We worked with Midtown Florist for our wedding—which involved ten medium sized arrangements, ten larger arrangements, two very large centerpieces, multiple corsages and boutonnieres, my bridal bouquet, and a lovely barrette with flowers for my hair. The shop on Atlantic Avenue is pretty bare bones, so we weren’t sure initially what to expect. But Ugo, the shop manager (owner?), was incredibly clear, communicative, and professional every step of the way. He is also very kind, and was really excellent at helping us figure out our vision for our wedding, within our price range, and given the August heat (it was an outdoor event). When we came into the store, he mocked up arrangements and made sure we were happy with the colors, flower types, etc. He mapped out the entire floral set-up for us so we knew exactly what everything would look like—and then he executed that vision with precision. All I can say is that I believe this flower shop should really be getting a lot more business for big jobs such as this! Our wedding was not huge (slightly fewer than 100 people) but still a substantial event. The flowers were affordable, looked amazing, were delivered on time and with care, and really made our day! I *highly* recommend Midtown Florist for larger and smaller events, in addition to everyday bouquets. Thank you so much Midtown Florist and Ugo for making our wedding so special!!!

I waffled between 3 and 4 stars because I had one amazing and one bad experience with them. I've ordered on two separate occasions (two birthdays). The first was superb. Same day service, everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly, and the flowers were gorgeous. Plus they lasted over a week and were competitively priced for the bouquet I got. Second time, I ordered a day in advance for pick-up. Went to the store the next day and they didn't have the flowers ready. And it wasn't like they were in the midst of making them. They just forgot to make them. The woman working there offered me a selection from the front of the case, and while they were all nice, they were nothing like what I ordered. My wife also picked out a few other things, and rather than offer any sort of discount for the trouble of not having the order ready, the woman just kept saying how nice the arrangement was that I'd picked and how it was her favorite. I didn't press the issue because we were in a hurry, but in hindsight, she didn't even really apologize for the fact that the order wasn't ready. I'll definitely give them another chance, but it's disappointing that they had such a big issue on my second time there.

I live in North Carolina but My family lives in Brooklyn! My grandmothers birthday was coming up I was looking for something to give and I made the right choice by coming here !! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this florist.!!! I ordered Tuesday August 1st around 12:30a my grandmother received her BEAUTIFUL arrangement the very same day around 2 that afternoon!!!!! They even called to tell me I didn't sign the card! Everything was perfect & I will be back I'm very happy and impressed. I cannot say enough great things about Barry, the owner who took amazing care of me. I called two times recently under distress, in tears, after quickly learning of loved ones' passings and he calmed me down and helped me get flowers immediately delivered to the friends and families THOSE NIGHTS. Both times I had called at night and both times he was able to get deliveries out immediately. I am so grateful for such care and outstanding service. He was so helpful and caring during such a distressful time and really helped to bring comfort quickly to loved ones. Midtown Florist is the ONLY Florist I have saved in my phone. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

Beautiful flowers and great service. My dad had originally tried to send me flowers from another company for Valentine’s Day, but something went wrong with their shipment and they had to cancel the delivery at the last minute. My dad tried to call multiple florists to see if he could get a bouquet delivered but everyone had already maxed out for the day. When he called Midtown Florist, they had just closed for the day but they graciously went out of their way to deliver me a beautiful bouquet anyways. I placed a flower order for my girlfriend to be delivered to her hospital. Unfortunately due to complications with the hospital the driver was unable to deliver the flowers. The driver went back a second time but was still unable to deliver. The shop called me to explain the situation and was extremely accommodating. They offered to deliver the flowers a couple days later and to a new address. Great customer service as they went above and beyond to get these flowers delivered. Love this lil hidden gem of a shop. I got tired of buying eucalyptus from Trader Joe’s because it would go bad in 3 days and I got very little for what I paid. I came in to inquire about buying eucalyptus and the owner sold it to me by however stems I wanted. He was so sweet and thoughtful. He took the time to explain to me how to care for them and make them last. Price was the best for quantity and quality I got. My first bunch lasted 2 weeks and I just bought my second.I will be going regularly to replenish my eucalyptus.

I've gotten flowers from here before so the choice to share my experience with someone else was a no brainer. I sent my friend the vibrant shine deluxe flowers and she loved them. Unfortunately, I do not have a picture but they're as colorful as the picture and not all of the lilies blossomed so they'll last longer. The delivery was fast and easy. The person was very nice. Prices aren't too bad either. I did same day service and they arrived right on time. Will continue to support this shop.

I ordered a floral arrangement for my Aunt's funeral, and my expectations (which were high) were surpassed - the flowers were simply stunning. I was also really impressed by the care and attention to detail of the whole team at Midtown Florist. There was a minor problem with the spelling of a name (dictated down a transatlantic phone line), but they managed to fix it, despite it being out of hours. If I could give them six stars I would. Truly excellent - really, really recommend them.

I highly recommend Midtown Florist! Ugo is so friendly and amazing to work with. I went to the shop to do a mock up before putting in the order for my event. He was extremely patient, receptive to my comments, worked with the vases I provided, understood and executed my vision perfectly and all at a reasonable price! Very close to EVERYTHING, and only 2 blocks from the Barclays Center and 8 different trains. I showed the staff a photo, and they were able to identify the flowers and create a smaller version of the bouquet I wanted at the price I could afford. “How much do you want to pay?” is a GREAT way to get repeat customers. Had an issue with a flower deliver not being delivered on a Fri. Try to call them the next morning on a Sat to rectify the matter, but they're closed. They did get back to me on Sun, and couldn't apologize enough. They recited the mistake. As disappointing as it was not to have the flowers delivered, they more than make up for it in the costumer service.

Despite an initial booking computer glitch, which required a phone call follow up, the experience was greht overall! The phone person took time to explain the challenges of delivering to the intended location and tried to ensure they had necessary info like an alternate phone # to enable delivery. I had a wonderful experience with the folks at Midtown Florists. I was not the easiest customer as I gave them bad info about the delivery address.
