Um museu que representa a história de atuação da Força Expedicionária Brasileira e é motivo de orgulho para o povo paranaense pois possui o maior acervo de ítens referentes a atuação do Brasil na II Guerra Mundial. Possui uma biblioteca magnífica com amplas possibilidades de pesquisa para historiadores e interessados na História da FEB. O acervo tem objetos inéditos desde medalhas, armamentos, veículos, maquetes, tudo devidamente catalogado e registrado em dois idiomas. Observa-se o cuidado em todos os detalhes na preservação da História, na conservação dos espaços e o interesse em transmitir o conhecimento para os alunos das inúmeras escolas que visitam o museu, além da profícua administração que zela pelos cuidados das peças históricas além do cuidado permanente do edifício que abriga este fabuloso museu. Não esperava encontrar esse museu em Curitiba. Quando pesquisei sobre a cidade, pouco vi falar sobre ele e o descobri ao acaso. Ele é bem interessante, pois explora bastante a participação do Brasil na Segunda Guerra Mundial. Gostei muito, pois além da luta em si, a exposição explora o cotidiano dos soldados, a alimentação, cuidados médicos etc. Como crítica, entendo que poderiam explorar mais a participação dos russos na Guerra. Os relatos demonstram a participação dos EUA no combate aos alemães e japoneses, mas não aprofundam a luta dos soviéticos para libertar o leste europeu e a Manchúria.

The museum is a great opportunity to learn about a part of the history of Brazil during the Second World War. Besides the great torpedo, tank and airplane at the entrance, it is full of photographs, weapons, ammunition, medals and archives relating to the "Força Expedicionária Brasileira" (the Brazilian Expeditionary Force) that participated in the Allied Italian Campaign. The entrance is free of charge and they are open every day of the week but Monday, in which they close for maintenance. I recommend it!

A great experience that is easily accessible to people both without much knowledge of WW2 and those who are history buffs. The museum has most placards in English and Portuguese. There are some placards that are only in Portuguese but I think they are trying to improve this. The museum highlights not only Brazil's involvement in the war but gives a nice summary of WWII overall. Not large but if you have time check it out, there is something there for everyone

Very nice museum that tells of Brazil’s contributions and sacrifices for the Allied cause in World War II. There are sections highlighting the service of the Brazilian Army, Air Force and Navy. Outside includes static displays of a P-47 Thunderbolt and a M-3 Stuart tank. Most of the information placards are also in English. It is not a huge museum that will take hours to visit, but it is very worthwhile and does a great job of covering the WW II story.

Vale muito a pena visitar! Conhecer mais sobre a história da FEB e das guerras com uma exposição riquíssima de itens! Reconhecer e celebrar nossa cultura e história vale a pena demais nesse museu! Com certeza quero voltar para ler com mais tempo os murais expostos contando sobre as histórias de missões e combatentes.

Museu fantástico. Possui itens da época da segunda guerra, e conta de forma detalhada todo o progresso do Brasil no conflito de forma cronológica e precisa. Imperdível para quem gosta de história, e principalmente entender como foi a participação do país na guerra.

Este museu, como tantos outros, tem lembranças da 2°guerra mundial, uma homenagem aos nossos Pracinhas que foram defender nosso povo, alguns não tiveram a sorte de voltar com vida, mas fica a lembrança e a eterna gratidão a estes que deixaram famílias, filhos para defender a Pátria.

Amamos o museu! Completo, imersivo e gratuito. Como muitos pontos em Curitiba, é um verdadeiro incentivo à cultura. Não tem desculpa pra não conhecer o museu. É um dos melhores da cidade!

Entrance-free small museum with a few relics from WW2 and Brazilian participation in the conflict. Descriptions in Portuguese & English. Don’t expect a great museum structure but a small building taken care as best as possible by the army, with low maintenance budget.

A place that takes us back to the past, interesting to see the memories of a war but at the same time sad. However, this part of our history is worth knowing. Everything very organized and explanatory. More

Nice place to learn better about soldiers who sacrifice their lives to help America. There are canion, weapons and any more instruments used on combat field. Worth to visit and it is free.
