This Metro is located in the heart of the college area, UofT and Ryerson area and the biggest perk for students is that they have student discount Tuesday through Thursday of about 10%. Show your student pass and you'll get it at check out. They sell almost everything you need to sustain life, raw ingredients, dried goods, tidbits, meats, vegetables, cooked food, household items etc. They tend to have really good offers for charcuterie items like salumi or parmegiano reggiano at really good prices so do look out for their flyer items. Prices for regular items are a little higher than other supermarket chains but they are consistently fresh and nice. The staff service is sub par, I recalled once when I went to buy their rainbow trout which was on offer and asked the staff how to get it at the price on the flyer, but the staff kind of brushed me aside and stated that it needs to be bought in larger quantities of 1kg or more. I already had the intention of buying quite a lot 2kg +-, but that attitude was kind of unnecessary. When I revealed that I was buying larger quantity, the attitude changed and service improved. Recently I went back to buy the flour which was on offer but the faulty app did not allow the coupon to be added and when I asked the staff, they just brushed me aside and said nothing they could do. I went to another metro by College and the staff allowed me to connect yo her wifi and also got me the deal I wanted. I've decided to drop the rating as the service quality is really non existent. Cashiers are not friendly as I reckon they have to help serve a large number of customers each day. Again I'm happy not to pay more for better service as long as I get good products at good prices. Great place for students to pick up better items at discounted prices after showing the student pass.

Worst shopping experience ever!!! One of the security is racist. I went to buy a sandwich with my little dog which is only 20 lbs yesterday. Since before I always shop there and saw lots of people shopping with their dogs all the time, some are still puppies, which means they are definitely could not be service dogs! And I asked another security before if I can bring my dog with me and the answer is positive. But this time the security keeps following me and watching me even after I told her I only need buy a sandwich and I will leave as soon as possible. When I was waiting she also stand behind me and ask me to hold my dog, I did what she said, she still watch me. The way she watch me makes me feel very uncomfortable. And I told her that she doesn’t need to follow me because I’m already in the line for checkout, she still watch me like I stole something. The most ridiculous thing is that when I already left Metro, she stopped me at the door, continue “educate” me that I can’t bring my dog inside. I said I totally understand this is her job so I did what she asked, but she need change her work method which is not respectful at all and I feel uncomfortable. But she said she doesn’t think it’s her problems because some people lie to her. I’m just so confused why she assume I lied ?? but other people don’t?? I complained to their manager but he didn’t take any notes or record for that, which I’m not sure if he takes it seriously. So far I still haven’t gotten any feedback from Metro! I am so disappointed about Metro customer service! So take it seriously if you have to buy something with your dog at Metro. You might get unfair treat and have an unsatisfied shopping experience!

I don't think Metro corporate office or Customer Relations Team never check the Google Review, but I still want to leverage my complaints. You really have to train your staffs well. I live right next to this Metro location which means I almost go here for grocery everyday for myself and family. The rudest staffs are here: always looking down customers, maybe racism, being rude, pushing, not listening to clients, and etc. And I was pretty satisfied with your products. However, even the qualify of products got worse recently. I got the chicken breast today, it smells freaking bad and stinky. It almost made me sick. Seriously, Metro, please improve your stores and bring me back the good days with you. I've been extremely disappointed of your store, especially the College Park location. Probably, I don't see any single nice (or at least normal) staff here recently. You gotta change it. I feel even nervous to go there to deal with your staffs. I wanna do happy shopping. Lol

Although it's the closest grocery store to my home, I will no longer be shopping at this Metro. It seems every security guard placed at this location was trained to follow Black customers in particular. It's a small but busy store and yet, every time i shop here i find myself the only customer with a uniformed shadow. Curious how these guards think watching shoppers from the front of the store is a sufficient way to do their job until they spot me. I spoke to the manager about this problem. She apologized but didn't indicate whether she would (or could) do anything about it, as security is provided by another company. The convenience is no longer worth the stress of being targeted so i will be shopping elsewhere from now on. I strongly encourage other people of colour, especially Black people, to avoid this store for the sake of your mental health.

For a smaller sized Metro supermarket in the downtown core, it’s not bad. Because of the size of the store, all the meats are pre-packaged. There's a fresh seafood department. You can get in and out with your grocery needs quickly. I picked up a loaf of bread which was on sale. We did self checkout. The cash register showed it as regular price when it was scanned. Asked for Metro staff assistance. I had to walk back to grab another loaf which had the sale price sticker on it. Scanned the other loaf of bread, it still shows the price incorrectly. Had to call cashier supervisor to interpret the cash register. The computer cash system shows the regular price then deducts the discount as a separate line item. If the original Metro cashier staff had this knowledge, it would make the experience a lot bette. It boils down to more experience and training.

People in comments complaining about cashiers being racist and not smiling - chill out. Do your groceries and leave those people alone, they are doing their job and not entertaining you. I have NEVER experienced anything of that mentioned in comments. Shopping here 2-3 times a week for a year already, it’s all good and even more than enough when it comes to the attitude of cashiers and store workers. Never experienced anything but helping me out, giving advice, etc. Tell you need a bag, tell you are paying with card/cash, come on, you know the drill, don’t wait to be asked! Save your time and time of people working there and be respectful. Deducted 1 star for bad and absolutely not fresh smell that comes from seafood department in store:( I cannot even walk by it without covering my nose, not even telling about buying anything there.

During lunch hour, a woman working at the hot food counter where they have cooked chicken, potatoes, veggies etc had disposable gloves on when serving food and still wore the same disposable gloves when using the cash register and handling cash when customers were paying, then not changing her gloves before serving food to the next customer. I watched her for a while then when it was my turn, I asked her to change her gloves and she had the audacity to ask me why. I told her very nicely that she was handling money and touching the cash register with the same gloves she's wearing when serving the food and she gave me a look before changing her gloves. Next time I see her doing that I will notify the store manager.

What is the problem with the stuff in that store??? Why are you hired these racist? The cashiers are really really rude. They never wanna say anything. Do not ask my payment method and when i show my credit card, they become angry because they think I will use debit?? You should ask me. okay??? And the stuff at the automatic payment area is totally a racist. I raise my hand three times because I wanna use student discount, she saw it everytime and just walk past me. When she finally come and she said I should raise my student card before I raised hand or I am wasting her time. Come on. Are you that busy? And then she said she cannot help me because my bag was in front of the screen. She said it very very rude.

The quality of this Metro is really sub-par. They’re constantly out of stock of essentials (completely bare shelves where the rice and oatmeal are supposed to be, for example). The last 5 times I’ve been to this location, they were completely out of the type of yogurt I buy, despite supposedly stocking it. The quality of the fruits and vegetables is ok. The meat section is often missing such basic things as non-bulk chicken breasts. Shopping here is often a really unpleasant experience, too, since it is so crowded and checkout takes forever. I can recommend the deli section and their prepared foods section is quite good. But as a grocery store, you’d be better off shopping somewhere else.

It’s a fraud!! I placed an online order but the delivery was 2 hours late!! 2 hours! By then, I was out of my home so I told the driver who was ON HIS WAY to my home to take the order back to Metro. I want a refund instead. However, it’s been more than a week and I still haven’t received my refund! Why would I be charged at the first place if I never receive my order. I called Customer Service who said he couldn’t refund me, he could only escalate my case. I don’t think they will ever bother to refund to me! What a fraud! I never had their problem with Walmart Grocery. There was a time Walmart missed a delivery but at least it immediately refunded to me.

I'm writing this review because of a specific situation that we saw in this grocery store. I went there with my husband to buy pizza, and a very kind and sweet girl started to fulfil our request. Suddenly an older woman asked her to leave in a very rude way in front of us and then asked what we wanted. We saw the disappointment on the girl's face, which broke our hearts. We felt so bad for the girl, an immigrant who contributes to the economy of this country and has to face this type of treatment at work for nothing. I think Metro should look closer at their employees because it is not the first time we have seen it in their supermarket chain.

  • Racquel Garnette

I like shopping at this store. This store is a huge mess. Then as soon as I reached at the self checkout cashier the guy decided to come to the self checkout area because he was bored and he has nothing to do. Why bother have a security guard if you think most people are stealing at your store. Nobody wasn't stealing at your store. This African American guy decided to watch me when I was walking in the aisles. Then as soon as I walked to self checkout machine he decided to stay by where the other cashier was. It was because of that Young Asian girl who thinks that I was stealing at most woman is stealing at your store.

Metro Like other metro groups, you could find a variety of things and goods there. The grocery part is prepared for any kind of food like lemon , tangerine, watermelon , oranges and so on. The other part of the bakery was a place to find bread and flour and sugar and some cakes , I love this part With its special smell. You could find eggs and vegetables on the metro. Yogurt and milk are accessible there. The employees were helpful and kind. They know the place well and they help you to find things. The price was not very expensive, but you could find some cheaper places over there.

  • Tristan Durie

Sadly none of these positive things matter if you don’t pay your staff a living wage: they have a pretty decent selection and staff are friendly especially one of the lady’s at checkout who’s worked there since i moved to the annex But, I’m not going to shop somewhere where essentially the staff labour is being stolen from them. Same reason I’ve stopped shopping a cross the street at the other chain underpaying staff. Trying fiesta farms today for the first time as it’s independent, yet farther away. Hope Metro’s owners gets their hands out of their employees wallets, and their heads out of their…

I visit this store because it is closest to me and I don't have any other options. They have removed the glass shields between the self serve checkouts even though the cases are going up. Why did you install the shields if you wanted to remove them in a couple of months? If you go here expect someone right into your face as you are taking out your stuff from your cart and scanning them. And one more thing, please ask the people at the food counter to wear gloves and stop touching the food. They used to do that before, now it's just worse. Management has been just functioning very weakly.

  • RKS

Basic grocery store for essentials. Fairly small so selection is not very wide. If you want a better selection than a large Loblaws is just a block east. Store is not very clean and rather old so I avoid the "fresh" food options and only pick up packaged items. If you want a cleaner and nicer shop there is a Sobeys Urban Fresh upstairs and to the west. Without a doubt the single biggest problem with this grocery store is how long it takes to checkout. Even when there is a number of checkouts open with only as few costomers in line they are slow.

  • Gaja Sivabalan

Do you guys train your cashiers in this place to do customer service or what? The cashier in the food department is extremely rude. She asked if I was a student by looking at the color of my skin and said she asked because she wanted to make sure my card worked. What does that mean? This was extremely discriminating and may I ask if this is something that you ask a customer? All I wanted was to pay for my groceries in peace. Please hire some people with respect if you don't want to be sued for vicarious liability.

  • Ahmed Elian

My weekly go-to spot for shopping. I track the offers. There are always good ones. The Air Miles program is the best, especially with the personalized offers. And they offer student discount on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. So, overall, pretty dam good. Still, the downside is, you can't always expect to find the specific product that you want. Oh, and sometimes they run out of shopping carts. They're rather popular, and the place isn't that big, so... This is also why it gets too crowded sometimes.

  • Chris

I used to have a 5-star review for this location, and I waited to adjust the review hoping I had a one-off experience after so many years of shopping here. On two separate occasions, I have purchased food products from this specific Metro location, that have been within the "best before" date, but the product was expired inside the packaging. After 10 years of shopping here, I’m feeling as though something has changed at this location. I hope they bounce back in the near future.

  • m

I used to love this store but the workers are unhappy with the changes. The service has suffered. The employees have become rude and annoyed with any distraction. There aren't enough workers to deal with the traffic they get and it's coming out at customers. I've been finding rotten produce left in nearly empty bins. The clearing and restocking isn't great. The lines are really long now and the self check out just seems to stress people out and take more time than cashiers did.

  • Trx_English Adventures

They got a lot of products, what I like most is that they always improving themselves. I don't go every day, is far from my home, I go every so often and it's nice seeing that anytime something changed inside and more products are added. Food wise, they have many different products; pasta, dairy, fish, meats and so on, the prices are reasonable. Can be really busy sometimes, due to the fact that is by college station and it can be also difficult to find someone that helps you.

  • Elissa Thomas

I would give it a higher grade, but certain factors came into play with the grade, size and quality. I find the seafood section unappetizing and would jot suggest buying any. The times that I tried paying, the fish would be not safe to eat. One thing I personally enjoy is their 10% off for students from Tuesday-Thursday. I know alot of other stores that don't do that, so really appreciate, plus the workers are usually really friendly and you don't find that all the time.

  • Vincent

This Metro is conveniently located right next to the subway station, they have a great selection and variety. However, their greens aren't as fresh as other grocery stores, and they are not cheaper as a result. I even bought something that had expired for almost a month, though they were refunded at the end. The staff are very lovely and very patient to help you find what you need, thumps up for that. In conclusion, this is a decent place for quick grocery shopping.

  • Brian Waters

Metro Grocery Store is the favorite place to buy groceries, located in lower level of College Park... downtown Toronto. It offers every conceivable item one could be looking for. Fresh baked bread & meals for take out, a full row of cheeses. The many varieties of fruits & veggies are astounding. The qualities of the products are great and there are always specials on most items available. The staff is friendly and helpful. I just love shopping there!!

  • Jerry George

Clean. Busy. Not much groceries to choose from due to this being a small store. Kind of like a boutique grocery store which caters to the people who only buy a few items. They recently installed self check out machines so rarely do they have anyone at the staffed check out lanes. This used to be 24hrs but not anymore. Prices are high with little selection. I find Metro has offered less for more money as the years go by. Not worth my loyalty anymore.

  • Sergio Helio Acosta Solis

Metro is Always Excellent for Me . They fresh Meat all kinds even Sea Food . Their veggies and fruits have a good quality , also fresh baked bread and all kind of cakes and desserts. You can get meals ready to serve if you don't want to cook , flowers for your love at home , the staff are pretty nice people and the branch at College close late at midnight. The subway station is like 50 steps no need to go out which for winter is the Best ..!!

  • Hadi Rezvani

I used to get veggie meals from this store. When I wanted to get a same order today, the folks in the meal section told me that the veggie meal option is not available anymore and you have to purchase the items separately. When I asked the managers on their policy, he confirmed that they are not allowed to offer the veggie meals due to the government regulations. This is like a joke!! I ended up getting a veggie meal from somewhere else.

  • Ron van Kempen

Ideal location inside College park, but very small store with limited selection. Staff range from excellent to horrible. Clearly some staff do not want to be there. If you want assistance, forget get it! Customer service is impossible! Staff need training on customer service, perhaps they need a career change. Staff avoid making eye contact, thinking, maybe you’ll just leave. What a joke shopping at metro is not a privilege!

  • Chris .S

The worst service ever. During the self checkout, the person who stands there hovered over and checked things for several times. She keeps touching my screen even when I didn’t ask for any help and messing around with my stuff. If I weren’t in a rush I would had asked to speak with the store manager. The door will alarm if anything not properly checked out, why acting like customers are trying to steal stuff?!

  • Amber Evans

This Metro is a smaller store but has all the basic things that will would need for groceries. I've never had any issue coming here. They also handled covid pretty quickly. It's a good store for regular priced items, more than Fresh Co but less than Loblaws. If they don't have what you need, you can probably find it at the huge Loblaws down the street (but be aware that it will be more expensive).

  • Sumanth Mohan

Amazing location ( within the college street subway , access to the PATH, multiple entrances to the building ) The space is limited considering it’s not a standalone Metro but the management has done a great job managing it. Easy in , Easy out , multiple cashiers , self service machines , most of the products are stocked up. This is my Go-To store . Keep up the good work Team Metro!

  • E Sayed

It’s my favourite store for desserts and yummy Portuguese tart! I have been craving for some yummy sweet stuff to munch on and this is the ultimate place I got it! I had also got a birthday cake from this metro location and it turned out to be the most delicious I’ve ever had! It was a mousse cake♥️ The staff is friend and helpful Mask is mandatory due to covid 19

  • Iren M

In the culinary department, pizza is prepared from expired products. The disgusting smell of the sauce, I had to throw money into the trash. They wash the oven with bleach and cook pizza in it, after which the taste of bleach remains in your pizza. This is a health hazard.Where does the store manager look? I will never buy anything from this store again.

  • Elaine Wang

It's not much cheaper than the other grocery stores (Farmboy above and Loblaws down the street East on Carlton) nearby anymore and today I got yelled at/berated by a cashier. It's always been a bit hectic in there but I think today was the last time I'll be going in. Maybe more staffing and better signage about where customers should line up would help.

  • Keri Trimble

I like the store a lot but there aren't enough shopping carts and this is really starting to annoy me. There used to be a lot but now you have to wait for someone to cash out to get their shopping cart. Metro needs to be more aware of who their customers are--many seniors and elderly people who need a shopping cart to do their grocery shopping.

  • Enaiyat Ghani Ovy

Our experience was positive while shopping groceries here multiple times. They have good quality products and so far, we always find the staffs nice and friendly. Aisles are organized properly and they have amazing bakery and deli. It is kind of Safeway style grocery store and they also do the airmiles. I would definitely recommend this place.

  • H M

Why the hell do you guys have a rude old guy in frozen section who hates his job and doesn’t want to work ? So disrespectful won’t even answer your questions but yells at you . You need to have a serious conversation with the older cross eyed dude who works in frozen I couldn’t believe how I was being spoken to just by asking a question.

  • Nick Chia Liang

I used to shop here a lot, however, after renovation only very few 1 or 2 cashiers and the station is really small. When I bring my own bags, I have hard time to organize my groceries because cashier just scan and I have to catch up her speed for putting groceries in my bags. In loblaws, cashiers actually help us with packing groceries.

  • Terrence Li

Had the worst experience ever today. Extremely rude and impatient cashier snapped at me for not understanding what he said (his sound was extremely muffled). Then when he bagged my food he used a bag that was already ripped. So some of my food dropped out when I carried it home. No doubt that was likely intentional. Disgusting.

  • Rick Dagger

This is a good store clean well-kept I have no complaints. My only problem with this store is that they are perpetually moving things around so I can never find anything. On the other hand the shelves are well-stocked their produce is fresh and frankly their prices are better than some of the other stores in the area

  • Alireza Ahadipour

I'm a regular around here, and I pop into this store whenever I need to do some shopping. Have to say, their meat is consistently top-notch and seriously fresh. But here's the kicker: their bread game is weak. I've given their Persian-style bread a shot a couple of times now, and guess what? Moldy every other time!

  • SUSI Florence

I went this morning to order some steamed veggies from the Hot Table. Around 10 am. The woman who served the food ...had great big boils all over her arms and likey her hands too. They were covered with large plastic gloves so I could not tell for certain. Perhaps a different department ..it was so off-putting..

  • iSH

If you live in the College/Yonge area, you'll find the best sales/prices at Metro Supermarket. It is much cheaper than the popular giant Loblaws or the above Sobeys, but obviously the selection is more limited because it is a smaller store. However, some sellers could use a quick guide on how to deal with sales.

  • Toronto Reviewed

Good convenient grocery in the middle of busy intersection. It’s underground and located right beside the subway line so getting some groceries in the go is a breeze. Smaller than the usual chains in the suburbs due to real estate $$, they still offer lots of choice, I like their fresh foods made every day.

  • Sasha Abramova

Most of the time products aren’t fresh.. I got spoiled meets a few times and fruits aren’t the best there is Farm Boy in the same building where I’ve never had issues with the quality Don’t waste your time and money going here They can refund you for spoiled food, but you’ll need to bring it back to them

  • Spicy Chickpea

The cashier lady in this picture below was rude to me as hell. She took out my credit card AGRESSIVELY when I asked if i could have a bag. No smiles. No thank you. Thr store's manager has got to do something about her. No one should be allowed to deal with customers with this attitude. Unacceptable.

  • Franky Edder

Metro isn't a real fancy looking store, but it has some of the best produce I've seen around the downtown core. Prices are moderate, not too high, but never cheap. Fast forward 2019: The store has undergone some amazing upgrades in appearance. No longer a bland looking store, it sparkles with life.

  • Lyle Green

They don't like customers. At closing time when leaving the store, a manager & 2 security officers watch for anyone stealing food, makes everyone feel like a suspect. The big "L" at The Gardens has a manager at the door saying Thank you for shopping here and have a great night.

  • Samantha Wilkinson

Love it when you're at self checkout and a security guard stands right in front of you making customers feel totally uncomfortable even though nothing is going on. On the other hand the self checkout helper very efficient and polite. Never want to go back there.

  • Wu Kelly

Vegetable and fruit always goes bad. They sell wrong price products and expired items. I have 5 years shopping experience at here. I’m Super disappointed right now. I won’t come back again. I will choose farm boy instead. Also BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. SUPPER BAD!

  • Mitzi Ramirez

It's very busy after work hours (5pm - 6:30pm). It's a smaller store so the selection isn't that big as you would find in the bigger stores. When it's a smaller store there are long line up during their peak times but they do have self check out stations.

  • Cecelia Davidson

It's a decent grocery store. Great location if you're working downtown, it's super convenient. Not the biggest selection of ethnic foods but it has all your basic stuff. Food is expensive lately but that's everywhere sadly. Friendly staff. No complaints!

  • Carrie Davis

The only downside is it's kinda small and packed. Not great for COVID times if you're worried about that. However, I've found they have so much more selection than other competing grocery stores near by. They also take Air Miles which is always a bonus.

  • Marissa Hofland

For the size and location, this metro has a great selection and variety. Lots of nice cheeses and a great bakery and hot food section as well. A bit crowded and it's hard to maintain social distancing due to the size but overall they manage it well.

  • JO ISMAIL JOHARI

As usual always fresh and always ready to serve. Thank you Metro at College Park, Toronto, Canada I thank you to all the staff at Metro for your excellent services. So good to have Air Miles and I'm saving more! Happy Holidays ye all! …

  • Sal

Love the new facelift! The store looks and feels modern with super efficient self-checkout machines, great lighting & aisles and nice music. Makes the grocery experience better. Could be a bit expensive if you do all your grocery shopping here.

  • Chris Wright

Great staff and management. Big thumbs up for Daniel I don't know how long he's been there but Metro should be grateful for having him as a manager. Special shout out to Rahul who made sure I was taken care of! No complaints over here!!

  • Cip de Vries

I'm loving the updated Metro at College Park. The baked goods are great, good produce. The selection can be lacking in some areas, I can't seem to find any tofu products in the entire store. The new self checkout area is a bonus too.

  • Victor Bertrand

Kind of a meh location overall. The "fresh" produce is all fairly questionable. I purchased grapes which were located next to the fish section and I kid you not, even after washing them they reeked of fish. Had to throw them all out.

  • Max Ho

The store manager, Nathan & Toulla with the rest of the team there is extremely helpful, knowledgeable in all things related with canned food. I'm very grateful of their assistance when we are securing cans for a massive food drive!

  • lifang tao

The supermarket is near my home. I often buy food on weekends, the vegetables are very fresh, the variety of the meat is very rich, the price is reasonable. The staff is very friendly and the shopping environment is very welcoming.

  • c. South

Terrible cashier! Asks people ' retired on disability for money for the food bank! What!! The nerve to ask elderly disabled for more money when the already overcharge for food to start with! I'm shopping somewhere else now!!

  • William Khalil

2020.10.08 The metro supermarket is a very convenient location in college park. Always busy but you can find all your basics. The staff are OK but never seen them smiling. People should love what they do otherwise stay home.

  • Tadeo Fernandez

Not big at all, not many options, almost same price than farm boy and way less quality, I bought some pre cooked tortellini and despite the date on the cover it was already bad, acid and smelly, too bad I found out at home.

  • Juliana H

Metro is convenient and prices are ok if you look at the weekly flyer. BUT please beware of the Deli. I saw an employee touch cash, a cleaning cloth and then use the same gloves to cut the deli meat. This is NOT okay.

  • Deborah Zhang

I go to this metro quite often. The staff are usually nice however the Asian lady at the cashier is a little rude. When I tried to talk to her I had to repeat myself 3 times before she finally gave me a response. Meh.

  • randy mccunn

Very busy store. Adequate checkouts open is hit and miss. Often out of sale items. Limited selection of items. On a positive, the hot meals are fresh with ample selections to choose from. Store is always clean

  • Tatiana Guileva

Friendly staff, clean store, organized isles, I can always find what I’m looking for. They try hard to make sure the food is always fresh. I wish they would have more international food options.

  • Kero Chan

Quite a large supermarket just outside of the subway exit. Divided into various sections including bakery, fresh and raw food, cooked food, diary etc. Store is clean and well organized.

  • WellPricedStuff

24 hour #Metro supermarket inside the college park complex #downtownTO. Clean and well organized. Great sales on Halloween chocolates going on right now! TorontoLocalGuide review.

  • Sandeep

A grocery store for perishable food items and salads. They have students' discounts. But, they don't do price match with other stores. Wide variety of products available here.

  • Benjamin

I know paying your CEO $5.4 Million a year costs a lot but if you could hire one or two more minimum wage cashiers it would be greatly appreciated. HIRE MORE STAFF PLEASE.

  • Amy M

Yup. Personal experience along with an abundance of 1 star reviews here. I now dread coming to this location. You've officially lost a customer forever …

  • Jennifer King

Often out of stock and never any employees to assist you. Unfortunate because every other metro I've been to is great, this one has location and nothing else

  • Jeff Hsu

They aren't putting out things in the flyer, or things in general.. what's the point of staying open if you aren't going to do your jobs? Just quit

  • Claudia L

Too busy. However, I understand it’s one of two grocery stores in the area. Avoid during the week during rush hour evenings! It’s a zoo!!

It's a huge place, high quality food, friendly staff, there's a student discount from Tuesday to Thursday. It is a bit expensive

This place was listed as open on Google for good Friday but was actually closed. No indication until reaching the store.

This place is an absolute ripoff. Have often left to go to Loblaws (!?!) because their prices are better.

Large, clean and modern well-stocked Metro. It also has convenient indoor access into the subway system.

Expiration dates? What are they? Stock rotation at this location seems to be a second thought.
