"Came hear from my birthday dinner and drove up from Georgia"
"My food was great! The waitress was nice and did a good job at explaining everything on the menu to someone who never visited the restaurant before"
"Talk about some good food! I would have never even thought about this place if my friend hadn't been in the mood for Peruvian food"
"Used to be great, not anymore"
"Ive been coming to Mily y Lalos since i was a kid, i love the owners and the food its a small business and family owned but the waitress they hired makes me want to never come back"
Came hear from my birthday dinner and drove up from Georgia. This is probably the best Peruvian restaurant I’ve been to. Service was great and the food quality is the best I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten at many Peruvian restaurants from New York to Florida and this is easily top 5 and possibly #1. Check this place out!
My food was great! The waitress was nice and did a good job at explaining everything on the menu to someone who never visited the restaurant before. She recommended what was highly popular and it was delicious! (Picture posted 3/19/2022 -still delicious)
Talk about some good food! I would have never even thought about this place if my friend hadn't been in the mood for Peruvian food. So glad I was let in on this secret place. Everything I've tried has been delicious. They know what they're doing here
Used to be great, not anymore. Bistec a lo pobre was overcooked, mondonguito a la italiana super salty and missing ingredients, cau cau not cook properly and chicha morada was just sweet water with clove and color. Worst experience in peruvian food.
Ive been coming to Mily y Lalos since i was a kid, i love the owners and the food its a small business and family owned but the waitress they hired makes me want to never come back. Every time i come and see she is on the clock i want to
This place has become a hit or miss everytime I go she always dont have something, how you gonna make stew but not have all that goes with the plate, and then dont want to cook it cause you still have an hour left to closing and not even
Unfortunately we had a terrible experience here. They put in the wrong order and I didn't realize it until they brought the food out. They refused to take the plate back and insisted that we had to pay for it, even though the waitress is
Awesome quality food, yes there is one waitress tending to the whole restaurant but shes one hell of a waitress if you are considerate of the fact that it's just her, she didnt even write down orders and she had every single item correct
Definitely NOT authentic Peruvian food and all those positive reviews are either paid for or employees. I’ve never in my life been to a Peruvian restaurant that charged an extra fee for cancha, which is always complimentary at authentic
We came across this place on 7/28/23 Peru’s Independence Day. While there was 80’s pop music playing on the background, I asked the waitress if she could play some Peruvian Festive music. She quickly replied said “the owner is the only
I was almost afraid to walk inside or even get out of my car for that matter. The place is empty! We were the only ones in the restaurant besides the staff. On top of that, once seated we asked about different menu items, specifically
The food was average and they only have 1 waiter for the whole restaurant, so you will have to wait... and there is also a waiting time for the food to come out.. Most important, they lock their door from within and you cant leave the
I'm a regular..... correction, I was a regular. I order the same thing every visit. It's supposed to come with the green sauce. The girl told me I had to pay $1.50 for a table spoon of sauce. I Asked doesn't the meal usually come with
As a Peruvian I can say this is the worst food I’ve ever tried. I ordered a Parihuela soup, it was disgusting, no seafood flavor at all, it was tasteless. I had to return it and cancel. I ordered a ceviche mixto, took forever and when
They serve a large quantity with a poor quality. Ordered a (Tallarines verdes con bisteak) Pesto Sauce Pasta w/ a thin poor cut, piece of steak. The meat was the cheapest, thinnest cut of meat you can get, at any local butcher shop or
Used to be one of my favorite places, but quality has gone down. The food that they use to cook does not taste as fresh. My favorite dish here use to be ceviche but I will no longer come anymore. I’ve been here 3 times in the last six
The food we order was huancaina with steak tallarines very good seasoned the Lomo needs improvement. The servers need to pay more attention to costumers be a little more attentive. But overall it's a nice place to relax and eat . More
This is the worst Peruvian food I’ve had, We ordered the Seafood Chaufa it didn’t taste like seafood at all also the rice was hard, also the seafood ceviche horrible mostly tiny shrimps and tough octopus, very expensive for the food
I had a service dog ( chihuahua) and I totally agree and understand restaurants and people dinning in not liking dogs . Ok, I’ll leave, no issues. But here, I showed my dog’s ID as a service dog, she was in a stroller ( she is
My fiance and I have been looking forward to eat at this place. On a Tuesday (today) the place is supposed to be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Well, I'm extremely confused whether they're even open because we arrived past
Terrible experience. They almost didn't have anything on the menu. The server didn't speak a word of English which I think is ridiculous. She brought in the wrong order too. Never going back there. More
Really love coming here. I always get the arroz chaufa and my husband gets the ceviche. Really great flavor! The chicha is very good too! Always get great service and food is served promptly.
Delicious food that you can't find anywhere else in Charlotte. Don't be fooled by it's quiet look, this place is serving up fresh flavorful dishes at a reasonable price. More
The three items I initially planned on ordering from the menu were unavailable. So I ended up getting lomo saltado and chica. The drink was great and the food was food.
The food was absolutely wonderful! Every flavor complemented each other well, not overpowering another at all. This trip, We ordered the Jalea. HIGHLY recommend.
The food is very good and the portions are good for the price. The actual restaurant can use a makeover very old place and atmosphere is very depressing. More
Good Food... many choices.. understaffed . Food prepared upon ordering so be prepared for a bit of a wait. Quaint atmosphere. More
Don't visit this restaurant, Charlotte has many other beautiful options. Here you'll only find disappointment. More
Jalea was like eating air. No kids Menu/you’ll pay adult price for each plate. Steak was like cardboard.
