless to say their Sushi is always top class and they maintain their service in quite high standards. Parking is always easy and convenient. Goodservice. Love this place. Highly recommended for someone looking for fresh and delicious Sushi. Their menu doesn't end only at Sushi. They have multiple varieties in All You Can Eat. Highly Recommended!

All you can eat restaurant, have lunch and dinner special which you can choose either one with different price and different dishes. Lunch special are $10 cheaper and with limited choice of dishes, while dinner special provides more variety. I come at around 2pm of four people and we prefer to take the dinner special. We had enjoyed the variety of tasty food very much.

Good AYCE sushi but quite a limited selection for the price (non "luxury" menu). They offer a decent selection of rolls but are missing some typical staples such as green dragon. Food was tasty and ingredients were fresh. Service was good although quite slow, they did have hiring signs up so they may have just been short staffed. Overall a good option for ayce but definitely lacking in value.

GAVE THEM a 15% tip but the manager decided to return 40 cents to us and insult us for not paying enough. Do not come to this place unless you are willing to pay extra for non-existing services. The food and the service was terrible. We waited 20 minutes for our seats when the restaurant was half empty. The staff also tried to over charge my two kids with adult prices. Do not waste your time here, there are better restaurants around.

  • Jmay

We go a couple times per month for years now and we've never had sushi or teppanyaki that wasn't fresh! Kirk, the manager, is so friendly and goes above and beyond! All the servers are very nice and attentive. This is our go-to sushi place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Went during lunch. Love the food, they had "WAGYU Sushi and Eel sushi" that was amazing. Other great item was the beef teriyaki. I would say the are the best for making beef teriyaki. Food is surprisingly good. I could probably come here just for thr tender stake. Service is always friendly. The decor is very nice and classy not cheap. Food comes out quick, One day we came it was peak time and we waited for a table however food came out just as fast as when it was slow day. Probably the most impressive thing is food speed, deliciousness and service so I can easily recommend this place

For $27, the lunch all you can eat menu wasn’t bad. Most foods tasted decent and the quality of the salmon was high considering its price. The noodles in their ramen was a bit off, since they were using a rice-noodle like noodles instead of the traditional egg noodles. Overall a decent and satisfying experience.

It was out first time dine at this restaurant. Overall mediocre at best. Floor is dirty. Had a piece of hair in my crab meat salad. Taste-wise, it’s securely not worth the $37/per person. The speed they take food to your table is extremely slow. And there were two items never arrived. I will not go to this restaurant again. And do joy recommend to anyone.

This is an awesome place! Quality of both service and food is high! The servers are attentive and quick. The food is fresh and tasty! Good variety of appetizers, grilled seafood, meats and desserts. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The ipad menu is convenient. Orders were brought quickly. We will definitely keep coming to Osaka sushi AYCE restaurant!

Staff were efficient and nice. I sat closer to the sushi bar, and honestly, I appreciated that the staff were quiet. It contributed to the pleasant experience. The sashimi and grilled foods were great. The xiao long bao and shrimp dumpling though were a bit underwhelming.

Honestly food was ok - this is typical with AYCE places. Looks really good but not really worth it for the price. The amount we ate wasn’t worth it and flavour wasn’t anything special. Usually go here once a year or so. I would much rather prefer non AYCE places for higher quality. The services were quite friendly though.
