****READ BEFORE REGISTERING**** RECONSIDER. BETTER GP SURGERY ARE THERE IN NORTHOLT I have never been to a GP that is very unprofessional. I must admit it’s not all staff. Some of the staff are very rice but majority of them are extremely rude. Very very UNPROFESSIONAL. Customer service is lacking. More training needed within the staff. Some don’t even deserve the job. Watching how others are treated made me realise, they HONESTLY CHOOSE WHO THEY WANT TO BE NICE TO. ITS ALMOST LIKE THEY HAVE THEIR FAVOURITE CLIENTS. Am Literally speaking to the receptionist. Phone is ringing. Not even “sorry, give me few min”, I literally got told nothing. Am still talking “she answers the phone” ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. When I said excuse me her exact reply was “sorry am on the phone” but WAIT WAS I NOT JUST SPEAKING TO YOU. I wish I took her name You go into an appointment expecting a smile and a good customer service. Especially in the morning. They literally ruin your whole mood for the day. I wish I can give NO STAR. If you request a medical report, history or even a letter. It takes them more than one week to prepare it. Considering there are many staff, the requirements for the clients aren’t met. You have to Constanly call EVERYDAY to chase up. They’re All Sri Lankan Tamil, there’s no confidentiality. Anyone in the waiting area can hear the conversation between the receptionist and the clients. They most definitely take advantage of the clients as they have lack of understanding in English. Most of them go here because they have no English. Every client that goes here is vulnerable adults. They’re fully aware of this. It’s absolutely disgusting the way I see some of the clients being treated. I honestly walked out feeling so distraught. We are all human beings at the end of the day. No one deserves to be treated any less honestly.
Have been visiting since I was a child - this place honestly used to be good. Nowadays though it's filled with backwards staff and doctors that are stuck in the dark ages. Unsure how they're even qualified to treat, I once came in suspecting I had PCOS, told the doctor I had missed periods, was quickly gaining weight, and had developed male-pattern facial hair.... and she diagnosed me with IBS...?! (And yes, I went and got a second opinion elsewhere and, surprise, I had PCOS) Not to mention how rude they are (a couple years back a doctor gave me foul looks because I said I didn't want children - for context, she asked if I was pregnant and my answer was somewhere along the lines of "Nah never, don't want kids"). I think my absolute worst experience was when a doctor tried to book a surgery for me that I DIDN'T WANT, I repeatedly told her I did not want surgery and she would stop trying to pressure me into getting it done (more additional context, it was to remove a dermoid cyst that wasn't really causing me issues). There's a lot more I can say about this place in regards to wait times (in short, you'll never be seen on time), cleanliness, and how grey and bleak it looks, but I'd be going on forever. This is, without question, the worst GP I've ever visited.
What a great experience from the moment I entered the Meadow view Surgery, The greeting of the lovely reception team will give any patient such a warm welcome and cared for feeling. I MUST say that Dr. T.Sivarajah is one of its kind. His diagnosis are so thorough & shows genuine concerns. He gave me a listening ear. He was never in a rush though he is extremely busy otherwise.Honestly that shows how much he "CARES" for the patients as though it's his own family. I always had great encounters with him. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care and professionalism. God bless him. Additionally, I had great experience with the health care assistant, HCA (NARINDER) for my first ever health exam. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. She gave me thorough knowledge about my health with some Do's and Dont's which was impressive ! Well done everyone and keep the good work going at the Meadow view surgery .
I called to ask about my maternity exemption and the receptionist didn’t even let me finish my question she just said , “darling ,you have to apply in person”. She wouldn’t let me talk, every time I began to start my sentence, she says darling this, darling that. Finally I managed to get two Words in and explain I haven’t received my maternity exemption it’s has been over 3 months, then she said “ darling, you have to contact NHS England and there is nothing we can do. I contacted NHS England just to be told it’s NHSBSA I have to contact. The receptionist needs further training in dealing with patients , very unprofessional and annoying starting and ending every sentence with darling and not letting me explain why I was calling to begin with.
I would like to thank all the staff at Meadow View Surgery for all the wonderful support they have given me and my family & friends on all occasions of booking appointments. A special thank you to Dr T Sivarajah who is always very kind and considerate with all his patients. He also helps us to understand any issues thoroughly and takes his time to ensure all his patients are comfortable with the information they have received. Also a special thank you to, Narinder and Hema who are extremely helpful staff in the surgery who provide lots of support in booking appointments and any issues in relation to the surgery. Thank you to Nurse Sujatha for all her assistance when required.
I have been with this surgery for over 20 years and have seen a vast improvement in the services over the last few years. On the rare occasion when I need to consult with a doctor, I normally ask for Dr T Sivarajah who explains things well and is frank in his communication. Narinder manages my diabetes and is thorough in her reviews with me. She always has time to answer my various questions and discuss any concerns. The current reception team are much more customer focused and open to resolving requests in a friendly way. Glad that the service has come a long way and may it continue in the right direction!
I always ask to be seen from doctor T Sivarajah. He is the best doctor in that surgery and of all the doctors in any other surgery in Northolt. He examine you and explain anything that you need to know. Narinder Trish and Fatima are my best ones in that surgery too. They know what they doing. The girls at the reception lost my hospital prescription last year In august. They need to be more careful in their job. Their customer service is a bit down comparing it to Anjna and her team before when I jointed the surgery ( a bit of training is needed at the front desk )
I don’t recommend, going to change my GP. Dr Manchulaa Thavaraj is the only kind and friendly doctor however she does change when G Sivarajah tells her to but I am changing my GP because of Dr T Sivarjah he doesn’t respect me as a human being and treats me so badly he shouts and sometimes refuses to give me appointments, whenever I try to complain to G Sivararajh about Dr T somehow my call gets transferred to Dr T ‘s Line and he ends up shouting at me, wish I could give this 0 stars. Terrible GP, staff need to get off their high horses and act like actual receptionist as they seem to not know how to do their job, always confusing and rude when talking to them. Doctor Sivarajah is extremely rude and hostile and asks questions nothing to do with health or issues that the appointment was made for. Long waiting time for appointments
Not enough, seats in waiting room. Hard to understand what is being said to you. Everyone in the waiting room, can eardrop on your conversation with the receptionist. No music or appropriate magazine to look through whilst you wait. Always cold. Steep stairs to climb to get to doctor's rooms. Not always knowing where you going because you cant understand what it being said to you. And what doctor/nurse is who. Im being generous by giving you a star.
Absolutely amazing. Everyone from the reception staff to the nurses and doctors are so friendly. When you enter the surgery it's more like family then the doctors. Everyone is so nice and always have a smile on their faces. I have never had a problem in getting an appointment for me and my family. We moved houses but still kept this surgery as it's very hard to find this service at any other surgery. Thank you to everyone at meadow view.
I've been a patient at this practice for many years. The HCA Narinder is very welcoming and I see her as a long lost friend, its always a joy to be seen by her. Dr T Sivarajah is one of the best since Dr Azra. He takes the time to listen to any of my concerns, and he explains fully every treatment I've had throughly. I've never been disappointed with any consultations with Dr T Sivarajah. Thank you both.
i am pleased to be back in my old surgery hca narinder is really nice and friendly and explains everything to me about my health needs especially my diabetes and high blood pressure so please with her, glad i have my previous doctor t sivarajah too he is super helpful to me very professional , the staff are amazing too very friendly , this is the best surgery i ever had , so glad to be back here,
Great doctors and great and helpful receptionist. Got my mother appointment cancelled for some reason I went to the gp and receptionist kindly went and spoke to the doctor and the doctor came down and saw my mother in downstairs room because she’s disabled and can’t climb the stairs. Always helpful and accommodating.
One wonders whether the bad reviews are from people who are unpleasant themselves. For about 20 years I have been looked after by Dr T and Narinda and all the staff with good humour and efficiency. The NHS must be a difficult organisation to operate in and Meadowview provides as good a service as can be expected
Highly recommended surgery... really surprised about bad reviews... I never ever seen this kind of rude staff or doctors... they are really helpfully and treats patient very well... being here for 15yrs...I never had a bad experience... to be honest really lucky to have DR Tharmalingam Siva rajah as my GP
We had an appointment at 14:00 and they said we have to wait because nurse is gone out and they don’t know when the nurse will come back . Absolutely very poor service. Receptionist is very very rude. I would not recommend anyone to register here . They seems to don’t know what they are doing .
The staff were really kind and helpful. Doris on reception was very empathetic and made sure I was seen on short notice. The doctor was also great and took the time to speak to me, ask questions and explain. Special thanks to Doris though, she really came through for me when I needed it :).
My health care assistant’s Mrs Narinder. She is very helpful because she send me to diabetes clinic to control my diabetes 2year’s ago before was 7:2 now 4:5. Because she guides me to do 15mins walk everyday, eat healthy food, eat less rice & eat brown so on
Well it's a good surgery but I wouldn't say the best. They ensure you're healthy and nothing to be concerned about although you have to wait around an hour or more. They are okay but i would advise you to go some place else where.
No surgery in this decade should not have a waiting/hold system. A surgery who expects those who call them to constantly hang up and redial just because someone else is on the line is idiotic.
Watched and heard a viral video of how clients are treated by the reception. Absolutely disgusting people you have working behind the counter. Should not be working customer service. From AU.
The waiting time is 90 minutes to call the reception.. It says I'm 3rd in the queue. Do you need 90 minutes to answer 2 patients? Worst service. But getting money from NHS..
Extremely rude receptionist's no manners on how to talk or treat the patients absolutely disgusting , let me not tell you about the waiting time
Absolutely annoying! Is 8:19 in the morning and I’m trying to call them and it saying the surgery is close. Always is like that!!!
Phone service is absolute jokeman!! No one is ever available to answer the call, and I’ve waited 2 months for a sick note!
14 days after online registration and I am still not a patient of this GP. One big mistake
The receptionist is not picking up the phone it is a very poor service …
Worst Gp service in my life , useless management.
