Super unwelcoming to new guests. Completely rude and disrespectful. How do you expect newcomers to experience and learn about the religion and culture when you’re not opened to new possibilities. I understand about customs and norms HOWEVER YOUR TEMPLE IS LOCATED IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE!!! it is completely normal for westerners to NOT KNOW THE CUSTOMS AND NORMS. We do not come in disrespect but in curiousity and love!!! Ive been to many temples where the devotees and people in the temple do not shame on the guests but rather teach them than bash and shame on them!!!

Montreal murugan temple is special. Lord Murugan Valli and Deivanai and appan Pillayar Perumal temple Lord Shiva thiruchitrambal Amma Kamachi. Trust Maintaing awesome every year car festival in summer begining June July August month parking available. Basement is functional hall and winter jacket and shoes place areas. Saturday Pongal and rice avaliable. Cark parking available Pooja $2 and $5 for donation and archanai.every week i visited this murugan temple. When I was in Montreal. I strongly recommend it

Definitely an interesting place to visit and sit down calmly and admire all the colourful statues of dietys. Food served on occasions has to be improved and they should stop serving more plastic plates and cups. Everyone, no matter what religion race or culture are welcomed with warmth and open heart. Dont get offended if the priests were impolite, thats how they speak normally.

The moment you enter the temple, You feel like you are in south India. Built with same look and feel like as South Indian temple. (Havent been to North Indian temples, so I am being more specific). Peacefull. Devotional. Nice place and Neatly maintained. Must visit if you live in Montreal and looking for a Hindu temple.

I usually go when there’s events and it’s pretty spiritual if you ask me! Well, I went to Amman Kovil as well for the same reason and same feeling! The only con I’ve with is the washrooms! I went recently and it was wet all over! Other than that, I pray to Amman mostly so spiritual! It’s calm as well!

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Murugan Temple and I must say it was a truly divine experience. The atmosphere inside was incredibly serene, creating the perfect environment for prayer and reflection.I was also impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the temple.

This is a temple constructed totally in an indian style of Gopuram( developed by cholas)..And you have a very beautiful atmosphere all arround. All the indian festivals, especially south indian festivals are celebrated here....A very good place to have a visit.

Felt like visiting a temple in hometown. Ambience was good. Murugan and durga Amman deity were decorated beautifully. I recommend everyone visiting Montreal to visit this place. Especially Tamil people. Not a place to miss. Felt like a home far away from home.

Very beautiful temple. Spacious and very nicely constructed. Multiple deities are present. Must visit for every Hindu. It is right in front of the bus stop. Bus frequency is every 25min.

Beautiful Temple with great priests that welcome all cultures and perform very good pujas. I have Been going there since it was built. Great temple where you feel the peace around you.

The place to keep the sandals and jackets are at downstairs which is little tough to handle during winter for elderly people. The priest was also lil harsh in conveying things.
