Selection: decent (as expected) Service: terrible Worst experience I've ever had shopping for clothes of any kind. Been to the Seattle location 4 times in the past year to buy suits for a wedding. The first visit was to pick out the suits. Bill was the one "helping" me, although he was at the same time helping another customer. This lead to him mixing up our suits (the other customer was about 5-6 inches shorter than I am, which meant that he kept giving me jackets that were no where near the right size for me). He then proceeded to do an impromptu group presentation to both of us to sell us on some Men's Warehouse credit card or something like that which was very off putting and unprofessional. I purchased 5 suits. 2 of the suits were for me and the other three were intended to be sent to my groomsmen. Bill assured me that all they needed to do was go to their local store and pick them up. About 4 weeks later I received all the suits in the mail, which was annoying since it meant I had to walk all the way back down to Men's warehouse to drop of the suits that were supposed to have been sent across the country. From there the suits were then apparently lost for about a month or two, at least the store didn't know where they were every time I called. Finally they arrived in the other stores, although of course they were at the wrong stores. So that added another 3 weeks while I had to call various MW stores to try and get them sent to the right location. Finally I went in to get my suits altered. When I then went to pick them up, there were probably about 5-6 people working in the MW and maybe 2 other customers. Despite this, when I was trying on my suits, no one was there to answer my questions regarding the fit. Apparently the football game on the tv was more important than their customers. Will never go to Men's Warehouse again. If you're planning a wedding, I strongly recommend going elsewhere for your suits.

Don't rent your tux here.I don't post reviews, I think mostly they are a sham. Please, there are enough small things to worry about on your wedding day and renting a crappy, expensive tux should not be one of them. Again, don't do it. Think you should? Don't. There are plenty of other places that offer the same service. It's worth going to "Not Men's Wearhouse" whatever company, town, or independent shop that may be. They screwed up where my order was delivered. They completely screwed up the measurements on all of my items (we're talking not even close). They screwed up on 3 of the 4 groomsman's measurements. They said to come in the day of the wedding at 9am and "they'll be ready!". They came in at 1145am and I waited for 2hrs and 45min at their store. Here's the kicker, though. After all that, my brother's tux had a hole in the elbow. They don't check the rentals before, during, or after they come in and out of the store. I spent 8hrs and 45 minutes of my time sitting and waiting in 2 Men's Wearhouse stores getting this order ready. I asked for a refund of 2 of the tuxedo rentals. "Of course, sir. We're sorry." was the answer. So I thought no problem, right? Well, 6 weeks later and no refund. I call to see what's going on and guess what? They typed in my phone number wrong into their system so they can't find the order. Off to spend another 1hr at Men's Wearhouse this evening... Don't do it. I'm not kidding. I'm not being over-dramatic. I know Google Reviews are dumb, but please, don't do it. Think you should? No! Go somewhere else. I can't stress that enough. And if you do, they'll pass around the blame to make sure nobody can take ownership of the problem. DO. NOT. RENT. FROM. MEN'S. WEARHOUSE. I gave 2 stars because I did physically get some tuxedos for $888!

I would highly, very highly, not recommend giving this particular location your business. Every other Men's Warehouse that I have been to has been adequate. I have a wedding in which I was a groomsman. Needed a certain suit, and there happened to be one jacket in my size available at another location. Which is not a big deal because if he could not find it, they could just have it custom made. The salesman who was helping me, bald gentlemen, sized me and fitted me for the suit. I paid for everything, and he told me he would find the jacket for me and call me about. I received no phone calls. Fast forward two months later and I came to pick everything up. He told me that he could not find the jacket which is completely understandable. So I asked about having the jacket custom made and he stated that they were out of the fabric. Offered no help or advice after and basically just told that I was out of luck. The next day I went to the Men's Wearhouse in Redmond, WA. They told me that is extremely odd that he would say that and they were able to custom make the jacket. Jacket comes in and I try everything on at the Redmond location. Turns out that the gentlemen at the Seattle store sized me for slim fit vest and loose fit pants. This looked awful. The pants were also size 34" which I've never worn before. So I had the Redmond re-tailor the pants to slim fit and my size. If I had not researched different locations, I would have been completely out of luck for my wedding. Extremely unprofessional. I will never give this location my business again and recommend that nobody else does either.

If I could give this store and the staff 0 stars I would. We were waiting on a vest in the mail to our house- Men's Warehouse unsuccessfully delivered TWICE and then had us pick it up from the store in downtown Seattle. Upon pickup we had to pay for parking because we had to wait 45 minutes for them to even locate the vest after they stated they had it in store. We paid to have it tailored and were told guaranteed pick up by August 2nd by 2pm. Here we are, at 3:30, the team couldn't locate the vest the day of pickup for another 30 minutes. Once they found it- they said it was being worked on as we speak (after 2 weeks of them having it for tailoring). The salesman, Owen, was completely disrespectful as we were explaining our concerns and frustrations, making faces and even laughing. We simply wanted to talk to the manager, which we were not given the courtesy of. Owen went to talk to him and stated that our parking for this visit will be reimbursed. After shipping costs, travel time, parking multiple times, and the cost of vest/tailoring, we are extremely disappointed. This is the exact reason we went away from Men's warehouse for our wedding back in September. GO USE THE BLACK TUX. You will be thrilled by the level of customer service, accuracy, and all around pleasant experience.

Selecting a suit and the initial fitting was pleasant and quick - however, they failed to follow through in delivering in a timely manner with a quality fit. When the suit initially arrived a few weeks later, the fit was off despite having taken measurements. I asked for alterations to be made by the in-house tailor and gave them a date I needed it by - one day before I flew out for a wedding - which they said they could do. I called again a few days later to confirm that they were still on track, to which they also said yes. Then, when I came to pick up the suit, the tailor said it wasn't done and there was no chance that it could be done given his workload. I informed him and another employee of the fact that I was flying out tomorrow for a wedding and needed the suit, and that they had affirmed twice in a row that they could make the deadline. In the end, I had to move my flight back to later that next day and they did a rush job to get it done by the morning, which I did appreciate. It still didn't fit quite like I would have liked but had to take it that next day regardless. Overall, I was reasonably satisfied with the product but they have real issues with delivery they need to solve.

Men’s wear house downtown might seem like your everyday suit store; but sometimes it’s the people there that make it more than your everyday store. Patrick at downtown men’s warehouse is a master of his craft; someone who truly is a professional in every way; who knows style; and can help make your suit journey far easier than it should be. I got my first suit from Patrick a few years ago; without the knowledge previously on suits and how to wear them, he took the time and taught me everything; which buttons to button; how to match my style; what fabrics go with what, etc. I now confidently wear suits daily; and it’s due to Patrick’s impeccable guidance within his store that I am able to do so. If you need a suit I recommend asking for Patrick; he will make sure to dress you right and make sure your confidence is primed for the rest of your world conquests.

I am truly unable to figure out why this location has multiple poor reviews. I went into this location to get a very specific outfit with a very specific look figured out. The staff were so unbelievably helpful in letting me try different coats and vests, making suggestions based on the colors I was looking for, and (figuratively) tailoring a set of the different parts of the suit that I needed just for me, even helping me to find the ones that were currently on sale to make it an absolutely unbeatable price. I could tell they were enjoying helping me pick the right clothing for the occasion and helping me match the colors to make the best suit and tie combination that I own. I will absolutely recommend anyone reading this to go into the store themselves and see what happens. I'm certain you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Selection is pretty good here, and prices are okay as long as you're getting a buy-one-get-one deal. The problem is the sales staff. BIG PROBLEM. Pushy, unknowledgable, and sometimes use tactics that are unsavory or misleading. They will try to upcharge you on tailoring you don't need, or overcharge you on tailoring items compared to their listed prices and especially compared to other tailors in the area. If you do go in here, make sure to keep an eye on your bill, and nerves of steel. I've spent $1500 at this location in the past year- a suit, a tux, 2 pairs pants, and a handful of ties. I don't know why I kept going back. If I go to a Men's Wearhouse anytime in the future, I am going to a different location- my experience with the Northgate store has been top-notch.

I don't understand their insistence on making men look like awkward prom teenagers with oversized fits. I'm 5'10", 185 and was given size 42 pants, an XL vest, and 46R jacket. At my fitting at this location, I made the obvious observation that everything was too big. The individual helping me said, "No problem," and "tightened" all the "adjustment straps." This made it so the tux did not fall off my body, I'll grant them that, but it did not FIT me. (I'll note that the individual who helped me was himself wearing a perfectly-fitted suit, so I think he did understand how one is supposed to fit.) It's not an overstatement to say that how ridiculous I looked nearly ruined the experience of my friend's wedding for me.

The Men’s Warehouse in my home city charged me a rush fee for placing an order within a week of the event. The associate placed the date of my event one month after the actual date. After checking in with this location three days in a row we went in and met with Patrick who helped us discover the associate who placed our order had input the date as a month later. We had to find a solution that day (day of event). Patrick went far above and beyond to get me situated with a fitted solution at no additional costs in a matter of a couple of hours. The service we received was unlike anything we had previously experienced. Thanks Patrick for making me one of the best dressed at the wedding we attended.

Terrible service and tardiness. Don’t ever use Mens Wearhouse for rentals and don’t expect timelines to be met. Did 2 fittings for a tux, still didn’t fit correctly. Changes where promised by the next day at 11 AM. Came in at 2 PM, nothing was finished. Was told the changes would be rushed in 15 min, came back at 3 PM (60 min of time for them to complete alterations), changes were still not made. Staff was rude when I expressed my frustration especially as the order was needed for a wedding dinner the same day. Worse part is, I got to the wedding and realized the staff didn’t make the changes they promised, pants were still too short.

After a bad experience at a different location, I had to come here to get measurements for a suit rental. I was prepared for the worst after very rudely being turned away at a different location, but I was so pleasantly surprised. I was greeted when entering the store and quickly helped by Patrick, who answered all questions I had and took care of everything within minutes. Lesson learned: Men’s Wearhouse greatly varies from location to location. Find one that you like and stick with it for all your needs. I would suggest coming to this store, even if you need to pay for parking, and avoid the Northgate location at all costs.

This franchise has fallen off so far it is hard to believe it is the same company. This particular store's integrity is so very disappointing from what it used to be. a. Unkept, dirty, pins all over the floor, don't walk bare footed. b. They don't want to give you what you asked for, only up sell their products. c.when they have your money and your order is incorrect, they don't return phone calls, or emails. d And finally they believe a pretty face is more important than having someone help you that knows their craft. This franchise may work for you, I wish you well, but I remember when George''s word counted for something.

My fiancé and I visited to find his wedding outfit. Ron E. was incredibly helpful and professional. He showed us a variety of options and talked us through different styling options. He helped my fiancé find the perfect suit and accessories. He never rushed us and helped my fiancé try on many options. We also were able to meet with the in-shop tailor, Will, during the same visit and the alterations are completed within 2 weeks. Ron also set up our wedding party group and explained all the logistics of an order. Overall, it was a excellent customer service experience. The suits are high quality and the prices are reasonable.

I stopped by Men’s Wearhouse in Downtown Seattle earlier today to see if I could get measurements without committing to a purchase. Since a family member recently passed away, I was in a rush to get measurements and hop on a flight to Texas and have the suit waiting for me upon arrival. Mike eagerly waited on me and was professional and warm in his customer service delivery. He provided me with exact measurements and even suggested that I try on a few jackets that might work. His assessment was spot on and I very much look forward to making a purchase from this individual in the future. Great job MWH Seattle!

Came in for a return and a lady named Kristin was supposed to help me out although she seemed quick to try & get rid of me and not help me in any other way but tell me to return back to the store that I purchased from because I didn’t have tags with the suit jacket. I called the store I bought it from immediately after leaving and they told me that was not true and the store creates tags as needed and it was no problem for me to come & return it if I wasn’t completely satisfied. The gentlemen in the store who helped me locate her name seemed nice.

Jarod did a great job helping us. His customer service was spot on and he didn’t try to over up sell things to us. When went into pick up the suit we had horrible customer service from other employees. Including overhearing a group of employees talking about a house party and smoking pot, while on the sales floor. We found Jarod again and he was able to help us get our needs met again. Men’s Warehouse should thank Jarod for keeping customers. Had we had initial contact with one of the other employees we would have taken our money somewhere else.

So my husband and I are getting married in a week and we don't live near a men's wearhouse. When his suit arrived at our place the pants fit was a bit off so in a last minute panic when we were in Seattle for last minute errands, this location was willing to help us out for last minute alterations fix. Went to this Mens Warehouse about 45 minutes before closing on Sunday, and got 2 pairs of slacks, which the manager (Justin) had them hemmed for me on the fly so I would be ready for this conference first thing Monday morning. He is the absolute greatest when it comes to helping find a suit, get fitted for a suit and not to mention talk you off the ledge when your groomsmen don't know which end is up and cause you to freak out that the orders might be wrong. I called on a Sunday and was told over the phone they could have a suit ready for me by Friday, when I walked into the store they told me that's impossible because the wait time is out two weeks. The staff were nice and attentive but I had to get something that didn't fit and had to come back a couple of days later to return it. I found something at Macy's that was ready to wear.

Accessories are very very pricey here, but they run good deals and quality suits and are very knowledgeable about current trends. Happy with the overall experience.

Pity the atmosphere is so chain-store-depressing, but otherwise: great people, quality merchandise, and very competitive prices. (Tip: always ask if they have any special deals going. The skillful salesman at Men's Wearhouse downtown sold me a perfect all-around jacket, "but you get two" for $400.00. The other one is also a great, versatile jacket. Ordered a suit, told them I needed for interview, told would be back in 9 days, 12 days later and 5 phone calls later still not in, ended up going to Nordstrom. Got a new suit same day. I am sitting here at the store for my refund... 1/2 hour in and I still don't have my refund. No one knows how to do a refund. Avoid this store!!

I really disliked the quality of the suit they proposed me, and I couldn't propose me a higher quality one. Their associates, while helpful, have to juggle many customers at once, which means you are left waiting for a long time while trying your stuff on.

Good quality with a broad selection of men's wear from dressy casual to semi-formal. Service is friendly and helpful. Prices are quite high (though their shoes are a good deal!) but if you shop at the end of the season you can get significant discounts.

Staff is helpful and thoughtful. I found it a very approachable experience. Service was not intrusive at all, they really treat you like a VIP. Just be prepared to pay up. It isn't cheap but you get what you pay for. Compromise elsewhere.

Ripped a pair of pants 30 minutes before a wedding I was part of. I showed up with the ripped pants and explained the situation. They had a near match hemmed and pressed in under 15 minutes. Maybe even 10. Saved my ass.
