As a healthcare provider I am hypercritical of the knowledge and skills of the practitioners I seek care from. That's why when I recommend Dr. Will with a 5-star review you know I'm serious y'all! I have had back pain in cycles throughout my life and in February sustained an injury that was debilitating. I couldn't bend over to brush my teeth, put on socks, pick up things off the floor. Nothing. It was a miserable existence. I tried to ignore it like everyone does but continued to decline. I went for an initial consultation which entailed a one-on-one, problem-focused interview and examination of movement including limitations. Dr. Will told me it would take 6 sessions and I was HIGHLY thinking he was full of it. But I trusted him and I kid you not HE FIXED EVERY PROBLEM I HAD IN 5 SESSIONS!!! This man is a genius, not to oversell him but sorry that's how it felt when I could bend over and lift weights again without acute back pain. He coached me through the ups and downs of the healing process and went above and beyond during each session remaining focused. He doesn't just prescribe stretches and exercises, he works with you every step of the way. He is also just a genuinely kind human being. He also ensures you are secured in your post-treatment life. He connected me with a gym and trainers he knew would monitor my form and ensure the continued safety of my body (River City Strength if you're interested). If you're thinking of going somewhere else, don't! This man takes care of business.
I was referred to Dr. Gonzaba by Dr. Saenz at SA Sports Medicine after some arthritis and running related issues with my right knee. I have run for around 30 years and this was only the second injury that has kept me from running for longer that a few weeks. Dr. Saenz said that I would benefit from some gait analysis and PT from Dr. Gonzaba. I wish I had come to Dr. Gonzaba years ago. I know it sounds corny and cliche but Dr. Gonzaba concentrates on the small stuff. And it turns out that some of that small stuff effects the big stuff. Not having done much PT in my running career, going to do PT was not high on my excitement list. However, I did like going as Dr. Gonzaba educated my on the whys that we were doing the certain exercises and how that would ultimately effect my running and why it was important. That matters to me and I can see and appreciate that he loves what he does and cares about his patients. I really can't say enough good things about what he is doing at his practice. It was a long drive for me to go to the visits but I really like what he is doing and I will definitely go back in the future for any touch ups that I need to do with my form or any problems that may arise. Can't forget about Alissa too. Very professional and was always very nice. Thanks again for helping get me and my running back on track and hope to see you on the road/trail somewhere. Toby Vicknair
Dr. Will is a total wizard! I came to him with some pelvic malalignment (who knew that was a thing!?) and some intense, very very specifically located, pain in my hip that only hurt when I moved a certain way - and on only one side! Doc was able to quickly identify (the dude can see with his hands, it's incredible!) which muscles were angry and causing me that crazy specific pain on my first visit! The treatment program he prescribed for me was hard and exhausting. And as we progressed, he built onto my exercises from the week before which meant the exercises intensified! But, it was worth every one of my curse words.. Here I am 5 weeks later, pain free, back to running, and running faster than I had before. (I know he's going to read this, so I'll admit it: last night I ran 1 of my 3 min interval runs at a super fast pace and felt SO strong. I promise I peeled it back!!!) Physical therapy is one of those things that you get out of it, what you put into it; if you take his advice and put in the work, you're going to see the results your body is screaming to you that it needs. Dr. Will is the person that can hear those screams and know how to quiet them.. please, trust him! My gratitude for his time and patience with me, is eternal! The only advice I have for any new patients is to remember to count your reps, because Doc's fave number is 7! LOL
Looking for an alternate to another round of steroid injections, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Gonzaba. After my initial evaluation, I knew I was in good hands and after the first 2 sessions I wish I had reached out to him so much sooner. He listened to what I thought was the issue, evaluated and came up with a treatment plan for not only what I thought was the issue but for multiple muscle groups that were all factoring into the issue. Following the prescribed protocol I have seen huge improvements in mobility and reduction of pain and direct gains in my training for endurance sports as areas that I didn't realize were issues got the attention they needed. Dr. Gonzaba keeps it simple, explains each prescribed exercise through motion, ensures that you understand and are able to perform them correctly. He even offers to video you so you have a visual queue if needed! The follow up after each session includes an email and text with links to the homework with photos and explanations to assist in executing the exercises. Not only does he help in the moment but his simple and manageable approach to daily maintenance work makes it attainable and easy to continue with no excuses. As an athlete, maintenance work with Dr. Gonzaba to correct weaknesses and imbalances is a secret weapon to unlocking unknown power and speed.
I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Olmos Park Physio, specifically with William's incredible expertise and guidance. After facing a setback in my training due to an injury, I was worried that I might not be able to get back on track for my hundred mile run. However, William's knowledge, patience, and personalized approach made all the difference. From the very first session, William took the time to understand my injury, my goals, and my previous training routine. He tailored a comprehensive rehabilitation plan that not only addressed my current injury but also focused on preventing future issues. His deep understanding of biomechanics and running mechanics was evident in every step of the process. Thanks to William's expertise and exceptional care, I was not only able to recover fully from my injury but also to get back to running better than ever. I'm now well on my way to training for my hundred mile run, feeling stronger and more confident than I thought possible. I am incredibly grateful to William's unwavering support and guidance throughout my journey. His commitment to helping people achieve their goals is truly remarkable. If you're in need of top-notch physiotherapy with a personal touch, Olmos Park Physio is the place to go!
Absolutely incredible place-- I was injured in September of 2020 in a car accident when I got rear-ended. It messed up my neck and upper back and I saw a chiropractor for the injury from September to about April of 2021, and the tension and pain just wouldn't quit. I was discharged because my chiropractor said he couldn't do much else for me. I got to school in the fall here in Texas, and I started going to PT since I still was having problems and my MRI reflected scar tissue and swelling. Olmos Park Physio genuinely helped me SO much-- Will is professional and kind, easy to talk to and understanding, and flexible in scheduling. He tested for my mobility, worked some of the knots out and helped me stretch, and gave me weekly exercises to do on my own. If you had a friend or family member in pain who was not getting help or unsure what to try, I would tell them physical therapy is a great avenue to try and this clinic is awesome. My favorite thing about Olmos Park Physio was how friendly and truly helpful Will was during our sessions, and my neck truly did feel brand new with consistent exercises and strengthening. If you're looking for a professional, helpful, caring, and effective physical therapist, Olmos Park Physio is the way to go!
I started running in December of 2020. My first goal was to get a mile in and then subsequent goals were a 5k, 10k, 15k and a half marathon. A year into I started experience knee pain which limited my mileage. I ended up “No showing” my first competitive race in April 2021. As I realised that I had a “knee problem”, I started to cross train with swimming and cycling to reduce joint stress. I was able to complete the Rock N Roll Half in San Antonio in December 2021 but was definitely hampered with knee pain. Upon reviewing my race pictures, a friend of mine noted a gait abnormality on the side my knee would hurt. I had been making plans to see Will prior to the race but had been putting it off out of fear of being told not to compete. I ended up seeing Will in January and did a 6 treatment program. We worked on gait correction and hip stability and the results have been great. My knee no longer hurts and I’m able to run faster then before. I’m really glad I went to OPP and highly recommend it to any fellow aspiring athletes for a baseline evaluation and certainly for treatment programs if necessary.
I went to William on Oct 24th (2 days before a race) because I knew that there was something not quite right on my prior bike fit, I was having neck pain and some right knee pain. He used his PT skills to assess my flexibility prior to even looking at my bike. This is the part I feel was the most helpful. Not every body is the same! He took his time with my fit to ensure everything was right and I was comfortable (another thing that is important!). I waited to write this review to be as accurate as possible. I have ridden on my triathlon bike multiple times since, once in a local Olympic triathlon and again on a 95 mile ride this past weekend. I had my best bike split ever in a race. My average power has increased and I have no pain on my rides. There is always a level of discomfort when you are on the bike for longer distance but the difference is getting off your bike and still feeling great after 5 + hours. I have a Ironman race in 2 weeks (with 112 mile bike ride) and I am confident that this fit is perfect! Thank you William Gonzaba! Highly recommended!
I have been competing in powerlifting meets for nearly six years. With the amount of training required each week and years of training, aches, pains, and sometimes injuries are bound to occur. I've worked with Will twice now to address injuries that have emerged since moving to San Antonio in 2021. Working with Will has been such a pleasure. It's evident that he is highly knowledgeable in his field and genuinely cares about his clients. At every appointment, Will was extremely patient and personable and took the time to understand my concerns. His treatment plans always seemed well thought out and pragmatic and were personalized to my injuries and specific sport. Under Will's guidance, I've experienced significant improvement in my recovery and performance. Each time we have worked together, I have learned a lot to continue staying injury-free, ways to improve as a strength athlete, and general health and wellness. I highly recommend Will to anyone seeking support in their athletic journey.
I'm a "senior" endurance bike racer, and as such I am constantly battling knee injuries, especially when I'm training hard. I put a lot of miles on my bike, and consider it pretty "dailed in"; however, a couple of local athletes, whose opinions I greatly value (thanks Aaron and AJ!), urged me to go see Will for a bike fit. During the visit, Will spent 45 minutes talking with me about my riding experience, past injuries, and did a physical assessment of my flexibility, etc. He then put me on my bike and watched me pedal, after which he methodically checked my bike fitment and made two simple adjustments. To be honest, I was skeptical when he was done. However, I have spent the last three days riding hard, hilly routes with no knee pain for the first time in over a year! Will is truly a bike whispering genius and a miracle worker! It is no accident that every single google review listed here is 5 stars. He REALLY is that good at what he does. Thanks again Will!
My physician referred me to Olmos Park Physio initially for assistance with a bike fitting. During the course of our conversation, I asked Dr. Gonzaba for an additional consultation regarding a chronic ankle injury that had been bothering me for many years. Within four sessions, my ankle pain was greatly improved and I am able to maintain it on my own!! I would highly recommend coming to see Dr. Gonzaba. If you are uncertain, even scheduling the initial consultation will set your mind at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very responsive. He genuinely cares about all of his patients. I never feel rushed through a session. All of the sessions tailored to my specific needs. I have a very complex medical history that I thought could never be helped with physical therapy. I was happy to be proven wrong!
I have heard of Dr. Gonzaba from several local runners, so I know he has plenty of experience treating endurance athletes. Decided to see Dr. Gonzaba after an overuse hip injury from running. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly, evaluated my muscular weaknesses, and prescribed exercises over the course of several sessions that ultimately had me back to running and feeling healthy ahead of schedule. He was not afraid of adjusting the treatment plan based on the latest progress, and go beyond addressing the symptom but also the activity that caused the injury in the first place. His analysis of my running gait was thorough and gave helpful feedback on my running stride. As a long distance runner, I highly recommend Dr. Gonzaba for treating running injuries and for injury prevention.
Dr. Will is awesome! I've had IT band pain for around 5 years. It would flare up when I went running so I had to stop. Recently, I started cycling more and the IT band pain came back. Since working with Dr. Will I have been able to cycle with no pain and I have even started running again with minimal pain. He was very clear about my plan and all the exercises I needed to do. My sessions with him have helped me tremendously and I am glad I decided to go see him. He will tell you exactly what you need and will not try to get you into getting more sessions than the ones you need. The space is really clean and safe and he is taking all the precautions necessary during the pandemic. I would recommend anyone who is having any sort of pain to go to Olmos Park Physio.
Olmos Park Physio with Dr. Will is a great place to go for PT+! I have a job with repetitive actions that over the years has aggravated my shoulder. Evaluation and treatment plan included exercises and stretches I did at home and incorporate in the office so I can keep doing what I love. He works with you to accomplish your health goals! 5 stars for Dr Will at Olmos Park Physio I had a “something” in my knee that was causing me discomfort and weakness. So who do you call? Dr Will!! After a thorough evaluation of my knee he set out a program and 4weeks later my knee is back moving with no pain. Catching things early and having a good Physio like Dr Will help me heal and strengthen, may prevent me from having a bad knee at my age later. Thank you OPP
I went to Olmos Park Physio to address pain that arose from having a desk job and sitting way too much. Dr. Will Gonzaba was very genuine and down to earth in his approach. He got to know me, not just my condition. He helped me understand what was causing the pain, and how his hands-on therapy and targeted exercises would help alleviate the problem. He made it easy to keep track of everything by emailing me the exercises every week and answering questions promptly. By my last appointment, there was a day where I had complete relief of my pain, and Dr. Gonzaba gave me advice on what I could do to keep the problem from coming back. I definitely recommend Olmos Park Physio if you're looking for a friendly face to help with your PT needs!
Hello! 3 weeks ago I went to Olmos Park Physio because I had been feeling pains in the bottom of my feet in the mornings and throughout the day. Also, when I run long distances my left leg always ends up with all types of issues. So, when I saw Will for that hour I hoped to discover something, anything that could help. He took his time to review that left leg, and then gave me some recommendations. Super pleasant, super private. Quality! The results, today I woke up with no pain in my feet, AND I beat my own record on the stair-master. My hips feel like they’re balanced now. (I didn’t know they were unbalanced/off before.) now, I’m ready to race, and lift heavy. Thank you OPPhysio!! C U in a month for another exam!
Dr. Gonzaba is absolutely fantastic! I have been suffering from lingering shoulder pain for quite sometime from years of weight lifting. It got to the point where it was limiting my workouts and that’s when I knew it was time to address the problem. Dr. Gonzaba was great to work with and really helped my shoulder issue. Once he evaluated me he went straight to work and just after my 1st session I had already felt relief in my shoulder. After completing my treatment my shoulder feels great and doesn’t limit me during my workouts! He is a great listener and is able to explain what is causing the problem in detail but easy to understand. I would recommend everyone to Olmos Park Physio!
I recently finished my PT with Dr Gonzaga and it was a beneficial, worthwhile experience. I was dealing with low back stiffness from years of lifting weights and training hard on the bike. I needed long term solutions instead of quick fixes that didn’t work. Dr Gonzaga has a keen eye and a sharp ear, he isolated the exercises I needed, and the type of treatment he saw fit for future visits. I’m a personal trainer so my body must be capable. He’s a very nice guy and easy to talk to you. I could also tell he always had my best interest at heart. He’s genuine and knowledgeable. Go see doctor Will for all your pt needs at Olmos Park Physiotherapy and get to feeling better immediately.
I feel so fortunate to have found Will Gonzaba at Olmos Park Physio. I have had a neck issue that has caused me problems for several years. I went through physical therapy treatments at two different physical therapy clinics and found no relief. Their approach was cookie cutter and I didn't get the individual attention I needed. I have finally found relief after going through treatment at Olmos Park Physio. Will Gonzaba immediately knew exactly what treatment I needed and we went right to it. He treats me one on one so he is not trying to manage other patients at the same time. He is knowledgeable and patient. Don't go anywhere else if you are serious about getting help.
Dr. Gonzaba is the best physical therapist in San Antonio for ultra runners. I had worked with him for a bad hamstring strain that was preventing me from running at all. After a few months we were able to get me back into running ultras. He does a mixture of manual therapy and individually designed homework exercises to meet the patient’s needs. Through his background in endurance sports, he can relate to many of the problems that ultrarunners experience and rehabbed my hamstring and glute to the strongest they have ever been. If you do any endurance sports, and want a physical therapist who can get you back to action, I would strongly recommend Dr. Gonzaba.

Clean and welcoming environment. Very professional. I started treatment with Will because I wanted to work on my posture. I was tired of my low back stopping me from movements in the gym and getting in the way of me living life to the fullest. Plus I would like to stand with taller posture. My initial assessment was very thorough and based on that assessment, was given exercises to complete at home between appointments. I appreciated that Will also emailed me the exercises along with videos so I could reference them as needed. I'm doing my exercises, going to my appointments, and already seeing results! I highly recommend Olmos Park Physio!
I came to Dr. Gonzaba after having surgery for a torn ACL. He is a very thorough physical therapist that takes his time when providing treatment. This recovery process is extremely long and includes a lot of different variables. Dr. Gonzaba was very good at listening when I told him how my body was feeling, and not over doing it if I was having a rough day with my knee. He has been consistent through my treatment, giving me beneficial exercises and providing constant words of encouragement. If you are looking for a PT clinic that cares about you and will take the time to help you fully recover from your injury, this is the place for you!
I came to Will with a front hip area impingement that was delaying my training for an upcoming Strongman lifting event. We had a thorough conversation and walk through of when and how the pain began. He had me show him the carrying event that it acted up the most, and we proceeded to set up a game plan of stretches and calisthenics exercises that eventually lead to NO PAIN two weeks before the competition. Extremely personable man and very intuitive to how my body was going to react to certain recovery movements. Even took some spare time to work on lingering shoulder issues. I would recommend him over and over again!!!
Dr. Gonzaba is a very talented, experienced, and thorough practitioner! My 12 year old daughter went to see him for a sports injury to her lower back. When she first arrived she was having severe lower back pain and was very immobile due to the pain and inflammation. Dr. Gonzaba was very caring, diligent and provided a set plan of attainable goals and exercises to get her back to being a happy, healthy, and active kid. My daughters review of him was, "He helped me walk again!" Needless to say, my family and I trust Dr. Gonzaba whole-heartedly and will continue to see him for all our PT needs.
My teen son is a cyclist who races and trains a good amount. When he developed a persistent knee pain that we were unable to resolve at home, we reached out to Will. We were impressed with Will’s attentive and thorough evaluation, his consideration of his past injuries, and most importantly, my son’s goals to return to racing pain-free. We are very happy with the treatment & home program Will developed for my son. As a physical therapist myself, I respect Will’s experience with athletic issues and his ability to connect with his patients. We will be sending more friends his way!
I was referred to Dr. Will by my trainer. He has been treating me for a low back/hip injury that interferes with my training. I felt like he really takes the time to gather information on the injury and is extremely thorough during all sessions and in prescribing exercises. First round of exercises got me through a few months of training with no pain. I've recently been back and have made a good amount of progression. I have a new set of exercises that I'm hopeful will continue my healing process. I am so glad to have met Will and fully trust that he will get me back to 100%.
After finding out I had severe high ankle sprain I came straight to Olmos Park Physio. First off, making the appointment was a breeze! They understood my situation and took into consideration how I am a very active person. They were able to squeeze me in as soon as they could to get me back to activities as soon as possible. When I came in Dr.Gonzaba evaluated my ankle. He gave me some exercises to help speed up my recovery process and increase my range on motion! I am super grateful to have come across such an amazing team! Thank you Olmos Park Physio!
I highly recommend Dr. Gonzaba! I came in with knee and hip pain from running 3x a week. Dr. Gonzaba helped me by using deep tissue massage and showing me mobility movements I could continue on my own at home. I saw tremendous results after just the first two sessions and continued to improve over the course of my treatment. The pain is completely gone and my mile time improved by 30 seconds. After completing my sessions, I now feel confident in continuing his recommendations on my own, avoiding injury, and improving my running.
Dr. Will is one of the most important people in allowing me to do the things I enjoy doing pain free! Other than being outstanding in his protocols and exercise prescriptions, Dr. Will's greatest asset is that he genuinely cares for his patients. I've had experience with several PT's and clinicians and he's the person I send everyone to! In addition to offering a clean and professional facility, he's taken the utmost precautions and care in instituting Covid-19 protocols. I referred my mom to see him.
Excited to share that Dr. Will solved my low back & hamstring pain by fitting me properly on my triathlon bike & assessing my ankle flexibility. I have been training for a triathlon race and spending a lot of time in the aero position on the bike but experiencing a lot of discomfort after long rides. Dr. Will made changes to my saddle position & gave me ankle mobility exercises which completely resolved my pain! I am so grateful for his expertise & highly recommend his services.
Will is great!! He is very patient, knowledgeable, and he always finds the way to help in the best way possible. I arrived with several concerns, but my main issue was my knees, and after a couple of sessions of coming in and doing my exercises at home, I felt so much better. There’s been a couple of exercises that have been challenging, but Will is great at tailoring any exercise to my needs. My experience with Olmos Park Physio has been great, and I definitely recommend it!!
Will was very friendly, accommodating, informed and explained his process and what he was looking for. Went in for a bike got and run analysis at end of day, very thorough and never felt like I was being pressed for time, if anything I felt bad for keeping him late. OPP Identified opportunities for more efficient run, on the spot training drills and mental queues for future training. Definitely recommend and will seek assistance with Olmos Park Physio in the future
Mr. Gonzaba provided a comprehensive approach to my rehab recovery. I specifically was dealing with left hip issues. He did a detailed physical exam assessment of me on my first visit. We went over various exercises and stretches. He showed me each one to do and how to perform them correctly. Between each session, he provided a detailed therapy plan that I could do myself. I have noticed a great deal of improvement since going to him. Would recommend to anyone.
I came to Will for a second opinion of glute med tendonitis which he confirmed. He built a strength program for my running rehab, then reviewed, revised, and progressed the exercises as we went along. Will is inquisitive, patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. He had laser focus on my words, form, and feedback. When my sessions ended, he gave me a plan so I could continue my progress. There is so much value in the one-on-one style of his practice. Thanks, Will!
I saw Dr Gonzaba 5 times over 5 weeks due to knee sprain. He was very thorough with his initial, and follow up assessments. He is kind, inquisitive and knowledgeable. His treatment and exercise recommendations led to a speedy recovery with long lasting reduction in pain with an increase in range of motion and load-bearing ability. I recommend Dr Gonzaba to anyone who is willing to work toward a non-pill based, permanent resolution to muscle and joint pain.
Olmos park physio was able to schedule me for a fit while I was in town. They were able to help me out with the narrow window I had in my schedule. Jason was super professional and really listed to what I was feeling. He was able to fit me in a way that I’m very comfortable on the bike while also feeling like I’m in an aggressive position to go fast. Riding after the fit has been super fun since I don’t have any uncomfortable touch points or achy joints!
The team here at Olmos Park Physio are top notch. They’re patient, knowledgeable and show a high caliber of motivation to help clients (including myself) improve in areas we’re seeking assistance in. I left after my run analysis appointment with a greater understanding of the areas I needed improvement in and discovered imbalances I wasn’t even aware of that were game changing leading into my future workouts. Big thanks to everyone at Olmos Park Physio!
I am 100%+ satisfied with my experience at Olmos Park Physio. Will took the time to do a thorough assessment, correctly diagnosed my knee issue and crafted a four-week rehab plan, which worked perfectly! I'm back in the exercise game and couldn't be happier. I chose Will because of his experience and knowledge with athletes and I am delighted with the wisdom of that choice. Anytime I have an issue in the future, Olmos Park will be my first call.
The folks at OPP are so intelligent and incredibly nice. I’ve been cycling for years and had a fit done about 8 years ago in another city. Since then I’ve gotten some new bikes and my fit hasn’t quite right. I did every version of tweaking things and I couldn’t settle into something perfect. Bike fitting is a game of millimeters and Will’s attention to detail is unmatched. Go get comfortable on your bike so you can keep shredding.
I was consistently having trouble with pain in my lower back when cycling. Will not only did a great fit on my bike he took the time to review my biomechanics off the bike. With his background in cycling he was also able to give me form tips and in combination with the fit it resolved my back issue! If you’re looking for a real bike fitter to help address your issues Will is an amazing resource to help you on your journey.
I went in to get my bike fitted and I couldn't be happier! I recently got into cycling and thought lower back pain after riding was simply part of the experience, but Will proved me wrong. He was very knowledgeable and provided me with great feedback that immediately made my rides more comfortable and efficient. Staff was also very friendly. My bike and I had a great experience! Will be going back soon for a run analysis.
Will is a fellow cyclist with a novel approach to physiotherapy: he listens, observes, measures and treats. We’ve spent the last six weeks working through a tight hip that has plagued me for years and I’m starting to see progress. This issue didn’t happen overnight, so I don’t expect for it to resolve overnight, but Will has given me a program that I believe I can stick with for the long term. Couldn’t recommend more!
Grateful Mama! Dr. Gonzaba treated my soccer loving son for a hip injury. Dr. Gonzaba was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. The one on one attention my son received was exceptional.. The location was very convenient and Dr. Gonzaba worked with my son’s schedule so he didn’t miss any part of his school day. My son is back on the field and has learned techniques to keep his hip healthy. 5 stars from our family!
Dr. Gonzaba fully understood my condition after a in-clinic evaluation exam. Rx'd strength-work floor exercises. my patient compliance was excellent and the results were on target. Athlete to athlete was key in treatment and prescribed therapy. I've reached my short term goals in fitness and injury prevention thanks to his guidance. Communication from therapist to patient was clear for this septuagenarian patient.
Reflecting on my recent support from Will at Olmos Park Physio and I am very grateful for the expertise and attention he provided. After a year long hiatus from long distance running due to pain in my shins and calves, Will's determination to root cause my pain and provide solution-oriented results had me back on my feet in no time! High praise for Will and the Team at Olmos Park Physio!
I’ve seen Will twice now for bike fits. He is extremely knowledgeable. He takes his time to hear your concerns and explains what he’s doing for the fit and why it’s important. I appreciate the extra time he took to adjust my cleats and walk me through what to look for when I change them out. So many members of the cycling community use him and I will continue to recommend him as well!
I was referred to Olmos Park Physio after a lingering shoulder injury. Dr. Will Gonzaba immediately made me feel comfortable and gave me hope that I could improve. His in depth knowledge and treatment is beyond compare! I am now confidently resuming my strength training. I am so excited to be back on track and forever grateful for all the expert care from Olmos Park Physio!
Will is great -- realistic, understanding, and patient. While most physical therapists simply work to improve range of motion, Olmos Park Physio is working to improve the entire problem. They have worked with my crazy schedule and my limited budget to get me back to the things I enjoy doing. I'm still trying to recover, but I feel so motivated when I leave!
Great help with my leg and hip pain. I am still in process working on a problem I have had for years. Dr. Will is very professional and has a great bedside manner. Nice quiet office and great location. Home exercises are emailed to me which gives me incentive to do them and keep up. I would highly recommend Dr. Will Gonzaba for help with PT needs.
Will Gonzaba is the man! I approached Will early this year as I was prepping for my first 50k trail run. I wanted to take my training more serious so I signed up for a run analysis and run strength program. Not only did my running form and overall strength improve but Will was informative and helped me learn how to be a better runner. Thanks Will!
I have been coming to see Dr. Will Gonzaba for a while now and absolutely love him! I am currently recovering from a meniscus repair and he has been EXTREMELY patient and helpful with my recovery process. He is also very encouraging and flexible with my busy work schedule. I highly recommend Will for any of your physical therapy needs!!!
Will is THE BEST!! He truly listens, explains in detail, answers questions and honestly cares about helping you recover. I brought two of my bikes to Dr. Gonzaba for fitting. He asked me about my training, goals, and was incredibly knowledgeable. Technology can't completely replace expert knowledge and I walked out feeling much more comfortable on my bikes. Would highly recommend Dr. Gonzaba if you are having problems cycling!
Dr. Gonzaba is a serious cyclist and runner and knows first hand the needs of those of us who regularly ride/run. I've gone to him frequently over the years to address aches and pains that pop up in the course of training, and we've been able to jump on issues quickly before they become bigger problems.
I have been going to see Will for a few months now for low back/hip mobility. I hurt my back a few years ago and want to make sure my back stays strong and prevent another injury. Will has been super friendly and knowledgeable offering great tips. I'm thankful to find a great physical therapist.
