This used to be an absolutely beautiful cemetery with gorgeous gardens and well kept lawns when I first buried my Dad 3 years ago. Sadly, this place is now a dump to be honest and I regret choosing this cemetery. The lawns are never mowed - only around the perimeter with grass surrounding the monuments knee high in some areas and rubbish and trash everywhere. I have actually taken to mowing the grass myself to keep it looking good which is despicable! If you ring the office, they never answer their phone or call you back and as for answering emails - NEVER! If you actually bother to go to the office, the door is always or usually locked with a sign on the door. New managers are needed desperately to resettle this place to its former glory and our loved ones who are buried here the resting place they deserve. Brisbane City Council should be ashamed of this place to be honest!

I would love to send all my love and appreciation to the staff at Mt Gravatt Cemetery, especially Sonya and Tim! My grandmother has tried in the past to organise a plaque for her father however due to us living in another state it has been a complicated process. I emailed the cemetery late last year and they went above and beyond to help us, even including a badge to acknowledge his time spent in the army! My grandmother was able to visit last month and she had the pleasure of meeting Sonya face to face which she was so happy about! It was a beautiful moment for her and I could not have asked for anything better. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for helping me make my 70 year old grandmothers wish for her father come true, we appreciate you guys so much ❤️

This is the dead center of the suburb and is so popular that people are dieing to get into the place. But seriously folks it's a really lovely setting and amazingly it still has room within it's boundries. It is surrounded by natural Bush and of course the old QE11 complex. If major roads wernt so close it would be very peaceful.

Peaceful, beautifully maintained, helpful staff, gentle space, I enjoyed going there to see my Grandparents and organise for my gorgeous Mum sometime down the track (in a million years). They have done a great job keeping the grounds immaculate with some very lovely areas to relax and enjoy nature.

Losing a baby is never easy but when you get to the grave we find out the hole was dug for an adult burial and not a baby and there is water in the grave so we couldn't complete Caleb's farewell! Could have done much better in the circumstances! Devastating!!!

Fantastic cemetery! God bless all of the souls who have passed on from their place of rest here. Let's hope that the caretakers keep up the good work and maintain the grounds out of respect for the deceased. By the way, there's no harm

The staff are awesome. I've found everyone to be pleasant and so helpful. It's a shame that some visitors become thieves. I have to frequently replace ornaments at my family's grave site, as our mementoes go missing …

Such beautiful flowers at Lawn 22. Had the most amazing experience to watch several brown butterflies visit my fathers Resting place. Thanks to the Brisbane City Council Cemetry staff for the great work. God Bless.

Completely disorganised oreration. If you want this special day not ruined, use another mob. Take nothing at face value, whatever they say will be forgotten the moment you walk out the door.

WARNING!! DO NOT, use Paul Taylor from 'beta memorial's' to do your headstone or foundation. After dealing with this man, he should never be allowed to operate on or at any cemetery.

Your Bloody worker in a White Ute Drives Over the Grass where all the Body’s are Burried. Absolute disgrace to the Family’s who have there loved ones Buried There.

Clean,quiet and very well kept place. May God rest everyone's soul in peace who are buried here. Getting an opportunity to end up here seems a blessing.

Went to visit Dad prior to Australian Father's Day next Sunday 3rd September. A nice peaceful place under some gum trees .
