This is a very long and overdue review. In May 2018, I was the victim of a hit and run on Interstate 24. I was passing through town en route to Georgia, when a pick up truck slammed into my Jeep and sped off. My family was on board, and thankfully I safely made it to a nearby exit and called 911. No injuries and my Jeep's fuel cut off system was activated so we were literally on the side of the road. Approximately *an hour* later, an officer arrived at our location and conducted a preliminary investigation. A case number was issued and since then, there has been no investigative follow up. Terrible police work all around.

They are terrible at homicides. Their rate to solve is so low. They do not protect and serve anything bit the police chief who acts like he doesn't like his job. Then his comments about his ghetto son , shows how he is cold hearted and should circulate on off to another state. On his machine if you call the police ..when he speaks Spanish tou can hear in his voice how bothered he is to be making the whole message. Well he should be bothered and move around to another state. The police .. most are veterans and shouldn't be police. They are ppl the have no emotions and live violence and they all have mental issues and egos.

You seem to forget who you work for… you work for the people! You DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT to tell us what we can and can’t see and retaliating against your officers because you think they may have leaked information the public is entitled to is absolutely disgusting. You took oaths to protect and defend… remember that. The people you are alienating are the ones who stood up for you when they screamed defund the police. If we stop supporting you you go away permanently. We are the thin line between you having a job and the unemployment line… remember your place

The officers are rude, snarky and unhelpful. Two, allowed me to get harassed by someone right in front of them outside a bar as I was trying to order a Uber. Acted as if they aren’t use to dealing with drunk people, it’s the middle of Broadway they were assigned to. Were extremely rude about us trying to get our friends out of the bar they were in front of and basically blocking the doors and ironically telling us we needed to leave as we were trying to do just that. These officers were a joke, find a new profession or a new city.

Called to make a report of repeated trespass of our property that we aren’t able to be physically at until next week. Operator thought it was funny and laughed while I was trying to make the report, laughing while saying someone has to be at the property to make a report. Not a funny situation when someone breaks through electric entry gate and enters our garage illegally. A crime was committed yet she refused to allow us to make report 06/29/21 3:35pm on non emergency line.

Kudos to the Police officers/ Response Teams during such a tragedy! You put your lives on the line. Excellent communication from room to room. It was clear concise and with speed and handled safely for all involved. You guys did great! Kudos to the trainers of your department as well it all paid off and shows you all paid attention absorbed the necessary information and tatics! You all did absolutely amazing! I hope the department and officers involved are recognized.

Restored my faith in heroism and men. Every officer who ran without second thought into that school are the best among us. As a man I look up to each one of you and hope I could have a fraction of that bravery. None of you deserve any trauma that you may have gotten from that day. All of you can go to bed each night knowing you have contributed more than just about anyone in our society has. God be with each of you.

I'm not sure if this is the right precinct to post this on, but Nashville Police did an excellent job with the recent school shooting. They acted like professionals, and rushed to the shooter despite shots being fired. True heroes that saved countless lives, unlike Uvalde PD. Hats off to the officers who ran in and did what they were trained to do.

I wanted to say God bless all of you, and thank you for what you do each day. The response to the recent slaughter of those children and adults was heroic. The dispatchers who took the 911 calls were critical in getting the response to the scene. Good job to all of you in the dispatch center. Again God bless and protect you all.

Iam sending a big shout out to all of the brave men and women for taking care of business with the shooter at the school. You're rapid response was key. As I watch the video my heart is racing, I can't imagine how y'all stay focused. That spineless individual will not get her day in court and for that thank you. God bless.

Just wanted to give a thumbs up about the recent handling of the school shooting. Thank you for showing the nation what a good guy with a gun looks like. I know it’s horrible, but it would have been much worse without the brave men that took lead on this.

withholding a deranged criminals manifesto all for politicians. Sounds like it should be you who should be investigated. People have a right to know and you have a duty to provide that information. Shameful and disgraceful conduct, absolutely pathetic.

William Thorowgood is an adult child who can't handle the responsibility of authority. A weak ego who will be better fit digging ditches, along with any of the poor excuses for officers that attempted to cover up his wrongdoing.

Hero is an understatement for these men and women. True embodiment of what real men should do when innocent children are at risk of harm! Fantastic job on handling business and watching each others backs in the process.

The Chief must resign immediately! This department is covering up the tragic school shooting. The manifesto should have been released within days of the event. RELEASE THE MANIFESTO UNREDACTED!!

Best performance during a shooting , calm and swift being hable to defuse the situation in less than 20 min . Thanks to the brave officers that represent what protect and serve actually is.
