Da hat es eine grosse Auswahl von Büchern. Das Personal ist sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Eine Frau nahm sich Zeit und schaute mit mir die Bücher durch, welche ich benötigen könnte, für meine weitere Ausbildung. Sie nahm sich viel Zeit und zeigte grosses Interesse, ich fand das wirklich enorm lieb und Respektvoll. Auch erklärte mir ein Mann im Gang weiter hinten, welche die besten Englischbücher sind und warum. Ich werde wieder hierher kommen, wenn ich Bücher brauche. Ich schätze das hilfsbereite Personal, welches sich so Zeit nimmt, damit gemeinsam eine angepasste Auswahl, sorgfältig ausgefiltert werden kann. Vielen Dank

Dieser Laden ist ein tolles Buchgeschäft. Auf verschiedenen Etagen, thematisch geordnet, findet man(n) sich rasch zurecht. Beratende Mitarbeiter gibt es in jedem Stock, manches Mal sogar zwei auf derselben Etage. Es gibt auch Sitzgelegenheiten um in einem Buch der Wahl ein wenig zu schmökern, oder einfach kurz eine Auszeit zu nehmen. Ausserdem befindet sich im oberen Stock ein Cafe, wo man bequem pausieren und etwas zu sich nehmen kann. Für Bücher und Spiele... gerne wieder

Every time I want to buy a book, I check here first. From Japanese to Cooking and Chess, this place has absolutely everything you could look for. They have lots of competent staff, who can help you if you need it. There are books for everyone here, ranging from childrens books to action books for adults. There are loads of English books and books to learn a lot of different language. It is the biggest Orell Füssli in Switzerland with - probably - the biggest variety of books.

Am 27.09.23 Nachmittags,mein altes Tolino gebracht, ich konnte kein Update mehr machen. Mir wurde geholfen mit viel und geduldigem Einsatz und anschliessend mit guter Erklärung für weiteres vorgehen. Leider habe ich die Namen der zwei tollen Mitarbeiter von Orell Füessli vergessen, möchte mich aber auf diesem Weg nochmal bedanken. Ich fand auch den Laden sehr schön und überall freundliche Mitarbeiter

Great book store in the center of the city.. They have so much different type of books... Store are on few floors... If you like to read you always find something interesting to you or for gift... Habe über diese Filiale ein bestimmes Buch reserviert 1 Woche vor Weihnachten. Es wurde mir dann gesagt es wird entsprechend bestellt und kann es am nächsten Tag abholen kommen. Am Kundendienst wollte ich es entsprechend entgegennehmen, wurden leider vertröstet das kein Exemplar vorhanden ist. Enttäuschend und ärgerlich, gerade wenn es um Weihnachtsgeschenke geht.

Mit einem nicht alltäglichen Problem das ein nicht funktionierendes Hörbuch betrifft, betrat ich den Laden und ging glücklich wieder nach Hause, weil sich alle Mitarbeiterinnen des Kundendienstes, meinem Problem liebevoll annahmen und in die Wege leiteten, dass ich das Hörbuch zurück geben konnte und mein dafür bezahltes Geld zurück bekomme. I will never buy anything again from Orell Fussli Online store. I made an order for a book "ready to dispatch within 1-2 days" on December 9th and I still haven't received it on December 31st. I haven't received any update from the online store on the delay. On their website the order is still "In progress". Such a big disappointment. Avoid this company.

Riesige Auswahl. Schöne Atmosphäre. Man bleibt und stöbert und kann auf gemütlichen Sofas die Bücher checken. Gefährlich: es hat zu viele ansprechende Bücher, liebevoll arrangiert. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Super Kundendienst. Habe wie immer viel zu viele Bücher gekauft. Gerne wieder.

Schöne Buchhandlung mitten in Zürich. Habe als Nicht-Zürcher auf dem Weg zum Bahnhof ein Comic und eine Biographie gesucht. Ich bin generell Freund von Buchhandlungen. Für Orell-Füssli in Zürich war ich aber trotzdem etwas über die magere Auswahl überrascht. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Sonst aber ok.

Found it a pleasure to spend time there! Extensive selection of books, including English ones. Do look out for the recommendations in each section. Lovely kids section at the top. There are also cards, calendars and some stationaries. Bit of lifestyle merch too. Will certainly come back.
