I have never......NEVER......had such a great experience with service technicians of any sort, any where. We had an electrical issue that manifested itself 19 years after we had our house built. We tried calling all the repair services we had seen advertised on television, and a few that were local to our community. None of them could commit to getting to us that day, or even the next. Some even required an exorbitant (to me, at least......I call $199.00 exorbitant) trip fee......WHICH WAS IN ADDITION TO any repairs that were to be made--------HARD PASS!! Meanwhile, we are 100% without electricity to a major part of our house. I started a Google search and found Next Door. The young man with whom I spoke at Next Door was extremely polite and professional, and seemed to really care about our situation. We set up an appointment with Next Door for the next day. The repair team (Sal & Tae) that was assigned our repair called the next morning and told me they would be able to get to the house earlier than expected, and could be there within the hour if that would be okay.........(DEFINITELY!!!) UPON their arrival I explained to them what had happened and the area(s) affected. They immediately told me they knew what the problem was, and where it started. After a very thorough inspection, they had not only repaired the problem, but also checked every single outlet and switch in the affected areas to make sure there was no other damage done. Then they swept up and cleaned up and we were done. I can not recommend Next Door Electrical strongly enough. They are without equal, as darxas I am concerned. They have in me, a customer for life!

I am very satisfied and will be using NextDoor Electric for any future electrical work. I needed an EV charger professionally installed, and this place was in the neighborhood. I never used NextDoor Electric before, but after reading all the reviews I decided to give them a chance. The reviews don't lie, NextDoor Electric is excellent. They worked with me to set an appointment that worked best for my schedule and answered any questions I had prior to the appointment. On appointment day, they were able to get me a very reasonable quote and perform the work all within the stated appointment window. The quote came in lower than I expected, and much lower than the "recommended" installers from the EV manufacturer themselves. On top of that, NextDoor Electric warranties all of their work, making them a great value. One thing I will note is that EV chargers are still relatively new, and each manufacturer has their own special installation instructions. Please don't expect NextDoor (or any electrician) to be product experts for every charger out there, there will be some on-the-job learning and double-checking to make sure the install is done correctly. I won't knock NextDoor Electric on this detail because its new for everyone. However, I saw Tae (the installer) take several pictures and notes to send back to their office that I hope will be used for future jobs. Finally, ask for Tae, he's a good guy and very friendly. Very thorough with his work, and cleaned up after the job was done.

I have nothing but high praises for Sal. I am blown away as to how incredible him & his partner Andres just fixed up our home in no time. We had half our house shorted and lost power for more than a week. First I had someone recommended from family that came out & couldn’t figure out the problem. Then I had John Moore come out and all they did was upsell. JM is extremely expensive and after trying to upsell, they told me it may or may not fix the problem. They were very disappointing because they scared me to death the way they presented the issues. I am extremely disappointed with that company. I found Next Door Electric on Google seeing that they have five star reviews. It’s was a little hard to believe anyone would have a perfect “five stars”. But once you meet Sal, you realize exactly why. Their prices are reasonable, they are genuine people who care about their customers. This is a rare trait to find in this line of work. Sal came out and fixed the problem that day! I’m beyond happy and beyond grateful that I found Sal through NextDoor electric. They will do all of our future work! :)

Nextdoor Electric gets a Big High Five from me!! They were Awesome! Working on a re-do, I needed pretty prompt attention initially in switching out several old outlets (old 2-prong outlets) and breaker box assessment before plumber would complete his portion. Contacted several Electricians that I had previously used (1 of 4 responded and he wasn't available) so in a moment of meltdown mode I began searching the internet. Nextdoor had good reviews from more than just a handful of folks so I took a leap of faith and completed the 'contact us' portion on their site and low and behold they returned my call within the hour and Sal came by shortly after lunch. He assessed the situation, provided a very fair and reasonable quote (slightly less than I anticipated) and returned the following morning to do the job. Sal and team are the absolute best!!! The professionalism and responsive time was like no other! This was not an easy task, it was FULL WIRING AND TRACKED LINES / UNDERGROUND DROP! Sal walked the neighborhood to find the exact transformer (Centerpoint misinformed me) and found the transformer closest to my home! Within 24 hours of me contacting him, he had a full crew outside digging and ready to work! The guys NEVER stopped working, my tenant had been with limited power for almost a week! My experience with Nextdoor Electric was fantastic! I found the great reviews online and messaged them. Within a few minutes they messaged me back and we setup an appointment for the next day. Technician Andres Haro showed up on time and got to work diagnosing a issue with my washer tripping the breaker every time it went in to a spin cycle. Andres replaced the breaker with a new style that is less sensitive to the power draw and now my washer is running flawlessly. While troubleshooting we also discussed other random breaker trip issues I was having and he recommended installing a whole home surge protector to prevent this and protect my expensive home and AV equipment. I agreed and they were able to get the parts and install it the same day. Andres and his partner were polite, professional and knowledgeable. Really appreciate the service from Nextdoor Electric I will use them again in the future.

So glad I went with Nextdoor Electric. I needed some outlets installed in a room without any. I got quotes from 3 different companies and they were the best priced. They were also the most thorough, going up into the attic to inspect while doing the quote, the only company that did. Because of that they got an accurate picture and were able to easily install the switches on the wall that one company said would be too hard to do and the other wanting to charge double the price. The electricians were very prompt and respectful. Andres and Sal got the job done quickly and it turned out great. It's always a bit scary trying to find good craftsmen that won't overcharge and do a good job. I'm glad I really lucked out this time. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I am a Process Safety Engineer and have worked with a lot of electricians in the field. Sal at NextDoor Electric was great: experienced and patient with all of my questions. I selected this firm after reviewing 7 other firms that were actually located closer to my house. The other firms, both large and small, just had too many negative reviews on Yelp, BBB, Homeadvisor, and Expertise. Sal arrived promptly as promised, calling ahead to let me know he would be on time. He quickly retrofitted an old 48-inch fluorescent light to use LED T8 bulbs, eliminating the need for a ballast. The estimate originally given to me by phone was the firm price, which included a 3-year warranty on work. I would definitely recommend this firm and plan to use them again myself.

Well, let me start by saying, these guys were on time and on schedule. They were very attentive and patient to me explaining the issue. They were upfront on the pricing of the diagnosis and made great recommendations. Once the problem was identified, they scheduled to come back the next morning(it was already late in the day) in order to run a new wire for an existing circuit which had to go underground to avoid busting up sheetrock and other things since the circuit was on the first floor. Our experience with Next Door Electric was phenomenal! Tae was able to diagnose our outlet and breaker problem with exact details on how it should be fixed. Within the next appointment Tae was able to set up the new breaker in less than 30 minutes! The same week we had an unexpected short circuit with our electric stove top and they were able to send out Sal who helped fix the issue with no service charge because we had done business with them in the same week! Nextdoor Electric is a very professional, courteous, company which employs sagacious and adroit electricians. We checked online and decided to call Next Door because of the great reviews. Tae came to our home and gave us a quote on installing 2 recessed lights w/2 separate switches. They were able to install both on the same day that we got our quote. Sal came over to help out. They got the job done quickly & also cleaned up the job site. The guys were very friendly and knowledgeable concerning the questions that we had. The price was reasonable for all the work that had to be done w/running wires, installing lights & etc. We would definitely use this company again for any future electrical projects.

We just had Next Door Electric out here last week to add outlets to a room and I LOVED them. Out of 3 quotes they were on the lower end but also seemed to know more of what they were doing. Great experience with Salat of NextDoor Electric when he came out after usual working hours to address an issue with exterior lighting at my home. Polite, clean (wore shoes covers), and worked efficiently. Went above and beyond by also noticing and changing a bulb that I couldn’t reach. After hearing so many horror stories about prices for electrician services, I was quite pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the charge was. I just can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Salat and will definitely call on him again should the need arise!

Andre was prompt, efficient and professional. He explained what he was doing and why, he was very reassuring about priorities and safety. He stayed longer after the repair to check which circuit was overloading and why, and was able to narrow it down to a space heater that was pulling too many amps, so this won’t happen again, and won’t destroy any wall plugs. He was able to give me a quote to redo the whole thing but there was absolutely no hard sell or scare tactics. I’ve been looking for a company to be our go-to; and I’ve definitely found it.

Five star recommendation for Nextdoor Electric. I had a light fixture and dimmer switch installed in my kitchen. Their estimate was the much lower than the other estimates and very fair. Tae gave me the estimate and did the install that same day. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and did excellent work. I have been searching for an electrician that is trustworthy for awhile and I have finally found them with Nextdoor Electric.

I think they were probably kind of expensive for what I needed, but I didn't really have time to get a bunch of estimates. I just wanted my kitchen light working. The repair guy was on time and nice enough(although they did miss an appointment during the week, they gave me a discount for that). All in all, they were a bit pricey, but they got the job done well and quick. I would probably use them again.

They did a great job and were friendly. They got to the source of the problem that other companies missed. They repaired my outdoors master switch. My electricity would go off and on for quite some time. Sometimes at 3 or 4 in the morning. I more than likely will need the indoor switch panel redone in the future and they will be the first I call.
