I emailed this store twice to ask about florals for my wedding. No one felt the need to email me back so I decided to enter the store one day to see if I could chat with someone. I explained my situation and was responded to with a firm 'it's mother's day week' despite the fact that my first email was in December. The person working reluctantly took down my information, and said that someone would respond to my email or call me back, or that I could call or email to follow up (a 3rd time). No one has since contacted me via email or phone. In the end of her taking down my information, i shared a flower that i really wanted in my bouquet and she immediately responded with a curt 'i'm not making any promises'. She did not smile once, she did not congratulate me on my wedding or for choosing them, and after that interaction I immediately called somewhere else, where they were very excited to celebrate my wedding with me. Will not be going back, which is unfortunate, as I have been a regular customer in the past.

It was my parents' 55th anniversary, pandemic in full swing and I'm in another province, fretting over how I'm going to make this a memorable occasion despite them having to spend it alone. I had no choice but to trust whomever I engage to hit all the notes and make this day spectacular. And then I forgot the flowers (gasp). I had never heard of Oak & Lily but they were just a few blocks away and their website looked amazing so, with a simple request and putting my trust entirely in their designer, I placed an order just in time for same-day delivery. Wow. Just WOW. Despite the rush (my bad), and where another shop might have just grabbed whatever was on hand, they put together an absolutely beautiful arrangement. Words cannot express my gratitude. This is the kind of client care you want when everything is riding on the event being perfect. Thank you, Oak & Lily!

OAK&LILY is a little pricier, but absolutely worth it for special occasions. I made an international order with specific flower requests and they were able to order in the ones I wanted, arrange a beautiful bouquet, and even accent my choices with local blooms. Painless to order and great execution -- highly recommend! UPDATE 4/6/18 I decided to try out their smallest bouquet size this time and their staff members were helpful and friendly, per usual. I was worried that their lowest tier would look thinner or lackluster after getting their medium size, but I was quite wrong. The bouquet that was delivered was EXCELLENT, both in quality and arrangement. The difference between flowers from here versus cheaper, grocery flowers (which have their place) is astounding. They charge more than other places, for sure, but these are professionals worth their salt. ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆

We hired Oak and Lily for our wedding and I was so so happy with the way the flowers turned out. Tatiana met with me for an initial consultation and then a month before the wedding to finalize details. She communicated really well throughout the whole process answering all of my questions in between meetings and updating things as we went along. I wanted a garden party look and Oak and Lily delivered! The flowers were exactly what I dreamed of and they worked with my budget to create the look I was looking for. I also rented all of the vases and candles from Oak and Lily which was super helpful. I wanted a lot of candles and that is exactly what I got. The bouquets were gorgeous, they looked natural yet formal. Their storefront shop is also super cute and made me want to buy something every time I came in for a visit.

This florist looks very inviting from the outside, however, I was out of town recently and I realized in a panic that I had forgotten to send my dear friend flowers for her birthday. It was Friday at 4:30. I called Oak & Lily because it was very close to where I needed the flowers delivered. Despite me offering to pay double the delivery fee, the florist said it was too late in the day to help me. I explained that I was in a predicament and asked if they could make an exception to their delivery cut off time. They could not. Another florist - on Academy road - helped me out and all ended well. In this competitive market, good to exceptional customer service is a must.

Called to set up a consultation and ask what info I needed, instead got asked questions that I didn’t yet have answers to. Lady I spoke to asked all the questions right off the bat, the more questions she asked, and I didn’t have the answers for, she became condescending and unhappily said she’d call me the following Monday between 11am and 2pm and hoped that I had answers and whatnot for her. Definitely let me know, without specifically letting me know, that I wasted her time. I figured I didn’t care about her feelings and still wanted to try to obtain flowers, anyway she didn’t call. Poor customer service.

I purchased a bouquet from Oak and Lily recently as a gift and it was very lovely. Unfortunately, after a couple days there was an issue with the bouquet, so I reached out to them and after a couple exchanges via email, they offered me a brand new bouquet. Very accommodating of them and the new bouquet is just as lovely! I have always loved this place and this just gives me another reason to keep coming back. Very professional and excellent customer service!

I worked with Oak and Lily for my small wedding this August, and could not have made a better decision. Jessica in particular was a wonderful patient guide through the whole process for me. She really took the time to talk with me to figure out the vision and what details were important to me, and from there she took it away! Everything went so beautifully and smoothly on the day- easily my easiest, most stress free vender to work with!

Oak & Lily did my wedding flowers this past weekend and I couldn't have been happier! I went to go check out the place, it looked super cute but turns out a single rose was for $5, meaning 4 roses were $20 and you could get a whole bouquet of flowers for $20 at Safeway. Other than the prices, its a pretty good place. Definitely coming when I have a bit more money.

Nice floral shop with a very cool vibe. I didn’t love the flower selection when I went but would give it another try! Service was good and loved the candles/cards they had! Would like to try one of their workshops!

An excellent place to go for flowers and Tatiana is one of the best florists. A lot of florists create typical bouquets but hers have their own unique look - using greenery to really make the colours pop.
