A gorgeous Rose Garden! Definitely worth a visit especially during the blooming season Nov to early autumn. Possibly half the size of the State Rose Garden in Werribee with just as many rose varieties & fragrances to engage the senses .. but do watch out for the busy bees! Wide paths are easily navigable pushing a pram or wheelchair with a large Rotunda with seating in front as a focal point. The stormy & wet weather that this area has had since spring appears to have wrought some damage to the blooms but there is still plenty to appreciate. Kudos to the volunteers who put in the hard yards to make it blooming beautiful .Pics below on visit last Sun 7 Jan 24. Enough seating scattered around to enjoy the garden at leisure. A slightly raised viewing platform over the whole garden is located at the perimeter right corner opposite entry. Plenty of free parking which is a shared space with Mornington Regional Art Gallery across.

The best rose gardens in Melbourne brought us great memories. Thousands beautiful roses with many birds and a small lake. Very nice volunteer workers working hard to maintain this garden. I live in Melbourne but often drive down to sit inside when weather is good. Very peaceful!

Here in May and although there are quite a few flowers out it certainly is not at its best. Spoke with a friendly gardener who suggested returning Oct/Nor or Feb/Mar to see the roses. Car park us in front of the Gallery. Toilet on site. Free enterance with a donation box.

Absolutely stunning views, the flowers are well maintained and a beautiful flower opportunity. Free entry but donations are needed and appreciated to uphold the gardens beauty.

Just stunning, I don't think I have ever seen as many roses as this before all in the same place. Definitely worth stopping. While we were there it started raining so we went to the art gallery. The staff were really nice.

Look it was alright, I had a nice lunch in the gardens and a stroll through the different varieties. I think Rose enthusiasts would enjoy more, but for general public, it was pretty small and underwhelming.

Nicely maintained and laid out rose garden with over 4000 roses. Many varieties of roses. A must visit for any Rose lover. Entry is free and has ample parking. It’s located within Mornington civic premises.

Very neat and organised. Amazing variety of roses. Some seats in the shade of large trees but even a blanket on the nice lawn for a drink and snack makes a perfect break while walking around.

Nice place for a walk, beautiful collection of roses. Smells nice and colourful. Plants Require some maintenance. Have a nice coffee place just opposite to this park.

Most flowers haven't bloomed (yet). Minimal close access for those that use wheels.... (unless they like rolling on grass). Plenty of parking
