Terrible place. I asked a waitress for a coffee, she asked what coffee I want, I replied. Then she just left and when came back she forgot I wanted a coffee and already in an irritated voice says "what you need." OK, once again. Coffee. And also a beer. She shows me with the finger where is the fridge with beers, like serve yourself, go. I went and other waitress comes up and says "what the f...", she keeps rolling eyes and looks at me like I'm a criminal,"how dare you touch our fridge??" I said other waitress told me to choose and then she tells in Croatian(which she doesn't know I can understand l) to other waitress - "here some idiot touching the fridge." if I could get one dollar for every time she bulged her eyes out or rolled during that short interaction, I could buy a bus ticket back to London:)) I guess that might be common in touristy places as such, as they don't care to keep a good reputation as tourists come and go and new ones gonna come with no clue. Thankfully,there was a great Irish pub just around and the bartender was super nice and friendly.

We waited for over 20 minutes before someone came to take our order or clean the table from the previous patrons' glasses, despite the fact that they suggested we sit there, and that someone would come to clean and take our order. The waitress was arrogant and rude and almost forgot about us and our order. The atmosphere was not bad, but the staff kind of made feel unwelcome. I guess they don't care, since tourists come and go and they won't become regulars anyway. They only accept cash (did not affect the review) Would not recommend, there are far better and vfm places nearby. Just to clarify, they had the cheapest drinks around, but other than that, the overall experience was bad.

A place with a lot of rustic charm, non-pretentious, for those who want to hang out in relaxed atmosphere. Beer choice is however, poor, but still decent. It can be pleasantly crowded during fridays and saturdays, so it is a good place to go for a night out, and during spring-autumn there is a nice terrace often filled with cheerful young people during evenings.

I came here on Sunday. I took a seat outside, waited awhile but no one came to take order. I went to the waitress to order a cappuccino. Unfriendly waitress. The wifi wasn't listed on the receipt so I went & ask the waitress for password, just hostile behavior. The playground is next to the cafe which was noisy. Surely won't be back.

Really cool place, looks amazing after a renovation! Weather you like to be in the middle of the rush of the Tkalčićeva street or stay hidden from it, this place has both. Big terrace outside, even bigger warehouse sized and nicely decorated multilevel patio inside, cool staff and good coffee. Would recommend to try at least once.

Horrible service. There are usually two to three bartenders in a shift but you have to get your own drinks because they are busy chatting with friends, drinking and smoking. They all seem under the influence and are quite rude. The toilets are dirty and so are the glasses sometimes. They dont have half the things on the menu.

An original place, a good location, a friendly barmaid, interesting design inside, with enough tables outdoor. We had a break there in the middle of the day and I was told later you could enjoy some good music as well. Recommended for its relaxing ambiance and cool service..

Kafić u zelenilu čiji položaj omogućuje cirkulaciju zraka, a hladovinu omogućuje i pokoja krošnja. Danju kafić, noću klub za zagrijavanje kultno je mjesto već godinama zbog opuštenog ugođaja u kojem se stvaraju uspomene. Omiljeno okupljalište svih generacija.

Long time ago it was a great place for lovers of alternative music. It was always packed. They changed the concept and although it was very nicely decorated it lost the soul; that something special from years back. It's worth a visit though.

Jako losa posluga. Dugo se ceka konobarica, nije htjela dati dvije case vode vec se trebalo ici po njih jer "taman pere case". Daje 0.3L pive umjesto 0.5L, ali naplacuje 0.5 bez racuna. Na prigovor dodaje 0.2 u obicnoj casi za zestice.

Opušteni i pomalo boemski kafić sa zanimljivom klijentelom, poslovično dobrom kavom i jako lijepom otvorenom terasomna kojoj je najljepše sjediti i promatrati svijet za toplijeg dijela godine!

Cute terrace place with descent prices to have a chill and hang out with friends. If you're into being seen in a posh place, this might not be your first pick, but it doesn't make the place any less cooler. To the contrary.

Glupo bi se bilo žaliti bilo na cijene, bilo na ponudu, bilo na uslugu, međutim mjesto je izgubilo jako puno od šarma koji je imalo, osobito natkrovljavanjem terase. Dakako, za kavu preko dana je druga stvar.

Nekad jako popularno alternativno mjesto, danas ni sjena. Iako je bilo malo ljudi, ceka se na pivu kao da je tek trebaju napravit. Definitivno treba osvjezit unutrasnjost. Cijene u prosjeku ostatka ulice.

Lijepo mjesto za sjest na kavu, ali 3 stola nepočišćena, 3 stola čekaju piće, a ne čini se da je gužva. Konobar nas gleda iznutra i ne dolazi... Na kraju smo otišli jer nismo htjeli više čekati.

This bar is cash only. Atmosphere is great, staff are amazing and very helpful.

Neodrzavana terasa. Jednom nemaju nista od vina, drugi put nemaju nista od tocenih piva a sve im stoji na cjeniku. Zmazane case kao secer na kraju. Najgori birc na Tkalci!!!

The waitress was extremely rude, the drinks were 25 kunas but they were so watered down that you couldn’t even taste any alcohol at all. Do not recommend!

Dobra stara alternativa u ZG, osoblje extra---posebna pohvala za otkačenu konobaricu s dugom plavom kosom ,mada su i dečki stvarno super! …

Preko dana odlično za otići i sa djecom. Odmah je igralište u sklopu kafića, tako da u miru možete opušteno ispijati kavu ili pivo :)

Od kvalitete osoblja do čistoće posuđa i stolova čovjek se samo mora pitati kako taj kafić može raditi u centru grada.

Doći u Melin znači koraknuti u neku drugu dimenziju prostora i vremena. Vrlo nekonvencionalni zagrebački kafić.

Sve super, lijepo uređen, samo na čašama i šalicama mrlje od prethodnih korištenja iako se vidi da je oprano.

Terasa blizu djecjeg igralista. Idealno ako imate djecu u drustvu koja se mogù i igrati na igralištu.

Konobar Bono je pravi gospodin, uvijek ljubazan i ugodan! Svaki event u lokalu vrijedan posjeta...

Konobarica katastrofa. Ako ti se ne radi, nađi drugi posao jer za ugostiteljstvo očito nisi.
