The only reason im giving this school 1 star is because it doesnt allow me to go any lower. This school is by far the worst ran school that i have ever seen. My daughter has been here since kindergarten and is now in the 2nd grade. They do not do anything about bullies, my daughter has been bullied, since day 1. They dont care to pay attention to it either..since she first began, i have had to make multiple calls and trips to the office about how my child is treated by the other students and ignored by staff. Ive even met with the principle and there has been multiple promises and not one of them are being fulfilled. When my kid tells a teacher whats going on, all they do is tell her to avoid the kids that are bullying her then go on and dismiss her. They take absolutely no action to what is going on, my kid has been picked on, consistently told that shes too "white" to go to this school , physically shoved down to the ground, at one point hit by an older boy, and she has had multiple things stolen from her. When she has been hurt by the other kids, they refuse to even give her anything like childrens Tylenol to ease the pain until i get there from work out in Draper. Its so exhausting as a parent to have to keep worrying about sending their kid to a place where there is no care how the kids treat eachother and to see your kid not wanting to go to school at such an early age not even because she thinks its boring but because she doesnt feel safe and secure there. The only reason she is even still here is because we are currently waiting for her to be accepted into another school.

This school is Horrible.. I moved to Salt Lake City this summer August of 2016. Enrolled my kids to this school and a week into the school year started my 2nd grader son was being bullied by a 5th grader boy.. Not only did we deal with bullies but my son contracted Lice.. I notified the school and treated my kids. Not to mention the hell I went thru treating my 3kids as having 2 girls with beautiful long hair. My son well that was a shaved easy step... It was a nightmare!!!! Well with that being said 3 weeks later My 3rd grader daughter contracted Lice... That's right the night mare began all over again chopping off hair, washing blankets etc!!! Obviously the parents in this school do not take the right actions like they should, 3 weeks apart and my kids getting reinfected is ridicioulous!!!! I am the type of mother that will leave everything and be checking my children's heads every 30minutes and not stoping until everybody is clear.. luckily that week was my children's last week in that school due to Moving out of state and I did not think twice of cutting their week shorter. Even if we didn't have to Move I wouldn't think twice of switching my kids to a different school. Even though the Teachers are excellent Mountain View was not the best experience for us..

I volunteered here in bbbs. They put a lot of afford to improve themselves. But I felt sometimes they don't pay attention what kids actually need.
