The old man there is incredibly rude! I spent tops 3 minutes there having a little look at the selections before I bought a six-pack of beer and a bottle of wine, which caused him to berate me for "taking such a long time" and not buying anything more expensive. He then proceeded to mimic me looking around in a very mocking fashion. He was insulting me throughout the whole exchange with such anger. The man is in the wrong occupation when he gets so annoyed to have customers give him business. Never going there again

This is what liquor retail was like before Woolworths (BWS, Dans) & Coles (1st, Liquorland) set out to destroy the market! Friendly and helpful people in both stores (Darlinghurst Rd & Victoria St), good prices, a great range, & its always a pleasure to shop here. These folks are infinitely better (and much cheaper) than the BWS & Liquorland stores nearby. Highly recommended.

a sydney icon. This was my local bottle shop when i lived in the X and Mr Liquor himself memorised my order and got the drinks out as soon as i walked in the door which was flattering for some reason even tho i was probably drinking too much at the time but thats nobody's buisness.

Warning!! This business needs a boycott. Racist old man with offensive and rude nature. Lacks communication and interpersonal skills. Looking at Google reviews he clearly hates any international face. I went BWS where they understood how to take my money.

Refused me 1 can of alcohol as i had " too much to drink" when i hadnt even had a singke drink. The old man who works there is very rude I will never come back. Avoid this place

Old man is prejudice against French people and tells them to piss of when they play with credit card. Highly advised to not give business to this establishment.

Good in value and I was too young to be abuse with I,d even though I'm over 31yr old but complied but apart from that it's very good for value

Hours opened differed to info on this site and sign on front door. To be fair it was raining so maybe closed early but left me high and dry
