As a family we would like to sincerely thank Andrew, Virginia and staff at Mornington Peninsula Funerals who supported us so well with the sad passing of our dear mother. We could not recommend MPF more highly who we chose firstly, because they were an independent, small family owned business, but right from the first call with Andrew, were responsive, empathic, respectful and guided us at a time that was extremely difficult and sad for our family. Having been involved with a few funerals, MPF was by far the easiest, most sensitive and empathic to work with. The advantages of selecting a small, independent funeral director are immense. Knowing that Mum was in the next room at MPF and not at a another location, as often happens with larger businesses, was very comforting. Their service is personalised and affordable. The funeral was held at the Safety Beach Sailing Club overlooking the water and we cannot think of a more peaceful and suitable spot to farewell our dear Mother. The expert attention to the photographs and music was extraordinary. The recommendation of having Andy as our celebrant for Mum's service was a perfect fit for our family. Andy was the right balance of sensitivity, respect and humour that set the tone for the morning. Thank you again for the wonderful work you do at MPF. Maureen, Michael and Marian

I would like to thank Andrew, Julie and their team at Mornington Peninsula Funerals for making such a difficult and emotional time in our lives easier. They were very kind, calming, empathetic and compassionate when they learned of the sudden and tragic passing of our son Jack. They took the time to listen and get a feel for what we needed and wanted for his service and celebration of his life. They were literally available any time of any day which was a huge help, at such a critical time. We feel were gifted Leonie, Jacks Celebrant, who was outstanding. Many people came to us commenting on how wonderfully kind and amazing Leonie was. She really tuned into what Jack was all about which just made the day unique and special. Can’t recommend MP Funerals high enough. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sadly I recently lost my dear mother, Irma. From the very first moment that we came to MP Funerals in McCrae and met Julie and Andrew we were greeted with such kindness and compassion. I had no idea of which way to turn or what to do but they both heard my thoughts and fears with such a sympathetic ear and very gently led me on the path to doing what I wanted for my beautiful Mum. I had some clear ideas of what I thought Irma's celebration would look like but without their guidance I don't believe that it would have been as successful. The celebration of my mother's life was made richer for the involvement of Julie and Andrew in her final journey and I thank them sincerely for bringing her home safely. Eternally grateful Karin and Frank

Thank you so much to Andrew and Julie for helping us plan precisely the funeral that my family wanted. You were the breath of fresh air our family needed for this ceremony and everything was just perfect. Thanks too for your attention to the small things along they way. And special thanks to Julie for her wonderful support with MC duties. My family reflects on what a smooth and good day it was. As the organiser, I would like to say what a pleasure it has been working with you both. Furthermore the Safety Beach Sailing Club was the ideal location. Thank you for coordinating seamlessly with Dave and the Club.

MPF recently organised my fathers funeral memorial at Blairgowrie yacht club and burial at Sorrento cemetery. It was faultless from beginning to end. We started with a much larger funeral home before changing to MPF and the difference was extraordinary - personal, caring, empathetic and every detail taken care of - I cannot speak highly enough of them - they know the peninsula and how special it is and understand exactly what you are looking for if you are seeking a funeral there - and they are really lovely people - I would not have any hesitation in recommending them .

When my mother passed away, I felt lost. I didn't know where to start when it came to organising a funeral. I had just had twins a weeks prior and I was a mess. Lindsay came out to see me at home and I immediately felt at ease knowing he would be helping me and my family through this difficult time. Lindsay organised my mother's funeral with professionalism and empathy. His attention to detail was exceptional and organised a perfect service. I would highly recommend Lindsay to anyone who wants to give their loved one the funeral they deserve.

Wonderful service was provided by Julie, Andrew and team from MP Funerals. I will always be grateful for the compassionate guidance and support as well as the friendly and flexible approach which met our families needs in co-ordinating a beautiful funeral for our dear Dad. I would highly recommended MP Funerals for a person-centred approach and special care in meeting your funeral needs. This was invaluable to my family as we could show our love and respect by blessing our dad on his final journey of resting in eternal peace. Thank you!

Thank you Julie and Andrew for the utmost care and compassion for both myself and my husband at this sad time of our lives. I can not express enough how happy and grateful I am with the way you made sure Paul's send off was perfect! He was lucky to have had met you before his passing and was extremely comfortable knowing he was going to be in your hands. I could just keep saying thank you over and over! I would highly recommend your service to everyone! Thank you xo

Many thanks to Julie and Andrew of Mornington Peninsula Funerals whose first class attention to detail delivered our family's wishes on the passing of our father. Their response was timely, tasteful, thorough and caring which was much appreciated at a difficult time. Julie kept us informed through the whole process including receipt of the death certificate and cremated remains. We highly recommend Mornington Peninsula Funerals.

Andrew and Julie were very caring and professional which made my Mum's passing so much easier. With the option of the funeral service to be at the Saftey Beach Yacht Club over looking the Bay and one last drive along the beach road before her cremation we couldn't have asked for anything more. I recommend their services to anyone as it's hard to say goodbye but again Andrew and Julie made it feel good. Thank you both so much.

Lindsay conducted my grandfathers funeral four years ago and I couldn't have asked for a more meaningful and well put together service that honoured his life perfectly. Words can't express how thankful our family was to have such an empathetic and understanding man take the stress out of arranging his funeral. I wouldn't hesitate in engaging or recommended his services again.

Our choice of Mornington Peninsula Funerals proved to be a master stroke. From our early morning call asking for their assistance, through to the funeral service for our lovely Ross, Julie and Andrew paid absolute attention to every detail with care and sympathy. It made our grieving more bearable and our family were most grateful to them. A warm thank you Julie and Andrew.
